Grim and Ace run off but they were soon found by the Starter Squad again. "Shinx, The Starter Squad is everywhere in this forest now. I wonder why... Perhaps it's the night where outlaws strike."Grim thought.

"Put your paws up!!!" The Squad ordered.

"Seriously why do you keep ordering us to do that? It's not like it's going to happen." Grim smirked.

"Put then up now!!!!!" A Squirtle ordered.

Grim glared at the Starters. He was getting sick of them attempting to boss them around like they own the world.

Grim used Psychic suffocating the Squirtle. Ace used Night Slash and sliced at the Squirtle with a purple energy sword in the palm of one of his paws, cutting him in half.

The Squirtle's body was thrown at the other members covering them with his blood.

Grim used Dark Pulse and Ace used Ice Punch. Ace managed to freeze a few of his foes and smash them into pieces with Brick Break.

A Torracat ran straight towards Ace to attack him but that was a big mistake. Ace clawed at the fire cat starter's eye causing it to bleed.

"Argh...." the Torracat groaned, covering his bloody eye with a paw.

"Carl run!!!" Shouts a Dewott in the group.

Carl obeys and runs away from the outlaws. Grim was about to give chase before the Dewott blocked his way.

The Dewott attacked with Razor Shell as he crosses his arms in front of his chest and touches the ends of the two scalchops on his legs using the hand from the opposite side of his body. He touches the scalchops and they start to glow yellow. He then slashes at Grim with the scalchops in an 'X'-like fashion. It causes a big red gash on his chest that will surely leave a scar.

Grim growled at the Dewott and tackled him to the ground. "You will pay for that you stupid Starter!"

The Dewott ignored his comment and used Aqua Jet. His body becomes surrounded in blue energy. When the blue glow from the energy fades, his body becomes surrounded in water and the Dewott shoots himself like a rocket at Grim, slamming into him.

Grim shook his body like a wet dog and turned for a second to see Ace busy fighting the other Starters. He faced the Dewott again and attacked with Bite. The Dewott dodged and used Razor Shell again but Grim quickly avoided it before it struck him in the face.

Grim then grabbed the Dewott with his teeth from the back of his neck and threw him against the tree. Grim thought he was finished until he unexpectedly got back to his paws again. The Dewott looked at Grim and to the other Starters.

"We don't stand a chance against them right now. We must retreat!" The Dewott replied. "We must get back to headquarters now!"

The Starters soon fled the scene.

"What was all that about? We had them!" Grim growled in disappointment.

"They were probably afraid about losing against us..." Ace said, licking his bloody claws clean.

"Maybe... But what did they mean by headquarters. Where is the headquarters?" Grim asked.

"Don't ask that. No one knows. The Squad is very good at keeping it a secret from us." Ace answered.

"That makes sense I guess. Hopefully we discover it-"

"-Why? Do you want to get yourself killed. Intruding on the Starter Squad headquarters will surely get you killed. We would be easily overwhelmed by all of them." Ace interrupted.

"I mean it doesn't hurt to try. Maybe they're afraid of us.."

"Maybe... Maybe not... But it doesn't matter right now because no outlaw had the guts to try it as of yet, but I doubt it will ever happen" Ace replied. "Let's just get home before we run into anymore trouble and if you ask anymore stupid questions like that I will claw you next, kid!"
