Dev's POV

Sonakshi's expressions were worth watching. Her eyes would widen and once she understood her face would flush and she would avoid any sort of eye contact with me. She kept her gaze on the floor all the while as I pulled her closer to me.

I had never seen such a fun side of Sonakshi before. She was so happy. The blush on her face was worth watching. We went for a movie and took the couple seat behind. It was such a pleasant feeling to have her in my arms. I didn't remember the last time she was this happy. She intertwined her fingers with mine and laughed freely. She even kissed me a few times in between the romantic scenes. My excitement went beyond limits and I was smiling like teenage school kid!

Come on Dev! You are not a hormonal teenager...

Who cares about the movie when you have a gorgeous woman in your arms? I was admiring the way how she was so engrossed in the movie. I frowned when she was looking dreamily at the actor in the movie. Who the hell drools at the hero of the movie when your husband is sitting right beside you?

God damn! When did I turn so jealous?

After the movie ended, we came back, had good food in a restaurant and did some shopping. But every time I decided to buy something for her, she insisted on paying for it herself. After successfully shutting her up, I paid for her things and walked back towards the bike.

"Dev.... Neha was mentioning that you have a Jacuzzi bath tub in one of our guest room. Is it true?" she asked enthusiastically.

"Hmmm"

"Can I have a bath there tomorrow...please??" she pouted as I looked at her. She was really adorable.

"Only if I am allowed to join in..." I raised my eyebrows as she gaped.

"Oh God..... No way!" she said and ran towards my bike.

As I started my bike, she arranged all the items we bought on the back-box. When she was done, she immediately pulled me and gave me a kiss on my cheeks.

I blinked, still trying to register the incident which happened a few seconds ago.

"What was that for?" I asked still shocked.

"Thank you so much Dev!!! This date was an awesome one... I love you so much. You have no idea how much this means to me! I am really so damn happy!" she exclaimed as I just grinned at her.

She was still a child. I realized that she was truly happy. She didn't need money or gifts to make her happy. She needed quality time with me and she was happy just because I took her for a date. My sweetheart!!!

She was still hesitant to get in the bike after our first ride together. She made it difficult for me to keep my hands away from her. I knew there was no more restrictions for us to consummate our marriage but I didn't want it to be forced. I felt that she was still mentally not prepared to take the relationship forward and I wanted to wait for the right time. I cupped her face and brought her lips close to mine but she placed her palms in front, stopping me from completing our kiss.

I groaned and looked at her.

"Not here! Let's get home first!" she said before getting on the bike.

Ishwari's Mansion

"Ishwari!!!! I am getting mad in this house. Why am I still alive? To watch their romance in this house?" Radharani yelled as Ishwari kept an irritated face.

"Ishu maa... I think maa is right. I can't stay here anymore. I just can't bear to see them together like that. My dreams of getting married to Dev has been ruined. Now what else do I have left here?" Nisha said as she faked her tears in front of Ishwari.

"NO ONE LEAVES THE HOUSE TILL I SAY SO! This is not done yet! Nothing is finished. Nisha will be my daughter in-law and no one will change that. Soon Dev will realize his mistakes and accept you. Just be patient beta.." Ishwari persuaded as she looked at Nisha pleadingly.

"Oh, come on Ishwari...by their open-romance, I am not surprised if Sonakshi is already pregnant!" Radharani scoffed as Nisha stared at her with horror.

Nisha was already petrified after the day Sonakshi claimed that she had consummated the marriage with Dev. Although part of her refused to believe Sona, she was unhappy with the fact that they were still in the same room. Also, being aware of how crazily Dev was in love with her, it was hard to believe that Dev kept himself under control.

"We can't let them come close... No..." Nisha panicked as Ishwari just pacified her.

Sonakshi and Dev entered the house as they saw the entire family having their dinner. Sonakshi immediately walked towards them and started to help Neha with serving the food. Ishwari cleared her throat before she spoke.

"Sonakshi beta...... Actually tomorrow, me and Radha and planning to fast for our husbands. It's a special fast for married women that we usually keep for ten days. We would like it if you join us as well. I know that you are just newly married but this fast is part of our family's tradition. Are you willing to give it a try?" Ishwari spoke as her voice dripped with fake sweetness.

