"I said......SAY. IT. AGAIN" he said in a dangerous tone.

"Bab.....Bablu...." I stuttered as he caged me between the wall and himself.

"Now.........are you ready to scream it again and again for me?" he whispered huskily.

Nisha's POV

They thought that they could fool us easily? No matter how badly Sonakshi tried to cover herself up, the hickeys and bite marks on her neck were visible and so obvious. How I wished I could just kill her. My plan was going so smoothly from the start and she just spoilt it in a second.

I made Dev guilty in the office and he was getting closer to me. But how did this happen all of the sudden? Damn! Curse the rain! If it hadn't rained last night, he would not have gone to search for that bitch!

As Sonakshi made her way up stairs, I moved closer towards Dev in the sofa to ask him about something. That's when I noticed the scratch marks on his neck. Oh gosh... Is it true? My eyes froze on his neck and trailed down to search for more evidences but unfortunately, he was quick to walk away to his room.

Never mind, I will have all the time with him in the office....

When I walked towards Dev's room I heard giggles and moaning. Now this had become a routine in Dixit's house. I felt like my ears were bleeding. However, curiosity got the best out of me. I peeped in and got the shock of my life.

Dev pinned Sonakshi near the wall and was kissing the hell out of her. From her struggling, I could see that she was out of breath. She held on to his head as if her life depended on them while Dev descended down her neck. He threw her shawl away and placed kisses down her collarbone. Without delay, he held her legs and forced Sonakshi to wrap them around his waist.

Not being able to hold the sight, I clenched my eyes close as I heard Dev muttering something to Sonakshi.

"Sonakshi...I need you...right now!" he spoke between his kisses behind her ears.

What the fuck, Dev? Isn't she fasting? Urrrr....gross! I just felt like breaking the door down, but the words that came out from Sonakshi made me dumbfounded.

"Dev....please....I am still sore from yesterday! Not.......now.." she pleaded.

WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL? Those hickeys, scratch marks........ them staying over in Dev's penthouse............ Oh shit, NO!!!! How could I have let this happen? I should have gone to Dev's penthouse yesterday. Should have called him back! Shit!!!!!

And wait... What about the fast? Seriously, they did that? Did she not respect her mother in law's wish? How dare... I won't spare you Sonakshi. Dev is just mine! Only mine!

Before they get drowned in their passionate romance, I decided to knock the door. I banged the wooden surface, releasing my pent-up frustrations on the poor door.

"I promise I will be gentle....please" Dev pleaded as Sonakshi just gave him an impossible look.

"No Dev! This is what you say all the time. I am just too exhausted. Not now......" she sighed as her legs were still tightly wrapped around him.

Dev was still busy coaxing Sonakshi when the door began to bang. Dev flinched at the noise and frowned before placing Sonakshi down gently. Dev and Sonakshi parted away and adjusted their clothes. When the door banged again Dev was fully annoyed.

He cursed under his breath and vowed that if he found Kichu or some other servant at the door, he would never spare them. When he walked to his door, he noticed that the door was not fully closed. As he opened it, he saw a frustrated Nisha standing there with a fake smile.

"Nisha??" he asked not knowing what else to say as Sonakshi just stared at them.

"Hi both of you...... Dev, I just came here to ask whether are you coming to office today or not? We still have lots of work pending, you know" Nisha asked as Sonakshi narrowed her eyes at Nisha.

She sensed something really going wrong. She scanned Nisha's face for any evil smile but Nisha just avoided Sonakshi's stare and kept her gaze constantly at Dev.

"Um, I might be late. Just postpone all the meetings. I will be coming in the afternoon." Dev said as he turned and walked towards the bed. Sonakshi stared at Nisha as she just returned a glare and walked away mouthing 'bitch' towards Sonakshi.

Sonakshi just rolled her eyes and walked towards Dev. He was stretching his arms and getting ready for a nap when Sona accommodated herself on his lap. He was stunned by her sudden actions and immediately secured his hands around her to prevent her from falling down.

"Dev!! I love you." Sona said as she pecked his cheeks lovingly.

"Woah, what's with the sudden love, huh?" he asked smirking.

"Don't go to work please........ Just today." she pleaded as Dev looked at her confused.

"Why? What's wrong, love?" he asked in concern as he saw worried lines etched on her face.

"Nothing... I guess I just want you by my side today." she pouted as Dev's heart fluttered at her words. She always made him feel so special.

After last night Dev felt connected with her in every way. Not just physically but emotionally as well. It just broke the walls between them and created another level of trust.

"I will be back soon Sonakshi. Don't worry." He tried saying but she hugged him closer and rubbed her cheeks against his shoulder.

"Please Dev.... Don't leave. If you are leaving then I am coming with you. I don't want to stay here alone." she spoke against his neck arousing him more.

"Come on Sona, I am sure you are exhausted like crazy. You need lots of rest. I will go work and come back in a while. Just stay here baby." He said soothing her back as she snuggled more into him.

"Dev!!! You need rest too.... Can't you even take one day off? Please only today na?" she asked as she was getting annoyed.

When it came to office work and stuff, Dev never paid listened to Sonakshi as he always took his own decisions. For once she wanted him to listen to her. She was already in a dilemma, thinking about how she was going to face Ishwari after breaking the fast, and if Dev stayed at home at least things wouldn't be so awkward. But Dev was hell bent on going to work.

