Chapter 13 - Robin Problem

THIRD POV

Y/N just moved back to Wayne Manor. As Alfred was bringing his stuff, which wasn't much, Y/N went on the second floor. He walks down the hall where the sleeping rooms were and stops at the room which doors where open. The room was clean up as lights shined in through windows. But on the doors was a sign on which was written "Y/N".

Y/N: "My old room."

Y/N thought as he stayed at the doors, his gaze turns to the big bed in the room as he gets the flashback of younger self, laying in that bad at night.

Y/N: "I can still remember that first night... Could barely sleep."

Y/N then walks to the bed and sits on it, looking over his shoulder at younger self, with eyes wide open, his head on the pillow which he hold with his left hand, unable to sleep, dressed up in the cloths Bruce gave him, so he doesn't have to wear his ripped ones.

Y/N: "Who could blame you?"

Y/N: "No!"

Y/N said while sleeping in the bed, as he twicted in bed, having a nightmare.

Y/N: "Ungh... Hmmphh!"

He groaned as he jumped in bed awake.

Y/N: "Aaah!"

Y/N breath put as he was awake, but he was in his Robin suit now as darkness surrounds his view.

Y/N looks down at his hands, seeing his gloves and then that he wears his Robin suit.

HeH HeH Heh

Y/N: "Who's there!?"

Y/N shouts as he now steps back, not sitting in bed anymore, as darkness infront of him turns red.

Ha Ha Ha HaHaHaHa HaHaHaHa

The evil laughter is heared as the glimpse of figure's body stands out in the red mist as Y/N gets scared, not even his domino mask can't hide the fear on his face.

Oh birdboy. You know who I am. And let me tell you right from the start...

Figure says as it raises the crowbar and swings it at Y/N.

As the crowbar collides with Y/N face, everything turns to black.

Y/N opens his eyes as he stands awake from sleeping. His breathing was fast, as he was sweating. He looks around. He sees nobody was in the room, just him. He starts to calm down as he moves to sit on the edge of his bed, his head laying in his hands.

It happened again. He got a PTSD while sleeping. It was like that since he came back to life. No wonder he didn't sleep at all or never, just so he doesn't have to experience it.

He lifts his head as he looks straight. On his night stand was a clock which read 2:56 am, but he wasn't looking at the clock, he was staring at his Red Hood helmet.

He stares it for few seconds before getting up and grabbing the helmet.

He dresses up into his suit and walks out the room. He walks the hallway before coming to the big window. Hr opens it and walks through. He jumps as he fires the grappling gun and swings down and heads towards the city, to clear his mind.

He swings and runs on the rooftops as hr reach the place He was heading too. He walks to the edge with one gargoyle, his favourite gargoyle. He sits next to it as he looks down at his hands. He sighs under his helmet as he looks up at the city. He stares at the streats before he notices something on one of the roofs. He can see a smile figure, wearing a cape, sitting on the roof as it's hood was down. It was Damian in his Robin suit, but he wasn't his usual self.

Damian stares at the streets as Y/N comes landing behind him. Damian turns his head as they both look at each other. Y/N could see tears Rolling down Damian's cheeks as he wasn't wearing his domino mask. They stare at each other for few more se onda before Damian quickly turns his heads away from him, looking back at the streets.

Y/N stares at Damian as he takes off his helmet. Damian stares down as tears roll down his cheeks, not noticing Y/N raising his hands behind him. Then Y/N place down his helmet onto Damian's head. Damian turns around towards Y/N in pissed position as Y/N stays calm and not moving his head from position he put the helmet.

After few se onda, Damian turns his gaze back to the city, as Y/N moves and sits next to him. They sit there without saying a word in silence.

Y/N moves his hand into the pocket on his jacket before grabbing something out and raising it to Damian. Damian turns towards Y/N and sees that Y/N was offering him... a orange fidget spinner.