However, for Sonakshi, that was the longest speech that Ishwari had ever spoke to Sonakshi ever since she got married to the house. Being a soft-hearted person, a small part of her was happy that Ishwari was trying to accept her. She felt like Ishwari considered Sonakshi a part of the family. So, she immediately grinned and nodded like an innocent child.

"Sure...no worries maa." Sonakshi said while Radharani and Nisha just grinned happily.

On the other hand, Dev was horrified at the scene unfolding in front of him. He wasn't against this fasting all the time but he was obviously aware of the fact that the women who were fasting, are strictly not allowed to be intimate with their spouses. This infuriated Dev to a greater extent. He was sure that Sonakshi wasn't aware of this fact as well. So, he decided to talk to his mum about it.

But before Dev could speak, Nisha diverted him with lots of question.

"Dev, so how was your outing with Sonakshi?" she asked as Dev was lost in his thoughts.

In the meantime, Ishwari brought Sonakshi to the kitchen and explained to her the terms and conditions of the fast.

"Sonakshi.... Actually this fast requires lots of patience. I know you are newly-weds, but this is the most important part. Don't get me wrong.... Actually, you are not supposed to have any kind of intimate relationship with your husband till the next 10 days. Although none of us are happy with your entry here, we are trying to accept you. So please prove yourself worthy." She trailed as Sonakshi's eyes widened.

This topic was totally embarrassing and she didn't expect this from her mother in-law.

For once, she thought that Ishwari changed but she kept proving her wrong. She knew that the best chance to prove Ishwari's truth to Dev would be by this fast. So, she smiled to herself and agreed to Ishwari's demands.

As Sonakshi proceeded towards her room she noticed Dev still engrossed in conversation with Nisha in the dining table. She mentally rolled her eyes and walked off.

After an hour of conversation with his mum, Dev came back to him room. He was too frustrated with his life. All he wanted now, was to run away and live in some deserted island with Sonakshi. He desperately needed his release and now he was so furious with Sonakshi's decision about the fast. Although he knew that she wasn't wrong, his mind was clouded in too much of anger. He decided to ignore Sonakshi for a day in order to prevent himself from hurting her unnecessarily.

As he sensed Sonakshi walking inside the room after a shower, he laid on the bed and turned to the opposite side. Sona knew that Dev was mad at her, but she didn't know how she was going to convince him either. She slowly walked to the bed and sat on her side.

"Dev..... we need to talk!" she said in a low tone.

"I am not in a mood for conversation" His voice came more serious than what she had expected.

"Dev, we just had a beautiful date today. You can't get angry on me like this at the end." she pouted.

"Fine. What do you want?" he sighed as he knew this argument was a useless one and he was over reacting for nothing.

"You promised me that you would listen to everything I say for two days, right? And yes... indeed you fulfilled the date! Can I ask you something else too?" she gulped as she was still facing his back.

"What?" he asked as he realized Sonakshi was silent for a long time. He turned behind and saw her in deep thinking.

"What's wrong? What do you want?" he asked again.

"Dev, Can I join my work again. Like tomorrow? Please?" She pleaded as Dev looked at her with confusion.

"What kind of a request is this? You have taken 2 weeks of leave right? Why do you want to go office so fast? I mean you can take the time and bond with my family members." he asked as his anger was slightly lacing in his voice.

"Dev please don't get angry. I just feel so bored. Most of the work are done by the servants. Your mum and mami are always busy in their own conversations. Neha also has college from tomorrow onwards. I also will feel too bored without you. By coming to work, at least I will be able to see you at there.... Please na!!!" she asked as she slowly moved towards him and gave him the most adorable face she could ever come up with.

"Sonakshi..."

"Please Dev...Don't say no!!!" she pleaded as he sighed and nodded.

"Ok fine........"

"OH MY GOD!!! Dev you are awesome!!!" she screamed as she jumped into his arms, making him fall on the bed with a thud, with her on top.

