"I don't like it when she touches you..." I told him honestly while his eyes widened.

Dev's POV

I couldn't believe what I just heard. People may think that I am mad or anything. But I just felt overwhelmed. She was jealous! Oh god... She was so adorable. Can't she just keep her cuteness to herself for a few more weeks? How was I going to deal with this bundle of love for so many days?

Her emotions were not easily hidden on her innocent face. Her pain was evident in the crease of her lovely brow and the down-curve of her full lips. But her eyes, her eyes showed her soul. She was clearly restless. It pained me to think that she was hurt that I gave more priority to Nisha. She was never jealous over anyone before. Why now?

I clearly had more girlfriends in college and I had been closer with all of them more than Nisha. I couldn't understand why she was disturbed by the presence of Nisha now. I mean come on! Seriously Nisha?

I was still gaping at her when she started fidgeting under my hold while her chest was rising and falling, indicating that she was breathing heavily. I held her hands softly and pulled her closer to me. I could feel her heartbeats racing as she looked at me with nervousness.

"Are you jealous baby?" I asked her huskily as she shivered under my gaze. I smirked knowing the effect I had on her.

"No.... Not that.....urm...actually yea a bit" she stammered as she drew imaginary patterns on my arms. She looked so adorable at that moment that I just couldn't control my laughter any longer. I burst into laughter as her gaze slid to my face. I pulled her against my chest and rested my forehead against hers.

"You look sexy when you're jealous" I spoke and she gasped unbelievably.

"Dev?" she sighed as I placed a kiss on her forehead before gazing at her again.

"Listen..... Nisha and I have been close ever since we were kids. We share a great comfort zone darling. Those touches are nothing.......... I am sure you know that only your touch has that kind of effect on me" I whispered as I felt her blushing furiously.

"But I am going to miss you. You are going to work with her all the time. You won't even have time to see me. I am going to sit alone and sulk there." she bit her lip as I growled. She has to stop biting before I lose my control and kiss her senselessly. How could she think I was going to ignore her? Wait...when did she start feeling insecure?

"Don't do that again....Sonakshi" I paused as I released her lower lips from her teeth and looked at her.

"Let me tell you.... I have given you your own room! Your own cabin sweetheart. I know it will be difficult for a few days but trust me, sooner or later this decision has to be taken. Being the CEO, I can't ignore my own rules, right? Moreover, don't think I would ever leave you alone in your cabin. Wherever you are, you are completely mine...." I said the last few words softly as she slowly shifted from her place and hugged me.

"I am going to miss you..." she spoke against my chest as I loved the feeling of her cuddling me. She was never like this. I had noticed some changes in her the past few days. She loved cuddling on to me and wanted me to be close to her all the time. She held me securely, as if like she was going to lose me. I could feel her fear and pain through her hugs. I wanted nothing more but to ensure her that I was going to be with her.

She was never so open in the past. I actually admired how she managed to open up to me bravely about the fact that she was jealous about Nisha. I am glad she did that instead of keeping it inside her. I hated those times when she couldn't tell me how she felt. There were times when she felt uncomfortable for sharing even little things with me. But now, things were changing....

"I am going to miss you more..." I replied as she looked at me with so much of admiration in her eyes.

Something that I have always wanted to see from her. It gave me so much of pride to think that those looks only belonged to me. I knew that my decision was sudden and stupid but I had to do it today or tomorrow. I couldn't lie and say that I was ok with this decision. I obviously missed Sonakshi like hell. I missed her being near me. I missed looking at her beautiful face which just gave me relaxation from all my problems and most of all, I missed her as my PA.

She nodded in understanding and muttered a small sorry. But before she got up, I pulled her back and whispered,

"Sona, just remember. You don't have to be insecure or jealous because I am only yours! All yours..." I said as she gulped and slowly nodded at me.

A deep curve made way on her lips which made my world stop around her. She snuggled closer to me until her lips touched my ears.

"And...I am all yours" she whispered making me feel like the luckiest person on earth.

Before she could move away, I held her tightly and clutched her legs in a position where she was now straddling me on the couch while my back was rested against the soft cushions. I placed a soft kiss behind her earlobe as I felt Sonakshi shivering with my touch. By now, I figured out her sweet spots as her toes would curl up every time I kissed her behind her ears.

Just when I was about to pull her for another kiss, the door flung opened, bringing us back from our romantic moment. The person at the door, was none other than my 'awesome' cousin, Nisha. For the first time, I cursed Nisha for coming in at the wrong time. We were still seated in a compromising position while I felt Nisha's eyes widening at our position.

Sonakshi quickly removed herself from me as her face looked flushed from embarrassment. She adjusted her clothes while Nisha lowered her eyes to the ground.

"I am...sorry....I ...should have.....urm...knocked.." Nisha stammered while I just rolled my eyes.

"Yes! You should have knocked!" I replied curtly as Sonakshi glared at me.