Damian reluctantly accept it as he takes it into his hands. He doesn't understand what this is as he stare at it, as Y/N takes another fidget spinner, which was now red colour and start to spin it. Damian looks at how Y/N spins the spinner as he now start to do the same thing. They don't exchanged any words as they sit there in the night, spinning the fidget spinners.

Damian and Bruce just had an argument which resulted in Damian stroming the stairs out of batcave while Bruce put his cowl down and walk to batmobile.

Y/N was sitting on the coach in the living room, reading the book. Then Damian came in and jump onto the coach next to Y/N, crossing his hands while removing his domino mask, having a annoyed and little sadden face as Y/N looks at him.

Y/N gets closer to him, as he puts one of his arms around Damian and moves the book closer so they both can read. Oh and what book are they reading? They're reading:

Reporter: "This is Angela Chen reporting live from the site of a massive battle between the Justice League and a group of what can only be described as super-villains calling themselves the Legion of Doom. Reports state that earlier, the Legion launched a surprise attack on the League at the unveiling of their new headquarters, dubbed by many on social media as the Hall of Justice."

Reporter says as helicopter flies above the battle in Matropolis. Every hero was fitgting their something like even villan, so Batman and Red Hood were fighting Solomond Grundy as they were dodging his smashing.

Grundy: "Grundy smash!"

Grundy yells as he chases down Batman and Red Hood into alley.

Batman and Red Hood run to the end, but they turn and jump in time over Grundy, who smashed straight into electric box. He screams from electrifing as Batman and Red Hood watch when explosion happens.

Grundy comes from smoke as Red Hood and Batman prepare to fight.

Grundy: "Grundy sleep now."

But Grundy then soon falls down on the ground infront of their feet.

Red Hood: "Well that worked."

Batman: "Robin, report. How's crowd control?"

Civilians run on the street when a batarang is throwen infront of them and explodes in smoke.

Civilian: "Huh?"

They look up towards the building and see Robin leaning on the window. Robin raises his hand, pointing to Civilians where to go, as Civilians do just that as they ran the way Robin showed them as he turns on his com.

Robin: "Well at hand, Father. As predicted, they respond like contemptible sheep."

Red Hood: "Pfttt Hahahaha."

Robin responded as Batman made his annoyed Batman look as Red Hood laughed at the choice of words from Robin.

Later, the heros regrouped up after defeating the villans near the Cyborg who just defeated Toy Master.

Cyborg: "Good work, team. Too bad Shazam and Lantern had to miss the fun."

Flash: "Yeah. Slackers."

As they celibrate, Red Hood notices that the Wizard has got up and tries to ran away.

Red Hood: "Emm, guys. We got a runner."

Wizards rans until he steps into shadow, which moves infront of Wizard as the black wall, in which 4 big red eyes appear. Wizard scream as the black shadow goes into his mouth

Flash: "Come on, Wizard, don't make me hit you again."

Flash comes chasing him but notices him standing infront of him, very oddly and calmly.

Flash: "Uh. Wiz?"

Wizard then turns to Flash, his skin now grey as he has now 4 red yes on his face.

Wizard: "Azarath calls, the child must answer. The hour of his rising is at hand."

He says in demonic tone as he free himself from the handcuffs and start to rise up into the air.

Flash: "Oh, boy.

Flash says a little surprised as Superman comes to him.

Superman: "I've got this."

Robin was now on the street checking over the civilians on the street, totaly annoyed. Then he hears a loud smash and windows smashing as Superman was sended flying towards Robin, but Robin rolled out of the way before it could have hit him. Superman gets up groaning. He raises his hand and check on his nose as he sees blood on his finger.

Superman: "Hmm, what the hell did he hit me with?"

Flash: "Himself, apparently."

Flash stated as he holed Wizard's stuff over the coms as sky turns red and red tornados start to appear, caused by Wizard. (On drugs lol)

Red Hood: "He's not using any tech."

Red Hood states as he knows Wizard doesn't have any superpowers, unless he has the stuff in his hands.

WW: "It's magic."

Wonder Woman says as they all got moving, as Red Hood and Batman shoot their grappling guns.

