Chapter 1: Dark Hood (Part I)

Port of Seattle

"Oi, c'mon Jackie, the boss wants these kids shipped to Serbia before noon!"

"Yeah, yeah, I got it."

Masked men pointed guns at the children, forcing them onto a boat. "Quit crying so loud, you damn brats!" one of the masked men shouted. As they attempted to swing their rifle at one of the kids, a hooded man jumped on top of the masked gunman, knocking him out, causing the other four men to notice.

"Open fi-" the hooded vigilante knocked the gun out of the man's hand and threw it at the other crook's head. The vigilante threw a small sphere as it sprayed out smoke. "What the hell!" The sounds of gunfire and grunts of pain were echoing through the port.

As the smoke cleared, the masked men were on the ground, and the hooded man was gone. The children shook in fear until they heard the sounds of police sirens.

10:00pm

A maid was preparing coffee in a kitchen. After grabbing the coffee, she turned around and saw a man wearing a cowboy hat. The maid shrieked, almost spilling the coffee on him. The man raised his hands defensively.

"S-Sorry, Claudia." He apologized. The maid stood up straight, catching her breath.

"You scared me, Master Bang. You should use the door, instead of teleporting here." She said, trying not to sound too loud.

The man, now known as Bang, scratched the back of his head and laughed nervously. "Hehe... my bad..." he apologized once more. "Do you know where my brother is?"

"Oh, Master Cardo is probably in his room still," Claudia answered. Bang sighs, and nodded at her in thanks. He teleported out of the kitchen and into a bedroom.

Bang stared at his brother Cardo who was under the bedsheets, he sighed and walked towards the curtain. "You should get up, brother," Bang said. Cardo just groaned. Bang sighed and opened the curtains and yanked the bedsheets off of him. The light shined at Cardo.

"Gah! What the hell!?" Cardo shouted.

Bang rolled his eyes at him. "Were you out last night again?" He questioned.

Cardo stood up from his bed and walked towards his closet. "Yes. Is that a problem?" Cardo asked.

Bang shook his head. "Bro, I understand that you want to clean this city from crime, but can you at least take a break?" Bang asked.

Cardo sighs, "Dark Hood never takes breaks." He stated. Bang narrowed his eyes.

"I only go out at night, so you don't need to worry about anything," Cardo said as he changed into casual clothing.

"I know I might sound like a mom, but you need sleep," Bang advised.

"I trained myself to need at least five hours of sleep," Cardo replied.

Cardo walked towards the door, opening it. "One more thing." Bang continued, as Cardo turned around to face his brother. "Try being more of the 'billionaire kid' everyone thinks you are."

Cardo rolled his eyes. "You should leave before more agents come to the house again." he sighed as he got up and exited the bedroom.

At a Café Restaurant

"It's great to see you again, Cardo." Said a red-headed girl who sat across from Cardo. Cardo smiles at her

"Same with you, Ashley." He sipped his coffee.

"So, how's it been with the company?" She asked. Cardo shrugged at her question.

"Same old stuff." He replied.

Cardo's phone started ringing. He gets up from his seat to pick it up. "I need to take this." Ashley nodded before he walked out of the café to answer the call.

Cardo answered the phone.

Cardo: Hello?

Claudia: Hello, Master Ricardo. Mr. John Carter is ready to see you right now.

Cardo: Oh, crap, I forgot about that," Cardo exclaimed. "I'll be there in fifteen minutes.

Claudia: I will tell him that.

Cardo: Thank you. Bye.

Cardo hung up and walked back into the café. He walked towards Ashley. "Sorry, but I gotta go."

Ashley looked up at him with a small frown on her face. "Oh... okay..." she said sadly.

Cardo picked up his coffee and waved goodbye to her before leaving the café

Leon Manor

Cardo arrived at Leon Manor. He entered the building and saw a cyborg waiting for him. The cyborg notices him. "Mr. Leon, I have the armor ready." The cyborg said, reaching his hand out to Cardo.

Cardo nodded and shook his hand. "Thank you again, John." Cardo thanked. John gestured him to follow him. John walked towards a piano and pressed a few keys. After that, a bookshelf opens up. They walked towards it and entered, walking down the stairs.

They went down the stairs and walked towards a door. They entered the room and saw a glass costume display case in the middle of the room. Combat nightingale armor was inside of it. "What do you think, Mr. Leon?" John asked.

Cardo stared at the armor in the case. "It's perfect." He answered.

John chuckled, "You going to beat up more thugs again?" He asked once more.

Cardo shakes his head. "Someone's selling children to Serbians. I have to figure out who they are." He explained.

John turns around to exit the room. "Well, good luck." He said before leaving.

"No more bandanas," Cardo looks back at the armor in the display case and smirks. "Let's do this properly this time."