Dev just shook his head in disbelieve. He was amazed with the ways she expressed her happiness and love. She squealed and hugged him in happiness, still laying on top of him as he closed his eyes and breathed in harder. It was getting hard for him to control his desires, especially when she treated him like a cuddle bear. Why couldn't she just understand him? He groaned and moved her away.

"Okay...that's enough for today. Let's sleep!"

"What? But Dev.... I had promised you something." She trailed as he turned and faced her.

"What?" he asked as she came closer to him. Both of them were now facing each other.

"I promised you....those naughty acts back in the bike. Remember?" she asked as Dev's eyes widened. He wished he knew what was going on her mind because at times, she looked happy, sometimes she appeared gloomy and sad, the other times she was just seductive.

"So-Sonakshi......Y-you should go bbb-back to....." his voice was cut in between when Sonakshi's hands touched his hard chest, covered by the thin material of his t-shirt.

She slowly moved her hands up and down his chest causing his breathing to increase. He felt like he was running a marathon. She slowly moved his shirt and ran her hands over his abs, feeling each of his solid pecks. Dev was just staring at her intensely, trying to figure out what she was up to.

But Sonakshi was more curious about exploring his body. She dragged her palms painfully slowly as she heard his breathing becoming more erratic. When she reached towards his belt area, she felt him sucking in a sharp breath.

"Sonakshi....please don't.....you have to wake up early for your fast tomorrow...." he said as he tried to push her hands away. But Sonakshi's grip on him was stronger.

"Aww I know you are unhappy about the fast Dev. But I am not a mean wife. I know when my husband exactlyyyy needs me." she trailed as her palms started tracing his V-line.

"Fuck! That's it Sonakshi...You can't do this! Especially when I am frustrated...Oh crap!"

"Come on Dev. I am just helping you release your frustrations...." She said as her hands started decreasing to the south. She knew she was provoking him unnecessarily but she couldn't help it either. She was touchy and craved his attention on her. All she thought at that moment was about his happiness.

She didn't know where she gained that much of courage from but the past few days spent with Dev had made her extremely comfortable with him. Her movements stopped dangerously close to his manhood as she was extremely shy to go beyond that. She didn't want him to tease her later on!

'Gosh...what if he calls me a despo? ' she thought to herself.

Dev understood her dilemma and slowly held her hands with his large ones and moved it downwards to let her feel him fully. Sonakshi gulped down her fear and slowly palmed him through his sweatpants. She had never thought in her dreams, that she would experiment such wild things in her relationship. She felt awkward but slowly the feelings were replaced to being extremely turned on.

Dev rolled his eyes in pleasure as he gripped her palms harder to make sure she didn't stop her actions halfway. But Sonakshi's movements never ceased at all. She applied more pressure to her hold making Dev grunt loudly.

"Godd!! I.......hate....you soo much, Sonakshi... God, why are you torturing me like this?" he said in between his breathless voice. Sonakshi's thumb traced his hardness while her face moved closer to his, kissing his lips softly.

Sona was shy, yet she wanted this because she knew that Dev would never judge her for anything. The level of understanding they had was beyond words.

Sonakshi couldn't bring herself to look at Dev's eyes while Dev was just staring at her with love and passion.

"Eyes on me Sonakshi!" he said strictly as he held his chin firmly and tilted her head to see her face clearly. Her hands were still working their magic on his lower region while her eyes displayed hesitance and lack of confidence.

Sonakshi was not even sure whether she was doing it right or not. But the way Dev reacted encouraged her to go on.

"Oh..god! Sonakshi, please, just don't...don't stop!" he groaned. Her hands automatically increased its speed making Dev tighten his hold her more. The pleasure he was receiving was too much to bear but he didn't want their first time together to be like this. He wanted to stop her badly but Sonakshi was just too carried away with her work.

Before she could go further, his arms wrapped around her back and in one gentle pull and their body collided. She felt his hand in her hair, the way he caressed her soft tresses, watching it tumble as he released it. Then his hand moved down her cheekbones to her lips. That's when the kissing started. "Don't worry... Maybe going back to office would be a distraction! For both of us.." she giggled as Dev gave her a sly smile.