Wonder Woman flies towards Wizard with hers lasso of truth, but Wizard shoots the red like lighting at her as she collides into Cyborg.

On ground, Flash with his super speed saves civilians from red tornados on the street.

Cars goes to hit two civilians, but Red Hood and Batman come grappling towards them and moving them out of the way, as Superman grabs the car.

Superman: "Get them to safety. I'll keep him distracted."

Superman states as he flies towards Wizard, as Wizard shoots ice spikes at Superman, but Superman is blocking them with car as he hits the Wizard.

Superman goes then to punch Wizard towards the sea. Superman goes to hit him again, but Wizard defend himself with his powers as Superman falls down into the sea.

Wizard then creates a big red circle over the sea.

Red Hood: "Uh, that doesn't look good."

Batman: "Robin, get all civilians inside, do you read me?"

Batman tells over the coms as him and Red Hood now see a big red circle over the sea.

Robin: "I have a more efficient way
to keep them safe, Father."

Robin says on the roof as Batwing comes behind and he gets in.

Batman: "Robin? Robin, I gave you a task."

Robin: "Yes, as a human cattle prod.
I'm being under-utilized."

Robin presses a butzon as hatch closes and Batwing flies into air.

Batman: "What's your location?"

Robin: "Where I need to be. In the driver's seat. Between the missile and fuel cell detonations, I'd estimate at least a three kiloton hit."

Robin says as he presses all buttons as all possible fire power of Batwing appeares as Robin locks the aim on the Wizard.

Robin:" Target locked."

Red Hood: "Damian, stand down."

Red Hood says concered as Batman and him see as Batwing flies over them, going straight at Wizard.

Robin: "Too late now."

Robin then presses the seat ejection button, as he exit the plane. Superman goes to atrack, but his pushed back, then Batwing flies over him. Wizard is confused as Batwing crashes i to him, creating a huge explosion over the sea.

As smoke clears as Wizard goes falling down, but Wonder Woman catches him with the lasso.

WW: "Stand down! The lasso compels you to obey my command!"

She oreders as She pulls Wizard towards to her. Wizard fights, but then the shadow exits from his mouth and dissapears as WW lands Wizard down as everyone comes around him.

Wizard: "What happened?"

Wizards asks, groaning as he seats down.

Superman: "He doesn't know."

Superman says as Robin comes landing behind them with a parachute.

Robin: "I thought that would knock
the fight out of him."

Damian says grinning as they walk over, as Batman and Red Hood walk up to him, not saying a word as Batman gives him a frustrated look under his cowl.

Robin: "What? We got him, didn't we!"

Robin challenged.

Batman: "What we have is an empty shell with no answers."

Batman says as he points towards wizard.

Batman: "If you had followed orders and done what you're told, we'd know more."

Batman stated as Red Hood has his head down and hands on his hips, tired of all of their arguements over the time as Superman comes behind Robin.

Superman: "Come on, cut him some slack. At least, he was trying to - -"

Superman goes to defend young hero but Batman and Red Hood, who has lifted his head, give him a bat glare which quickly shuts up the man of steel.

Superman: "Not that I disagree."

Robin: "You buried me in a worthless position to keep me out of the way. And I solved the entire problem."

Damian hissed.

Batman: "This isn't about you. It's about teamwork."

Batman growled as Red Hood can swear he can hear Batman's blood boiling.

Robin: "All I see is a lot of ineffectual grandstanding. Which is why I prefer to work alone or with Y/N."

Red Hood: "Huh, I thought he liked to work with Dick more."

Red Hood thought as Cyborg and Flash walk behind them.

Cyborg: "And my dad thinks I'm difficult."

Cyborg chuckled in amusement, but Batman just looked at him and he silenced down.

Flash: "Have you ever considered boarding school?"

Flash asks as Batman and Red Hood had the urge to laugh but they kept their cool.

Red Hood: "Oh, yes, he has thought of sending him to Switzerland."

