It was new years eve. And Isabella was at the party that every high schooler was at. It was mostly seniors, but she was related to Maddy so she got invited everywhere.

She got a ride from Maddy, they had finally frequently started talking again, Maddy had told her that her and nate had broken up. Isabella knew she still loved him, and she always would.

there was still that awkward silence, Isabella never told her about being friends with ash because she knew how she would act.

The only people that knew were Rue Lexi, and fez. And she intended on it staying that way.

Isabella hadn't spoken to ashtray in over a year, the last time she saw him was the day I took her to the store.

Isabella walked to where the least amount of people were, it was by the bomb fire, there was too people, one of the twins. She didn't bother asking which one, and someone with thier hood on she couldn't see thier face it was too dark.

She sat down in a lawn chair with her phone in one hand and her drink in the other.

The fire lit up the boy in front of hers face, and suddenly Isabella regretted sitting there.

About four feet infront of her her ex best friend was sat right infront of her. And she mentally cussed herself out for it.

They made eye contact, she rolled her eyes and started to walk away but he went after her. Ashtray garbed her hand and puller her back from walking.

"Fuck off ashtray." She said turning to face him, while she talked she had her finger pointed at his chest, "Fuck off. You're  the one who said were not good for each other, don't try to fucking talk to me now," isabella said harshly blinking back tears "you want to talk to me now? After a year and a half of not talking to me, ignoring every text and call? Fine. Then talk."

He was silent again. Not a word, he couldn't, this didn't feel sural enough. To him, it felt like he was going to wake up from this dream at any moment.

She laughed lightly out of anger, she rolled her eyes then said "Exactly." Before walking away

"... Wait," he called out but she didn't stop "isa!"

She turned around while walking backwards she shouted "Go to hell ash!" While flipping him off with both of her hands.

Truth be told, Ash only did what he did to protect her. But then again that's always the excuses.

Isabella plodded down on the couch on between Fez and Lexi. She put her head on lexi's shoulder and sighed.

"You okay kid?" Fez asked knowing something was up

Her and Fez had a Brother and sister type friend ship. He wouldn't sell her shit even if  she begged him. He genuinely cared for the younger girl.

"Been better." Isabella said as she sat up all Lexi did was look at her.

"What's up?" He questioned with furrowed eyebrows

"Your brother." She said quietly but loud enough for him to hear over the music.

"Can you two just make up so ion have to do it myself?" He said which made her smile a little

"See you soon lexi, bye Isabella." He said you would think after nine years he would know her name, but even the people he was close with he couldn't remember shit about.

"You have some explaining to do." Isabella said turning to lexi with a grin lexi rolled her eyes with a smirk.

Then they heard maddy and cassie screaming. Isabella being the nosey bitch she is she got up to see what it was about. She saw Fezco beating the shit out of Nate Jacobs.

"You amazing mother fucker." Isabella said pretty loudly. She was happy that Nate was finally getting the shit beat out of him, everybody knew that Isabella hated Nate Jacobs.

Ash was standing in the door way waiting for fez so they could get the fucking out of there. So when fez finally got off of Nate he stoped at Isabella

"You coming with us?" He asked her

"Please." She said not wanting to get stuck at the hospital for nate with maddie and cassie.
