“You have no idea, that bitch was just too extra!”

“No don’t you dare, she was very pretty”

“Yes pretty without brains and let’s not forget totally self-righteous” To say I was surprised would be an understatement.

A day ago, no scratch that, few hours ago, this lady here didn’t want to be here and couldn’t stand the idea of being a supernatural and being here in general and now here she was chatting and arguing with a red head I assume to be her roommate and a brunette, probably her second roommate sitting in a corner just staring and sipping from a can.

“How dare you?!” the red head screeches and I am no longer surprised as to how they didn’t hear me shut the door behind me or see me slid on one of the beds, the red head’s I think because I remember the bed they are currently kneeling on being empty earlier and the other girl was on the other bed so...Yeah. I spoke too soon because the red head glances and notices me finally.

“Elena was the worse vampire in that series, just never compare her to Caroline again” she finishes looking to see what the red head looked at, “Oh hey Gaby, how was…”

“Physical training class idiot” I finish for her.

“Oh yeah that, how was that?”

“Meh, was… different. Are you going to introduce me to your friends” I push lifting a brow.

“Oh yeah, this is Jimena” she introduced the slightly chubby the red head “And this is Harmonica” she adds referring to the girl that has been in the corner watching them argue.

“Guys this is Gaby, my favourite idiot” she says and I roll my eyes.

“Hi” Harmonica meekly says “Hey, caroline or Elena?” the hazel eyed red head asks

“Oh don’t waste your time on this one, she likes bunny” Lena grunts lying on the bed which I assume is Jimena’s.

“Argh! Same with Harmy, I don’t get you guys to be honest” Jimena copies Lena’s motion.

“Are you guys going to that party on Saturday?”

“What party?”

“Defintely” Lena and I say at the same time.

“Just one of the weekend parties they have here, who did you say was hosting this one?” she turns to Harmonica.

“Emm… I’m not sure”

“Dante” they both say at the same time.

“Who?”

Jimena rests her elbows on the bed and her chin on her palms “Just this too good to be true vampire, Iswear his looks are to die for. Literally”

“Oh please his not all that .”
Harmonica mutter moving to pick a book from one of drawers of the desk besides her carefully laid bed.

“I swear Harmonica if you say that one more time I will shove that book down your throat”

She flinches and buries her head in the book The legend of the forgotten, I read.

I shake my head, “Sorry I plan to go see my aunt that day”

“You were? why?”

“Don’t you think its weird that she just I don’t know… tells us its safer here, with no offence” I say to the others in the room “all these people?”

“I do actually but I don’t want her to change her mind plus they’re really not that bad”

“They are still here” Jimena says from where she laid.

My brows kiss each other in a frown “Sorry” I offer her “I just want to make sure she is safe you know wi-” I cut myself off realizing I almost mentioned her step-dad to a bunch of strangers.

“You guys could go on Sunday?” Harmonica offers and Jimena nods.

Lena does the puppy eyes thingy and I can’t say no to that, I just can’t.

“Fine” I breath and lie on the bed I’m sitting on.

Lena looks in my direction,“Have you met your roommates?"

“Neh, just came straight here. Not sure I want to make friends”

“Nonsense! We’re going right now” she gets up from the bed and takes my hand in hers.

I groan but follow her anyways.
“Was nice meeting you both” I call back to them

Lena drags me down the hall till we get to my room. She doesn’t knock, just barges in, rude as always. We’re greeted by the most unexpected sight ever. A light skinned strawberry blonde in just her underwear straddling an equally half naked pale brunette, their faces disturbingly close to each other.

They both acknowledge our presence,“Its not what it looks like!” they shriek in unison with shocked looks on both their faces.

Lena must have let my hand go because the next thing I see is her hand around the brunette’s neck, the brunette’s feet barely meeting the ground. I never knew she was that strong. Her eyes!

“What were you saying to me bitch?” she yells in her face and to say I am absolutely lost would be an understatement. Lena’s pupils are dilated and changed from their usual dark blue to a sharp almost piercing shade.

“Wha-” choke “Let m-” choke “let me go” she wheezed.

“Lena that’s enough! Let her go!” The brunette used my distraction as an opportunity to knee Lena in the stomach, successfully making Lena release her.

