I've written many poems over the years, many of them on the dark side. This one is no exception. This is simple a poem about a relationship coming to an end.

All or Nothing

You look at me,

With Love in your eyes.

I have none,

But I tell you lies.

You know the truth,

But humor my ways.

I remember times we had.

How I long for the days.

I once said all or nothing,

But I become the hypocrite.

The scales unbalanced,

I become the bitch.

All or nothing,

I take the latter.

All or nothing,

Nothing's looking better.

Stand your ground.

Hold on tight, or release me now,

Give what I give,

And crush my doubt.

If it be all? Give it.

If it be nothing? Take it.

I take all, and give nothing.

I set you free, my dove.

Soar the sky,

For freedom, the price is high.
