It was the day of Maddy's birthday party, that was Cassie's house. Isabella sat on the Howards couch next to Lexi. Lexi was writing her play, snd Isabella was texting ash.

But Isabella kept a close eye in Cassie, she knew she was being weird, she just didn't know why.

Cassie downed a whole White claw then took a deep breath as if she was having an anxiety attack. Isabella gave her a confused look but shrugged it off as the door bell rung.

It was nate. As much as Isabella hated him she wasn't going to say anything about him being there. Because know she knew how Maddy felt.

She knew how she felt when she knew everyone around her would shame her for getting back together with him. And say they were bad for each other.

Isabella sat in-between BB snd Maddy while in the hot tub, because that's where she knew she was the safest.

"Hi." Cassie said as she came drunkenly stumbling out if the house "are you okay?" Kat asked her

"Oh, oh." Kat said as cassie sat in the hot tub but ' accidentally ' falling into nate while doing that.

Isabella looked to her left where BB was looking at her, as if they were thinking the same thing.

"Im sorry." Cassie said as she got off nate

"It-s its okay." He said fastly as his eyes never left maddys, Isabella tried not to laugh and maddy shot her a glare.

"Happy birthday." Cassie said smileing sweetly at Maddy, "Thank you!" She said to her Best friend

"Im so glad y'all are back together!" BB said about Nate And Maddy.

"Were not back together." Maddy said shaking her head

"You're not?" Cassie asked but she looked at nate while saying it, which just about though Isabella over the edge.

"No." Nate said fastly.

"I mean I was gonna say no, but why are you saying no?" Maddy asked him and by the tone of her voice, Isabella knew this would start an argument.

"Um... Because were not?" Nate said confused

"I Know," she said taking her hand out the water "but why are you being do definitive about it?"

"Im not being definitive about it." He said still confused

"Well I mean you sounded like it." Maddy said to him

"She just asked a question so I was just-"

"That you didn't have to answer." Isabella looked at kat who was just as confused as she was

"Yeah okay."

"But you did."

"I don't understand what were arguing about." Nate said confused

"You and your tone." Maddy told him as if she was dumb founded

Isabella zoned out after a while, she hated when the argued. She hated when anyone argued, but when it came to Maddy it hurt more.

Isabella snaped out of her when Maddy asked her a qestuion, "it was fast huh?" Isabella just nodded her head and kat said agreeing to it also.

"You really think shes gonna fucking disagree with you?" He asked looking at Isabella

"Im my own human nate. If I want to disagree with someone I will, you out of all people should know me and Maddy have disagreed about things before." Isabella said looking him up and down all he did was roll his eyes and she was back into her trance.

Thinking about ashtray, what was he doing, what would they be doing right now if she wasnt stuck at this chaotic party then, Cassie though up.

She jumped out of the hot tub, helped Maddy out then walked inside to find lexi.
