Jenna placed the mug of coffee onto the kitchen table and looked at Cal's mother who was currently making breakfast.

"So, Cal's been talking about you a lot recently, he loves you, you know that right?" His mother says and Jenna smiles widely.

"Yeah, I know, I love him very much too," Jenna says and his mother looks over her shoulder and smiles.

Suddenly the front door swings open with a loud bang and a few mumbled swear words can be heard.

"Need help?" Jenna calls and Cal practically falls into the kitchen carrying 5 bags of shopping.

"No, I'm good," Cal says, hoisting the carrier bags of food onto the counter top.

"I did offer," Jenna laughs and Cal rolls his eyes, pulling off his coat and gloves.

"Its freezing out there, I mean, its even colder than it was when we took the dog out," Callum says and Jenna nods.

"Your mum was saying that you speak about me a lot," Jenna says, a smirk on her lips.

"Oh yeah, I'm always saying how annoying you are and how much I hate you," Callum says and Jenna chuckles.

"You most definitely do not, Callum Airey, all you do is talk about how brilliant she is," His mother says, winking at Jenna.

"I hate you both, my own mother, turning against me, this is why I don't have girlfriends often," Cal says and Jenna laughs even louder.

"You don't have girlfriends often because you're an idiot, Callum," Jenna says and Cal just rolls his eyes and unpacks all the shopping his bought.

After he'd finished he sits down beside Jenna and kisses her softly. She smiles and moves away when his mother brings over the breakfast.

"A full English for my favourite American," His mother says and Jenna gives her a wide smile.

"Thank you so much," She says and the front door goes again. Cal's mother answers and reveals Cal's sister.

Cal stands up and gives his sister a massive hug, and his sister comments on his choice of t-shirt.

"So, this must be Jenna?" His sister smiles.

"Hi, its lovely to finally meet you, Megan," Jenna says and she shakes Megan's hand.

"Cal's told me so much about you, its amazing to see you in person," Megan says and Jenna smiles.

"All good things I hope," Jenna says and Cal shrugs.

"Mostly," Cal says and Jenna rolls her eyes.

Cal's mother gets Megan a plateful of breakfast and then everyone starts eating- Megan asks Jenna a lot of questions about America and her work and stuff while Jenna asks about Cal as a child and a teenager. Cal just watches, glad to see his family and his girlfriend interacting so freely and nicely- he was happy they got along as many of his girlfriends found his sister to be pushy and questioning. His sister was 3 years younger than him, but was still very protective of her brother.

Eventually they finished their meal and Cal and Jenna retired to their bedroom where they decided to spend the day watching movies and chatting.

This is the penultimate chapter
the next chapter will be the LAST

i'm excited for it to end and also pretty sad, but I feel like Jenna and Cal's story has been told now, so the next chapter will be the last
