Lexi, Kat, Cassie, Maddy, and Isabella were all at the Howards house. The five girls were siting around the kitchen table talking about something when they heard a bang on the door.

Lexi was the first one to shoot up from her seat and answer the door, "hey." Rue's voice echoed though the house. Maddy and isabella looked st each other and Maddy left the room to go see rue

"Are you okay?" Lexi asked as she opened the door wider for Rue

"Mhm, I think i just have like a... Cold or something." Rue said shrugging it off even though she was obviously high

"Okay well don't get me sick because i have rehearsal." Lexi said with a sort of laugh

"I cant get you sick,"

"Okay well... Colds are contagious..." Lexi said pointing it out

"Hey rue!" Maddy said as ash she walked in the room with the three girls following behind her

All of the girls expect for Lexi hugged Rue as suze greeted the younger girl. Maddy Kat and Cassie all left the room, Isabella stood next to Lexi.

Suze and Rue talked briefly and as soon as Rue was out of ears reach suze said, "shes not doing good," both of the girls shook thier heads in unison "Lexi call her mom."

When Rue came out the bathroom she froze as soon as she got to the stairs, she saw her mom at the bottom while all of the girls stood watching.

Lexi and Isabella were on the couch Isabella was texting Ashtray, and was vidly listening to what was happening around her.

Her and Ashtray were going back and fourth about stupid stuff, not actually arguing just bickering like a married couple.

She heard rue said, "I cant do that shit forever." But Isabella's eyes didn't leave the screen up until what cassie said.

"You don't have to," Cassie said in an obnoxious voice "just .... take it one day at a time. " Cassie looked around at ever one with a smile as if she had conquered the world.

"Hey cass?" Rue asked as she sat at the top of the stairs,

"Yeah?" She asked confused

"I have a quick question for you..." Rue said Isabella took that as a que to start paying close attention to whatever would happen next.

"What?" Cassie asked looking up at the girls sitting on the stairs.

"How long have you been fucking Nate Jacobs?" Isabella didn't even have time to processes what rue said before her mouth flew open.

And before her feet thought before her head lexi laid on top of her so she couldn't get up, it wasn't that she was protecting her older sister, lexi was protecting the younger girl from getting in trouble.

"Wha- what are you talking about?" Cassie asked nervously as tears formed in her eyes

"How long have you been fucking Nate?" Rue asked smugly as Maddy looked back at kat and Isabella. She didn't have a reaction, at the time.

"Im not," Cassie laughed out nervously "what? In not."

"What are you taking about?" Maddy asked confused

"Well I just saw her get in Nates truck." She said with a shrug

"Lexi I love you, but get the fuck off of me." isabella whispered

"Awe i love you to." She said back completely disregarding what she last said

"You're fucking nate? At you kidding me?" Maddy asked madly as she was in shock and still processing what had happened.

"Wh- what? I don't even know why she would say that?" Cassie laughed out nervously

Isabella zoned out because she was mad, and if isabella was this mad, she could only imagine how mad Maddy was.

"You're fucking crying?" Maddy asked as she was in face

"Maddy come on." Kat said trying to grab Maddy away from Cassie, Isabella really couldnt do anything but yell at that point. So thats what she did

"No kat LET HER BEAT HER ASS!"

"Your fuck MY EX, and your fucking crying?"

When cassie ran upstairs is when Isabella finally pushed Lexi off of her, when she locked her self in the bathroom she was pounding in the door.

And when Maddy cried because she just lost her best friend to the ex that ruined her life, Isabella was the one that was there.

And in that moment where she felt like isabella was the only person on her side she remembered what it felt like to be so close to her and to actually talk to her.

She missed her,
