Chapter 16 - Day of "Fun"

THIRD POV

After talking with Dick and "him" giving the idea of "fun", Kori decided to take everyone to the Carnival that was happening tonight for some "team bonding" aka try to befriend Damian mission.

Y/N was wearing a grey hoodie that had the red bat symbol on it. That was one of first and only cloths that Y/N saw that had his symbol or just a common mistake in production.

Y/N was a little annoyed and embarrassed that He had to show everyone it, because it he basickly is wearing his own merch.

He went outside to his motorcycle, which was next to now Kori's car. Koru, Raven and Cayla were also outside, next to the car, waiting for the boys to show up.

When Y/N walked over to them, He saw that Cayla was wearing her own hoodie which had the Flash symbol on it. So when Cayla saw what Y/N was wearing she quoted to him "Suffer together" to which Y/N laughed a little.

So when boys and Damian came, everyone got in the car and Y/N got on his bike and they drove off towards the carnival.

Soon Kori and Y/N park their veichles in a parking lot which was little packed with civilians.

As Jaime was going to get out, He was hit by Damian, who took out his sword.

Blue Beetle: "Ahh! Dude, did you have to bring the sword?"

Jaime questioned him.

Damian: "Preparedness is a prerequisite for victory."

Damian scoffed.

Starfire: "The gear stays in the car, Damian. Tonight we are to enjoy some mandatory fun."

Kori grins getting out of the car as Raven gave her the look as she exited soon after followed by others.

Damian was hesitant on leaving a sword when Y/N walk over to the door.

Y/N: "Don't worry, I got us covered."

He whispered to him, not wanting for others to hear him because what he was saying was true because he has done something without them knowing.

Damian sighs and nods before leaving his weapon behind him as He gets out and follows Y/N.

Two of them walk to the entrance where Y/N get out some money from his pocket and pays for 2 tickets for Damian and him as they then join the others.

Starfire: "This is an opportunity for us to become more familiar with each other."

Kori informed smilling as she started to walk away.

Blue Beetle: "How much more familiar can we get? We've already seen Garfield lick himself."

Jaime muses out as others follow Kori.

Damian: "That's disgusting."

Damian blutered out as Y/N was confused which animal was Garfieled when he done that.

Y/N: "Wait, As a dog?"

Raven: "I wish."

Raven told him as Y/N shivered after hearing the answer.

First thing they did was the rode on the ferris wheel. In first cart were Jaime and Garfield, in second one Damian and Cayla and above them Y/N and Raven as cart came to stop as both of them looked around when they met their stares and looked at each other and then after 2 seconds, both looked away from each other, as both of their hearts were skipping a beat.

After the ride, they head to the shooting range where Garfield smirks as he shoots the fake gun at the moving ducks, knocking them down.

Once he was finnished and got some tickets he show it to Jaime.

BB: "Just call me Eagle Eyes."

Garfield grins as Jaime rolled his eyes and looked behind him to see a "test your might" game as he grinned at Garfield.

Jaime payed the person and spat on his hands before rubbing them together as he then picked, paused and glanced at Garfield who was giving him a challenged look, as Jaime gave one back.

For a split second, Jaime's shirt glowed red from his scarab as He smashed down the hammer, causing the bell to go up, bit to up as it came flying off.

As man working at it went for another bell, Y/N and Raven were watching from distance.

Y/N: "I guess nothing from that."

Y/N tells to Raven as he turns to her and pointed at the now broken game.

Raven gave him a bord look, but her eyes wide and she starts giggling as she puts a hand on her mouth.

Y/N: "What?

Y/N asked her confused to why is she giggling as Raven pointed with her hand behind him.

Y/N turned around and saw his hips and ass were enlarged due to the trick mirrow.

Y/N: "Huh?"

Y/N jumps in shock as Raven giggled.

Y/N: "World's greatest detective, my ass."

Y/N said as Raven walked over to him still giggling until Y/N smirks at her and points at something.

Raven stopped laughing and looked confused towards what Y/N was poiting and she saw another trick mirror which has enlarged her head.

As Y/N was smirking, she slapped his hand down. After wards, they moved to ring toss game. They watch Raven tossed the rings one by one, as she hits 2 landed rings on the bottles.

Damian glanced down at 6 rings in his hands as Y/N walked over to him with 10 rings, 5 in each hand, because he was more experinced in tossing. Starfire looked at them with smile.

