"Was he hard cause of me?"... Nandini muttered those words recalling the scene trying hard not to think anymore but all her attempt showed no result.

She was sitting beside the lake which she found the day before yesterday...she wanted to relax a bit but even the soothing sound of moving water wasn't helping in anyway.

After they returned from the forest they weren't being normal around each other...all they do was ignore each others presence.

She was too lost in her deep thoughts that she didn't even noticed her friend approaching her from behind munching a apple as she walk nearer.

"How was your night?".... She asked throwing her hand over her friend's shoulder.

Her sudden movement made Nandini surprised as she back away a little losing her friend's contact.

"Chill it's me"...Navya spoke looking her friend being zoom out.

"Oh god you scared me"...she whined a little but later grabbing her hand pulling her closer.

"What about night?"... She questioned her.

"Like you being alone with your enemy or should I say alone with your crush".... The lady with an apple grinned as she was proud to asked this.

"Crush"...

Manik stared at her friend not able to believe at her word.

"Yes..I mean you like Nandini right?".... She raised her brows at his sudden change in voice.

"Who told you??...and I don't like her"....he sated looking at her face but slowly averting his gaze from her face.

"Oh maybe like is a small statement do you want me to say you love her"....her sudden outburst made Manik off guard he looked at Cabir who had calm expression on his face.

"Mukti"... He spoke.

The girl raised her shoulder at his friends response.

"I neither like her nor love her".... He stated with a pain in his heart he felt sad for telling a white lie.

His friend Cabir violently coughed at his sudden confession making everyone to eyes him.

"So Manik if you don't like or love him then you must don't mind her going out with Aryaman"... Mukti spoke out once again by courting the word love and like.

"Going out with Aryaman?"... Nandini imitated her friend's question not able to believe her ears.

"Yes what's wrong in that"... Navya who bit from her apple asked.

"What's right in that?"... Nandini raised her voice.

"Yah!! I really thinks he likes you and now that you stated you don't have any feelings towards Manik then why dont go out with him"... She took breath after finishing and glancing at her friend who now standing far away from her.

"I never felt that way for Aryaman"... She was still not over how her friend want her to go out on a date.

"Once you started going out and spending time with him you will start feeling that way".... Navya hid her grin as she watched her friend's face getting red as she could hit her with a nearby stone any time.

"But why?"... Mukti asked.

"Cause I dont think she feels for him".... Manik shuttered a bit.

"And how do you know?".... Mukti was full prepared she wasn't going to be easy today.

"I just know"....the boy now sounded annoyed.

"Well I can tell Aryaman likes her and I can see him being genuine"... She smirked as she saw the boy laying down in front of her grew shocked as he sat down jumping straight.

"How can you say that?"... His tone changed now to serious.

"He is my partner and we spend time together so gotta know"...she said playing with her fingers.

The didn't spoke there was silence....he bit his bottom lip trying to hold back his emotions.

"Say something"... Girl spoke throwing her apple away.

She was still quite...it wasn't that she didn't knew the answer..she knew but she was afraid of revealing it.

"I don't know but my answer is no"... She said looking at the lake.

"Maybe you can thi"....

"No my answer is final".... She said before her friend could finish her sentence.

That night was silent for both of them as none of them spoke. Every time their eyes met it made them to look away or made them feel uncomfortable.

They both had something on their mind but none choose to spoke as an unknown fear engulfed them..surrounded them.

Manik's eyes always darted towards her looking at her back just watching her....although he had lot to say but he choose to shut.

Nandini was no more in good condition cursing how she feel for him...maybe she can be his next target...and she was afraid cause maybe she was letting him win.

Both weren't able to sleep...thinking about each other...how their life changed in just few months.

Maybe this was time they both felt in a same way...

More in a love way.