Red Hood thought to himself as he smirks under his helmet. Batman turns to Flash and gave him more stren glare to make him also quiet as Flash flinches scared.

Batman returns his look at Robin to which Robin narrows his eyes in response as Red Hood just sighed, putting his hands on his hips.

[TIMESKIP]

Y/N POV

I was currently in the batcave. Since what happened yesterday, Damian was scrowling in his room since Batman told him that he was going to a place for teamwork which was of course the Titans Tower. When I heared this, I was very anxious, recalling some of my days there.

I was currently training when I see Dick approuching me.

Dick: "So, I heared Damian went for a little joyride in the batplane."

Dick grinned as he walked over to me as I stop to train.

Y/N: "Yeah, he did."

I said as I drank the bottle of water.

Dick: "So, Bruce told me he is sending Damian to the Titans?"

Y/N: "You heared right."

Dick: "So, are you joining too?"

Dick asked me as I sighed.

Y/N: "No, I'm not."

Dick: "What, why not?"

Dick asked me suprised, but before I could respond, Bruce walked in.

Bruce: "Good news, you are joing the titans, Y/N."

Bruce says as I got shocked by his statement.

Y/N: "What!?"

Dick: "Well I'm glad to hear that."

Dick says happyly, but I wasn't as I walked over to Bruce.

Y/N: "No, no no. This is a bad idea."

Dick: "Why?"

Dick asked confused.

Y/N: "I was always a lone wolf type since I lived on the streets and after my death, I don't think me joing the t - -"

Bruce: "Y/N!"

Bruce says as he place his hand on my shoulder as I look him up i to his face.

Bruce: "What is it bothering you?"

He asks me calmly. I sigh.

Y/N: "Even after I joined back with you, people are still critizing me, they hate me... a-and I don't t-think Titans want somebody l-like me on the t-team."

I say, nearly tearing up. It's true, nobody likes me or the Red Hood because of my actions in the past and still that I kill even now.

Bruce: "Y/N, you're wrong. Every team would like have someone like you."

Bruce states as I look at him.

Bruce: "You are one of strongest people I know. After all you went through, you never gave up. Are you a man I wanted you to become? Not even close. But I've realized, you're exactly who I need."

Bruce smiles at me, as a single tear roll down over my scar as I gave him a small smile back.

Dick: "Bruce right. Maybe this time Titans could use two non-powered People now."

Dick says as I get confused.

Y/N: "Wait, there's no one on team without powers?"

I asked.

Dick: "Yes, everyone has powers. And Kori is the leader."

Y/N: "Wait, she's still there and she's a leader!?"

Dick: "Yeess. What about it?"

Y/N: "It's never a good idea to not  have a normal human on the team and have especially a alien leading the team."

I state as I look at Bruce, reffering to him in the League, as he smiles.

Bruce: "I can agree on that."

Dick: "But, but, we can trust. She - -"

Dick goes to argue but Bruce and I just gave him a glare as he shuts up.

Dick: "Okay. Maybe your right..."

He sheepishly says.

Y/N: "Well, I might start packing up. "

Bruce: "Don't forget you will be also baby sitting Damian."

I stop as I widen my eyes at the realization of that, as Bruce and Dick lauged at the look on my face.

Y/N: "I hope he doesn't kill anyone."

So my school won't be online anymore and I have few test coming up so I might not write as much, but I'll try.

I'm saying this because there are some People out there who ask me to update this book, which I keen to, but they ask like 2-3 days after I updated it, which is starting to occur more often and annoying.

People who never writen a book in the way I do, I want you to know I Don't have super speed, some things take time.

Considering I'm just a Teen, turned 16 not to long ago and that english isnt my mother language and all other stuff i have to check, I am very patient person and So i want you to be patient too.

If you cant be patient, just try and If you fail, atleast you tried and I Will respect that, because nobody is perfect, just like Red Hood 😉

Anyway, in next Chapter, we are going to the promised land, a Jerusal - - I mean the Titans Tower.