Then both of them tossed all of their rings at bottles and all 16 rings land effortlessly on each bottle, on some bottles 2 or 3 rings each. Y/N looked backed at others as they stare in shock.

Cayla: "Really!? That was badass."

Cayla commented as Y/N shruged

Y/N: "We do that every day."

Y/N said as gave a Damian a fist as Damian accept it and they fist bump.

Soon they split again. Kori went with Jaime and Garfield, while Cayla has challenged Damian to guitar hero game saying "Come on, let's seee If you can beat me at this?" to which Damian responded quoting "You're on, West." with a grin as they ran towards it.

Y/N smiles at his little brother, finally accepting and having some fun. Some will say he's crazy for calling Damian a nice kid, but Y/N understands him better then anyone, even then Bruce.

Then he spots a little blonde girl/kid standing at the counter of toy Shop, staring at toy lightsaber,but it seems she hasn't any tickets left.

He walks over to it, as Raven follows him, wondering what is he doing.

He puts the tickets on counter and pointed at the lightsaber. Soon guy working in the shop handed him the lightsaber. Then Y/N turns to little girl looking at sword. He makes a little smile on his face and hands her the sword.

Y/N: "Here you go, kid."

Little girl smiles happily and takes the sword and Y/N and Raven watch her running over to her parents as she shows them a sword.

Raven smiles softly at Y/N because of what he did as she looks at him. But her smile dissapears when she sees Y/N having a sad face as he looks at the little family.

Unlike Dick, he was robbed from his parents at very young age, so he never got a chance to experience what was like to have a biological parents. He sighs in sadness as he puts his hands in his pockets and starts to walk away, as Raven looks at him with concern and empathy.

Later, Y/N was sitting at one of tables alone as he was drinking a juice He bought as he spinned his batarang in his hand. Then Raven walks to him with a cotton candy in her hand.

Raven: "Here, have some."

She offers him as he takes a small piece and ate's it as Raven sits next him.

Y/N: "That tastes like pure sugar."

Raven: "Boy, were you chasing criminals for a long time."

She jokes as she eats a cotton candy, but Y/N looks away and Raven sees it.

Raven: "It was a joke, I'm not criticizing."

Y/N: "I knew it was a joke and I don't like to hear them anymore, especialy of what happent."

He tells her as he then turns to her.

Y/N: "And if you knew how it felt, you wouldn't waste your time on me."

He tolds her which gives a Raven a thought.

Raven: "I guess neither of our lives are very funny. But I'll tell you something about yourself that not even you know."

She says before turning to him.

Raven: "You may be traumatized and fearless, but you may not realise it but in your heart, you are a kind, caring and generous soul."

She tells him which surprised Y/N as he looks at her. Then they hear a crowd gathering and saw Garfield and Jaime habing a dance off.

Raven and Y/N both walked over to Kori, Damian and Cayla who were already watching.

BB: "Boo-yah!"

Garfield announced happily as he won, as Jaime leaned on the rails in exhaustion.

BB: "Oh, looks like we found
something the bug can't do."

Garfield teased Jaime who walked down the platform.

BB: "Please, please, no autographs. I'm a busy man."

Garfield announced playfully to the crowd and went back to dancing as Jaime walked over to others.

Blue Beetle: "Free popcorn to anyone who can slay the beast."

Jaime stated, wanting to remove that smirk off his green friend.

Y/N: "I can do it."

Y/N announced with his arms crossed as everyone to stare at him with shock, expect Damian, who HAD the smirk on his face.

Raven: "You know how to dance?"

Raven asked him to which Y/N smiled a little.

Y/N: "I was trained by the best. The hint: It's not he this time."

He replied as he confidently walks up to the stage as Garfield sees a other challenger approuching him.

BB: "Hmm. All right."

He grins as Y/N walks to him and stare at each other, Y/N obiviously taller then Garfield.

BB: "Hope you're a good loser."

Garfield taunted to which Y/N smirked, amused by the his Garfield's understatement as they took their position while others  move place si they can have a better look.

"Dance!" The game announced as the dance stared between Y/N and Garfield. At first it seemed that Y/N has bad time, getting bad points but he wasn't stressed. He looked at Garfield who laughs at him, but that was the signal Y/N needed, because he wasn't dancing bad:  he was observing, as then Y/N started literally copying Garfield's moves in sync.

The Green teen was shocked as he stoped lauging and gave a serious look to Y/N as he concentrated on doind better than Y/N.

While they started dancing and scoring both perfect and awesome points, others were everything more then just surprised and shocked,well everything expect Damian who knew this would happen.

