Grim just stared at his Weavile partner's dead body in horror. "He's gone... That Pikachu killed him... How dare he!! I WILL AVENGE YOUR DEATH ACE!! IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!! THAT STARTER SQUAD WILL PAY!! I'LL KILL THEM!!! I'LL KILL THEM ALL!! I PROMISE YOU THAT SQUAD SHALL BE NO MORE!!" He shouted to the sky.

He took a deep breath and he looked around him. No creature was lurking around him. Not even a Rattata. He was alone which meant that no Starter Pokémon heard him.

"Pathetic Squad... Pathetic Paarthurnax... Pathetic World..."

Grim took only one step forward and stepped in liquid. He raised his paw up. The blood of his deceased partner stained it. He walked over to the closest tree to him and wrote his name with the blood as the ink. Grim!

"You haven't seen the last of me... Death is coming tonight. We all die somehow...."

"You messed up big time Starter Squad. You f-" suddenly, Grim heard the sound of leaves crunching behind him.

He turned around to see a Poochyena. A female one at that. Her right ear was missing and left eye was missing.

"Who are you?!" Grim snarled.

"My name is Bone and you are?"

"Grim. What are you doing here?!"

"I scented blood... It brought me here..." Bone answered, she turned to see the dead Weavile. "Did you kill this-"

"No! He was my partner.. before that dumb Pikachu from the Starter Squad killed him!"

"You hate them too, huh? I'm a Young killer. I love the taste of blood. The taste of it lingers in your mouth for quite a long time."

"You are not eating my partner!!"

"Why not? He's already dead. We wouldn't want the bird Pokémon to eat him instead or let his body rot. Be honest, you're a blood thirsty Pokémon as well. You're a predator. You're not any of those Pokémon that just eat berries and Pokepuffs. You enjoy variety. We're both dark types. We all have dark and twisted minds."

"WE ARE NOT EATING MY PARTNER AND THAT'S THAT, YOU MONGREL!! NOW MOVE ALONG BEFORE I REMOVE YOUR OTHER EAR AND EYE."

"Fine.. Fine.." Bone muttered. "Hey! Since we both hate the Squad how about we team up. I mean you did already lose your partner so you may want a replacement right?"

"No! I am not having another partner that I would risk losing. You looked like you barely escaped a fight yourself. I am not dealing with this again! Just leave me alone you mutt!!"

"Hmph... you know if you want to kill all of the Starter Squad, you'll get killed if you take them on alone. It's better to have a team if you're going to do that. Might be rise, Mr. Glowstick!" Bone snorted.

"Uh... Fine!!" Grim groaned in annoyance.

"Great! I'd knew you would come through eventually." Bone smirked.

"But... You better not be annoying... And you also need to evolve."

"Got it!"

"Good. Now let's move..."
