2018 was an interesting year, because as many of you recall the former half of it I completely left wattpad because of so many reasons that were affecting me and my life at the time. Over all those first 6 months were not the best way to start the year and I was in a downward spiral. But I managed to pull myself together and when I did I decided to return to something that brought me so much happiness. Wattpad!

When I first started this new book I had goals in mind, and those were to A. Improve my graphics to a standard I wanted, B. Improve my art, C. to make more content for you guys to learn from. I did 2 of those, I unfortunately missed out on C because this was a busy year. But I do hope to get some of that content out sometime!

But the latter half of 2018 has been really nice to me, my return was so much fun and I found so many friends and I do consider it my most impactful year for improvement (even though I was only active for half of it xp). And heck I even achieved my ultimate goal of being apart of an amazing group of people called the guild. Filled with the people who originally put me on this wondrous path I never would have been on otherwise.

So I'm going to share some of my favorite stuff I did this year (unfortunately being gone for 6 months means I don't have as much as others do)

My favorite general fantasy of the year:

I am so proud of my manipulation development in general, I feel like compared to where I was before I came back the improvement is stark and I am so proud that I was able to do that in 6 months. My lighting skills have improved a ton (even if I do feel like I rely to much on rim-lights sometimes). And my compositions have improved to be more dynamic and interesting to the eye.

So obviously I've been mainly working with models this year but my far and few object covers have been some of my favorites ever!

My favorite typography covers of the year:

I am also so proud of how I was able to develop my skills with text this year, its something I would have considered my weakness a year ago and now I consider it only a weakness sometimes xp. Sometimes I can do pretty cool stuff with text.

Favorite scifi covers of the year:

So scifi is what I have done the least of this year so its going to be a goal for in the future but the little I have done I do think my lighting improvements have greatly helped me with it overall.

My favorite light covers of the year:

So recently I've been getting a lot of comments about how I should go outside of fantasy/manipulation and explore lighter themes. I have take that to heart and it will be a goal of 2019 but in the meanwhile look at my favorites of light covers from the year. I am proud of the second The Prince's Sneakers cover!

Favorite photomanipulations of the year

I am so proud of the quality these are up to now, this is something that I really do thing I can make a full career out of now and I am really proud of the improvement on these!

TheImperfectLife: Emi you are somehow both my biggest critic and my biggest fan, I have no idea how you manage to be both. But I appreciate everything you say and I really do try to take everything you say to heart. I have so much respect for you and these last 7 months has made me adore you as a friend that I care so greatly about.

Azanthiel: Hollie oh my god I love you for how you never stop improving, both in the sense of your own skill but you never settle for me, you always push me farther and slap me back to my senses when I get to comfortable. You make me actually want to improve everything I do and what more could I ask for?

stiles24stilinskiXD: So when I came back I did not know you at all but suddenly you were my best stalker and you were such a great friend to have to ease myself back into this life.  Thanks friend!

-starless: We quickly made friends and I'm glad for it, you have so much loyalty and your one person I will always look up to just for the kind of person you are, you know who you are and know where your going and I'm sorta like proud as a friend for that

selkkiez: Lexie we haven't done much one on one talking but immediately when I saw you in resurrection I wanted to be your biggest fan. Everything you make is perfection and its still sorta feels like a fever dream that you said that you look up to me in some sense of the phrase. Thats something that I will never not appreciate because like everything you do is my own goals for what I want to do! So thank you for being a fan of me this year and being one of my new inspirations <3 PS. lets talk more!

EVERY YEAR IS A GOOD YEAR IF YOUR IN IT, I missed you so much when I left and I don't think I've been able to connect to someone on the Internet as much I have been able to do with you. Bre you are my best friend and I love you so much and meeting you is definitely on my bucket list.

mahana258: Working with you for the last 7 months has been so god dang fun, your one of the best people I know and you run the fae folk better then anyone else could. I appreciate so much that you do and you deserve only the best! And you're so talented in writing and designing!

corvums: You're such great person and your exactly what the guild needed xp, I haven't met anyone else who is as hard working as you are I just hope that you know your work doesn't go unappreciated!

theheraera: You're someone who I know I can always go to because you are just so understanding, your presence just improves my state of mind and for that I appreciate you ten fold!

VictoriaRobinson64: We haven been friends for how long? You and the rest of the people from either old or new wattpadians has impacted me greatly and I couldn't have asked for more supportive friends to come out of this site!