I knew it was kind of mean but Sonakshi had the power to knock me off from my senses at times. I looked for Jatin but he wasn't beside Nisha this time. Where the hell did he go?

"Dev...sorry for interrupting you guys... Jatin just showed me the whole office. I just wanted to know bit more about the files and stuff... Where should I look for them?" Nisha asked as I looked at Sonakshi and smiled at her.

"Sonakshi...do you want to help and show Nisha how the files are arranged and where it is..." I asked hesitantly as she just smiled and nodded at me. I just wanted their relationship to get better over time. Their first meeting may not be the best. But after all, I can't just see them hating each other. They were both so close to me and I tried my best to create a friendly bond between them.

Sona's POV

I knew Dev's intentions were good but I just felt like kicking him at the moment. How could he leave me with Nisha? Out of all the people, Nisha? God... Only if he knew how much I hated her! I wanted her to just disappear from my life.

I walked in the front leading the way to the room where the important files were kept while Nisha followed behind. Once we were in the archiving room, I felt someone tugging me harshly to the side. I fell harshly on the wall in the side. My back hit the wall roughly with a thud sound.

When I gained my composure, I looked back and found Nisha with an evil grin.

"What did you think? You could easily steal a few seconds from Dev and make me jealous?" she said and laughed like an evil witch.

"Excuse me! Mind your own business Nisha... I am helping you just because you are Dev's cousin! Dare you touch me again.... I swear I will kill you" I said as pain seared through my back. The way my back collided on the wall made my entire body struck with nervousness. How dare she? She had no rights to hurt me physically. All this while, I tolerated all her verbal assaults but now, this was too much!

"Kill me? Are you serious? I asked you to move away from my path didn't I? Did you listen? You know what? Your countdown has already begun dear Sonakshi Bose.....every minute from now, you are just going to face tortures. Nothing else...and nobody would be there to help you! Got it?" she said as her hands came near my throat. I flinched at her touch as she pushed me again and walked away.

I fell again. Fell flat on my back again. Damn that women was strong! There is a stake being hammered into my lower back, the strikes radiating pain in a way that shatters my brain. Or at least that's what it felt like.

I was completely shocked. Even my parents haven't raised their hands on me like this. I felt abused. I felt so weak like a coward. What could I have done? Pushed her back or beaten her the same way? I didn't know whether I had that much of courage or strength in me. I just sat down on the floor defeated when I heard footsteps nearing the room.

I was scared of someone seeing me sitting like a helpless soul. I tried to get up but winced when my back stung. The door finally opened as I saw Jatin walking in. He gasped as he saw me on the floor.

"Oh my god! Sona what's wrong?" he said as he offered me his hand. Instead I just looked down with embarrassment and gulped.

He cupped my cheeks and made me look into his eyes.

"Sona....what happened? Are you ok? Do you want me to call Dev?" he panicked.

"No Jatin... My back hurts. Could you just help me?" I said in a weak voice trying to swallow my pain. He gave me a worried look and gently pulled me up.

Slowly I tried getting up from the corner, holding on to the walls for support. My body felt as if I had been bruised in every corner. But the worse was my back. My legs felt shaky and could not support my body. I placed my hands on the wall and arched my back as the pain was rushing through my body like an igniting fire. My eyes squeezed closed as my face contorted. Never had I ever experienced such pain in my life. Jatin made me walk slowly outside, heading towards his cabin.

Luckily there were no employees around the area we walked, or else I would have to listen to another set of rumours in the office the next day. Once we settled down on his cabin, I closed my eyes and held his hands as he hugged me back, assuring me that everything would be ok.

"You are telling me everything right now!" he told me sternly as I nodded and started to narrate everything to him.

After narrating the whole story to Jatin, he looked at me furiously.

"Have you gone mad? This much has happened and you are still........ How dare she? I was showing her around the office when she suddenly disappeared. When I came looking for her, she wasn't in Dev's cabin as well. That's why I came looking for her in that archiving room. This is freaking too much Sonakshi! I will not leave her.... " he roared and stood up to inform Dev.

I was totally confused to whether I should inform Dev or not. But Jatin was hell bent on letting Dev know. He just dragged me to Dev's cabin without giving me any time to think.

When we reached Dev's cabin, Dev wasn't there anymore. Everyone else was working. So where else could he have gone? His cabin was empty. Nisha was also not there. The fear sat on me like a pillow over my mouth and nose. Enough air gets by it, allowing my body to keep functioning, but it's crippling at the same time.

"Jatin...I have a feeling that something bad has happened. Dev doesn't leave anywhere at this time...." I trailed as Jatin was already busy dialling his number in the phone.

But before Jatin could dial finish, his phone rang. He looked at me for a second before answering the call.

"Dev......... Yes... WHAT?? Are you serious? What? No...oh my...ok I am coming." He said as he cut the call.

Colour drained from his face as he looked at me helplessly. I looked at him with pleading eyes, expecting him to tell me something positive. But all he had was a scary look.

"We need to go right now....." he said as my eyes widened.

What happened?