Blue Beetle: "Mira. Look at them go."

Jaime smiles, as he spoke in spanish to Raven who looked back to dancing as she smiled at the sight of Y/N dancing.

Woman: "Raven..."

But then she hears someone calling her name as she turns around and sees a woman, but she had totaly black demonic eyes.

Woman: "They're waiting for you."

She stated as she started to walk away. Raven had a bit concern and confused look as she glanced at Kori before going through crowds. When she get out she starts looking where did the woman go.

BOY: "On the hill, beyond the tent."

Then she turns around and sees a now a boy who now has those demonic eyes as he pointed behind Raven.

Raven stumbles backwards a little before turning around and seeing where she has to go as she puts an determined look and starta to run while others were unaware of what will happen.

Ferriss wheel is seen in background as Raven walks the hill, on high alert as she walks deeper in small forests where she comes to stop.

Demon#1: "Sister."

She turns and then sees a weird looking humanoid-demon figure with 4 red demonic eyes and 2 pairs of smaller horns and what looks like a grey hair on its head.

Demon#1: "He wants you."

He tells her as she turns around and sees 2 more of those figures looking at her.

Demon#2: "We've missed you, sister."

Raven: "It can't be him, it's a trick."

She says, denying a current situation to be real.

TRIGON: " If is me, child."

But then she hears a a other, deeper voice as she turns around and sees a red mist in shape of ghost and also with 4 red yes as it comes put the forest.

Raven: "How?"

Trigon: "Never leave unfinished what you start. You fled."

He tells her as he's now closer to her.

Raven: "I left. I had you."

She exclaimed, saying she beat him, but obviously that wasn't the case now.

Trigon: "Yet, here I am."

He tells her, obviously pointing the fact that she thought she imprisioned him, bit not good enough.

Raven: "If you were really here,
I'd smell your stink. You're still trapped. All you can send are these losers."

She explained as she pointed at 3 demons.

???: "That why he send me."

Another voice was heared as a red mist appeared from which a more like human shape demon appeared next to Trigon, but his head was totaly red with brighter 4 red eyes and his body danced between light and darker grey colours.

Raven: "Who are you?"

Raven asked shocked because she never saw a demon like that.

??? : "Unfortunately, my counterpart already is called by 4 names, so I call myself ALPHA."

He tells her as he raises his demonic hand with claws morphs into a human form.

Trigon: "I will be there. It's our destiny to be together, Raven, always. We're family."

Trigon continues as explains the detail of prophecy.

Trigon: "You can make that happen. You can bring me."

Raven: "I will fight you every step. You're an abomination."

Raven says with anger and hatred as she walks back but that totally angered Trigon.

Trigon: "Watch your talk, ungrateful girl."

Trigon yells as he morphs into four bih red eyes as 3 demons and Alpha attack Raven with red lightings as Raven is hit and falls on her knees and hands.

Trigon: "Look at yourself. Weak, lonely. Aligning with chattel."

She looks up but she's again hit.

Trigon: "It is beneath my contempt
and I will not have it. You will be a part of this, child. You wiil know the glory of Trigon."

As Raven is continued to be hit, we go back to dancing battle which ended by Y/N declared as winner who walks down as others walk up to him.

Blue Beetle: "Awesome, dude."

Jaime praises.

Starfire: "Yes, quite impressive."

Kori added as Cayla nodded.

Cayla: "You rocked!"

Cayla grinned as Damian chuckled as Y/N shruged.

Y/N: "What did I tell you? I learned from the best."

Y/N tells them but then looks at Garfield who walks over to them stumbling on his steps.

Starfire: "You were very good too, Garfield."

Kori supported defeated former champion.

BB: "Yeah, okay. Whatever."

Garfield pants tired as Y/N chuckles as he then glances around and noticed something.

Y/N: "Guys, where is Raven?"

He said aloud, as suddenly in that moment they heared screaming and a roar, followed by an explosion as they all look and see people running in fear.

Y/N POV

We noticed Raven being circled by 3 demons and someone like them but looked more like a human shaped... with same 4 red eyes that wizard had at yesterday attack, as She looked at us for help.

Starfire: "Raven! Titans, go!"

Kori called put, as I see her glow and her normal civillian clothes comes off and replaces her body with her hero suit.

Y/N: "Is that even possible?"