After few minutes, Sonakshi gave up and went to sleep while Dev got ready for work. He was unhappy about his decision too. But Dev was a person who strongly followed his rules. He was a person who hated cancelling or postponing events at the last minute. If he stayed at home today, then he would be answerable to many people. He knew he could make it up to Sonakshi after he returned back.

After all, he had planned to take a long break after a few days of work...

Sona's POV

I didn't know how long I slept but when I woke up there was a loud noise coming outside my room. I looked at the time and realized that it was past afternoon. God, how long have you been sleeping Sona!!!! Wake up. This is not your mother's house.

I quickly rushed outside to check what the commotion was about and my guess was right. Ishwari and Radharani! They were scolding the servants there. As I walked towards them, they stopped their commotion and stared at me.

"Sonakshi......" Ishwari gasped as she gave me a disgusted glare. Okay, what now?

I slowly stood infront of her, preparing myself for something. I stood there while they exchanged glances between themselves. Ignoring me, Ishwari turned towards Kichu and started scolding him.

"Kichu..... Didn't you know that you mustn't let anyone come to our house when no one is here!" she shouted at the poor servant while he looked frightened by her.

"I didn't let anyone inside mam... Trust me." he stuttered.

"Then! How did the money and bangle went missing?" she sneered as I looked at them shocked.

"Maa, .... Y-Your bangles went missing?" I asked shocked while Ishwari glared at me.

"Yes, can't you hear me? Are you deaf? We were talking about that for so long! Oh ya how would you know... You were busy sleeping, weren't you?" she gritted angrily as I was taken aback by her tone.

"I was...just..asking.."

"No need to ask anything Sonakshi. When you can't respect any traditions of this family then why bother acting like you do? You didn't respect the fast then how can you face me like this? Aren't you ashamed of yourself?" she screamed as I stood numb, registering her words again. I didn't know why, but I truly felt ashamed to look at anyone at that moment.

I regretted walking down. I wished someone could save me from there but it was too late. My throat felt constricted and I felt loss of words.

"I.....how...I mean...what did I do?" I stammered as my eyes blurred.

"What Sonakshi beta? Shocked? You think we wouldn't know? We aren't so dumb like you think. Remember one thing! You just disgust us!" Radharani mocked as I gasped.

"Now, just leave from this place before I lose my patience!" Ishwari roared as I quickly walked back to my room.

Halfway towards my room, I stopped as I heard Dev's voice. Pushing back my tears, I turned back to see a serious Dev striding towards his mum.

"Maa.....what happened? You called me....you said something urgent? What's wrong?" he asked as Ishwari explained how her things went missing from the morning. Sensing the situation and giving them their privacy, I just walked back to the room dejectedly.

Once I reached my room, I felt dizzy. My mind was clouded with questions. How did they know? I mean, this was something private between me and Dev. Did they spy on us? God, I feel like I don't belong here at all. They don't even treat me like a family member. How am I going to survive here?

I quickly stood and walked to the closet to find for my personal diary. I used to write personal diary during times like this. When I was sad and had no one to share my problems with, I would use my diary. But now, I couldn't find it. It was then I realized that I had left my diary at my parent's home.

Irritated with the turn of events, I walked to my bed at sat there, thinking of other ways to release my frustrations. As I was lost in my thoughts, I heard the door opening. God...finally!

As Dev walked in, I rushed up to him and engulfed him in a bone-crushing hug. Unknowingly tears started to flow down my cheeks as he hugged me back with care.

"What's wrong, Sona?" he asked with worry as I couldn't control my tears.

"No-nothing. I just missed you" I said in between my sobs as he breathed a sigh of relief.

He slowly untangled himself from me and caressed my hair. I desperately wanted to tell him everything but before I could start , he laid down on the bed. He looked so drained and exhausted.

"Dev, what happened?" I asked him as he looked at me and sighed.

"You do know right? You can't lie to me, Sona..." he said and I looked at him with shock. Yes, it was true that I couldn't lie to him. But what else could I do? Utter everything when he is back from a long day?

"D-Dev....."

"Tell me Sonakshi.... What made you cry? I know you wouldn't just cry because you missed me." He asked with a small smile as I lowered my gaze.

"Dev... I think your mum knows that we broke the fast....." I spoke softly as he straightened his posture.

"What?? How?"

"I don't know..."

"Did she say anything to you?" now his voice was more stern and strong.

"She was angry Dev. She yelled at me that I should be ashamed of myself. I just can't face her anymore. What should I do?" my voice broke as I sobbed again. Dev's eyes widened and he shook his head in dismay.

"Tell me everything Sonakshi. Now!." he demanded and this time I told him everything. And guess what? It felt better. I felt like releasing a great burden off my shoulders.

This time Dev expressions turned from shock to anger. Fires of fury was smouldering in the narrowed eyes. He immediately pulled me closer and patted my back.

"Shhh....stop crying. If that's what happened, I am going to talk to my mum about this right now! This is absolutely unacceptable Sonakshi. No one has the rights to treat you this way...Not even my mum. She has no rights to question what happened between us!" he said and stormed off.

Now that was unexpected! Oh my god! What have I done?
