It was early morning and Sonakshi was still not done with her breakfast. Elena was angry at her sister for being late as usual. This was the normal routine in the Bose house. Sonakshi is a simple and a passionate girl who worked a normal eight to five p.m. job. Ever since she started working, things have been great for her.

She had helped to pay of her father's hospitalisation bills, sister's school bills and many other major household expenses. Coming from a middle-class family, Sona has always worked hard to earn a good position in her company. At the same time, she managed to fulfil her duty at home as a good daughter and a responsible sister as well.

People around her always respected her for her kind and shy nature. She had never done anything for herself as it was always her family and sisters. She had always made them her priorities. However, no one knew how much she craved for someone to love and care for her, just like she did for everyone else. She wanted someone to listen to her, share her pain, laugh with her and someone who would open their arms for her to cry upon.

She wanted someone like him.....

Sona's POV

The first thing that caught my eye when I woke up today was "March 26", the ominous date. I immediately knew that today was a bad day. This day brought so many good and bad memories. I knew I should not be thinking about that particular incident. I just knew I should not, but I couldn't stop myself. It's not something that was under my control. It was a feeling that was unstoppable. But there was no other choice. I needed to be strong for the sake of my sister and beautiful family.

I knew Elena would find out my mood the moment she looked into my eyes. So, I smartly put on this fake-mask which I have been doing for all these days. Quickly finishing my shower, I wore the same blue dress which had been discarded inside the cupboard for years.

It was the same blue dress which was once my favourite. Every time I wore it, it reminded me of him. Three years ago, I craved to wear this dress for him, but today this dress was just another memory. A fading memory.

"Sonaaaaaaaa....can you please come down quickly??? I can't be waiting for you the whole day!!" Elena screamed, making me jump at my place.

"Ya, I am coming Ele.. Let me just get my scooter keys"

As I took my keys and rushed to the door, my parents were standing there giving me their usual blessings. After taking their blessings, I started my scooter with Elena and dropped her at her college. This was literally my daily routine.

The next stop was at Riya's house. I had to pick her up for work every morning.

Riya was a good friend that I found for myself in my company. She was someone who I could always trust and depend on. Although she joined the company later than me, she learnt the job extremely fast, impressing the hell out of everyone. She was truly a gem of a person. Picking her up, I drove the scooter as fast as I could. I didn't want to be late for work again.

When I was about to turn my scooter from a lane, there was a car which suddenly turned from a dead-end, shocking both me and Riya. Luckily I was fast enough to apply the brakes and stop ourselves from facing an accident. This car driver was so dead!!

I caught my breath and looked behind to check if Riya was fine. Thankfully we were saved at the right time. I faced the car with rage and waited for the driver to get out.

When the person stepped out of the car, my whole world froze.

It was the same honey brown eyes which once controlled my whole world.

He was back...

Well guys, I am back. There's lots of editing and stuff going around. Since this was my first book, I realised that I had a headache editing the mistakes in it. I can't believe I wrote such crappy lines 3 years ago. 😂

But to me, this will always be my best and favourite book. This holds a special place in my heart.

However, please bear with the slow updates. I will try my best to give fast updates.

Ps, this book will be the same story! But, I will have lesser chapters and I will delete unwanted, boring and lengthy portions. Some of the extremely short chapters, I will be joining it as one and making the story easier to access.