I thought with confused look, as I look at others. I see Garfield get on all fours as his clothes rip and he morphs into a green tiger, roaring. Jaime's scarab rips the back of his shirt as it then latched blue arms around his body, before black and blue armour covers his body from head to toe. I look at Cayla who smirked as she tooks off her flash hoodie, seeing that she had her Velocity suit underneath her normal clothes, as she pulls her head gear over the face and places her goggles.

Then they all rush to help Raven. I looked up Damian running away, knowing where's he headed as I follow him.

He runs over to Kori's car and start tugging the door handle, but it was locked as he stared inside at his sword.

Damian: "Damn it."

He comments as I groan in slight frustration.

Y/N: "Move!"

I tell Damian as I lightly push him to the side as I then used my elbow to break the window. Damian reaches to grab his sword as I walk over to my motorcycle.

Y/N: "Your and mine suits and gear are in the trunk."

I tell him as before we went, I secretly put it in trunk, because that is what I was trained by Bruce, as I open up the seat of my motorcycle and underneath it instead of normal motor helmet, it was my Red Hood helmet as I grab it.

Once we suit up, we quickly headed back inside carnival where we see Raven made a purple sheild around her and others as demons were firing their red lightings at it, as Raven's sheild was nearly to be broken down.

However, Damian and I threw OUR batarangs at demon. Then I throw my pocket explosives and Damian his mini balls explosives at other 2 demons and then I walked over to human looking one, taking my pistol out and shooting him straight into head from behind, causing it to fall down and explodes into mist.

Red Hood: "Please tell me they're undead or Batman gonna kill me for letting Damian undo his no killing rule."

I state as Raven lowers the purple sheild down as she looks at me.

Raven: "Yes, but you can't stop them like that. They're like batteries."

She tells me as we then look over to see the 3 demons resurrecting themselves, like she said.

Starfire: "Then let's run them down."

Kori determinedly called out as she and Raven float up and Kori shot put her bolts a one of demons who then attacked them.

Damian and Jaime battle the other demon, while Garfield and Cayla deal with last one.

I was going to help Cayla and Garfield, but then I see red lighting coming at me as I dodge in last second as I rolled on the ground. I turn around and see that human looking demon who has attacked me.

Alpha: "Look who decided to join the losers. Y/N Peter Todd."

I widen eyes in shock. Not many people know my full birth name.

Y/N: "What? How do you know that!?"

I yell as I got up and stand into fighting stance.

Alpha: "Let's say we know each other... intimately, and not at all."

He says before he shots an lighting at me, but I dodge it as I throw batarangs at him which he blocked, but they explode, creating smoke as I run at him and we hit each other into a headlock.

Alpha: "Not your best performance."

Red Hood: "But you're still missing."

Then I plant a pocket explosive on his chest as he's sended flying on the ground as I walk up to him anf point a my pistols at him.

Red Hood: "You would be wised to surrender."

Alpha: "Eh, wrong place at wrong time."

He chuckled before he turned into mist and dissappeared. Then I hear a loud noise as I turn around and see that Raven has turned into big Raven form as she rushed at demon and destroyed him as she reverts into her human form and hides her her face with her hood because she also has 4 red eyes as she start to fly down as I ran up to Kori and help her get up as others come to us.

BB: "Whoo! Yeah, we kicked demon boot-ay. Yeah, baby."

Garfield exclaims giving Jaime a playful punch on the air before moving to Damian and holding his hands up high.

BB: "Up top!"

Garfield smiled as Damian has confused and unimpressed look.

BB: "Hit me."

Garfield adds bringing his hands lower to Damian to reach, but Damian just stared at him.

Robin: "Mmm."

Damian grumbled as we then look up at Raven who floats down. She looks at us, but looks away shyly.

Starfire: "Robin and Y/N said I didn't know enough about you. I think they were right. You told me you didn't have a father."

Kori spoke as we all walk close to Raven.

Raven: "What I said is that he's gone."

Raven told us, but that didn't make sence.

Red Hood: "That's not the same as dead."

I said but she turned around.

Raven: "He's dead to me!"

She exclaimed in annoyance.

Robin: "Would you say that about Todd, too?"

Damian scoffed at Raven as I groan at his attitude as I see Raven lower her head more down as she holds her hand.

Cayla: "So, why is he trying to kill you?"

Cayla quizzes as Raven sighs.

Raven: "He's not trying to kill me. It's much worse."

Raven informed as she raises her hand. Suddenly a black and purple hole engulfed us all as it was pitch black as we were begin teleported from carnival.