“Oh I see you finally grew a pair” She needles at her.
I see Lena is about to respond, probably with more choking so I beat her to it

“What’s going on here?”

“Well I’m going to leave y’all to sort that out while I get into something better. Oh and Andrea” she turns to look at the brunette, “I win” she struts into the bathroom leaving just me, Lena and the girl I assume to be Andrea.

“Mind explaining why you just went awole?”

She just keeps huffing and puffing so I raise a brow at Andrea.

She heaves a sign “She probably just remembered what I did to her since she just got her powers activated” she goes to pick a robe from the hanger besides the door, how did I not see that earlier?

“Yes bitch, I almost died because of you!” Lena yells.

“What do you mean because of her?”

“Why don’t you ask that egotistical bitch”

“Hey I’m standing right here?”

“Good because you were meant to hear that” she fires back.

“Lena breathe, what’s wrong” the red head that is starting to irritate me rolls her eyes and walks to the bed she and her ‘friend’ were on earlier.

“She was the one that did it”

“Ah ya ya, did what Le?”

“I remember, she didn’t want me to let you know that bringing me for that test thing was just a formality, they knew I was a werewolf even before we walked through the door and she compelled me to forget everything and to have an attack anytime I tried to tell you”

“See that wasn’t so hard now, was it? Took you long enough to realize though, so sl-”

Lena has her hands on her next in seconds,“What were you saying?"
Andrea grips Lena’s hand and flips her over, placing her right foot on Lena’s stomach.

“I said too slow” she breaks the words like she was talking to a child.

“Ouch?!” Lena screams rubbing the back of her head.

Andrea smirks and leaves Lena lying on her back. The amber eyed brunette comes out fully clothed but stops,“ What’s going on here?”

“Nothing Maya, just the usual, pups thinking they can actually beat us” Maya chuckles and let’s out a ‘phft’.

“I am not a pup” Lena grunts from the floor and I just realize she is still on the floor, I was too busy staring at Maya, how could someone that thin pull off black shorts like these?
Lena helps herself up “Start explaining” she groans.

“I didn’t mean any serious harm, just didn’t want missy to change her mind because of you or rather me, I wasn’t supposed to tell you that” she lifts her hand in my direction.

“You could have just said, ‘hey please don’t tell anyone what I told you’"

The Maya girl lets out a ‘phft’ sound again, no wonder you have such a big mouth.

“Like it’s ever that easy” Oh so she talks.

“It is and it would’ve been”

“Well whatever, I just didn’t want to take any chances, Ares hates blabber mouths and he would’ve thought me one had that caused any problems. And I am sorry for the pyramid thing as well, needed your blood and wanted something funny.”
I would’ve asked about the Ares thingy but I remember Adonis seemed to have a similar relationship with Athena.

“So we cool?” she asked

Lena looks skeptical at first but then I nudge her with my shoulder.

“Oh alright." she drawld, "by the way, what were you saying about activation?"

Andrea sits up "Oh that, once you're of age and you're around your people,  it activates your power; healing, speed, the works. It isn't for all supernatural beings though, just gods, vampires and werewolves." I want to ask her what it means if I get my powers activated the moment this whole drama with Zeus started but decide again it.

She pulls Maya down to her “Oh and about what you saw earlier, we weren’t… you know…”

I smirk knowing what she was trying to say but wanting her to say it anyways, “Weren’t what?”

“We aren’t lesbians.” Maya spits.
Lena folds her arms together, “Then what was that we saw”

“We were just having harmless fun you perverts, it’s called tickling” she chuckles and I notice she has a thick voice with an Irish accent? I wouldn’t know, I’m terrible with accents.

“With your faces so close? Sure…” I swear Lena loves trouble more than I do and that is saying something considering I once set our principal’s office on fire at my old school. The only reason I got out of that unscarred was because ‘I had a rich daddy’.

There was no evidence though so I deserve some credit. I head towards the last bed and we chat some more about stuffs that has happened in the scholl before our arrival and all that and the gods, what they look like, what to look out for, stuffs like that.

What surprised me the most though was when Andrea said,“There were once gorgons here.”
