"Ow... wait, what?"

I opened my eyes to find myself in a classroom. Except it looked exactly like... 

"Is this... my science teacher's classroom? What the heck?"

I was careful not to swear in case I really was at my school. Same tables, same chairs... there's even the exact chair I sit in during science. Well, of course there would be. Even the posters were- no, they weren't the same. They were all torn up. "Uh, hello? Is...anybody there?" I heard a loud thud from the door by the cabinets. "Wh-Who's there?" I yelled, grabbing a chair and holding it up in case I needed to defend myself. The handle wriggled a bit before a familiar person stumbled out. He was taller than me, dark brown hair, pretty skinny- hey, it was Nick! I quickly dropped the chair and ran over to him. "Nick! Wait, what are you doing in my school?"
He looked at me and smiled. "Aki! Uh, that's a good question. Is there anyone here?" I shrugged. "I dunno. The classroom's always pretty loud, but I don't see anyone. Not even a teacher."

"Well, maybe we should look around. Oh, and don't pull a Kaede on me," he joked. "Then you don't pull a Shuichi on me," I replied, smirking.

We exited the classroom, and I looked at the clock connected to the ceiling."7:45? I'm guessing they mean AM, so... oh, there's usually girls' off-season athletics in the gym. Maybe there'll be someone there," I said, already headed towards the gym, occasionally glancing back at Nick to make sure he was following me. "Why's that hallway closed off?" he asked, pointing to a hallway just barely visible from where we were standing by the principal's office. "That's the eighth grade hallway, but... the hallways are never closed when first period starts. What's going on?" I wondered. "Oh, whatever. Let's just go to the gym and hope someone's there."

When we entered the gymnasium, I didn't see a single person from my school. I only saw a group of teenagers, some of whom I recognized. I immediately realized who they were when one girl turned around and immediately ran up to Nick. "Fluffy!" Nick exclaimed, hugging her. I saw everyone else, too: Haji, Carlos, Chi, two people who I assumed were Em and Miki, Rin, Ollie, and everyone else. "Holy shit, it's noodle legs Nick!" Haji yelled, also running over to Nick, Carlos following. Kyo walked up to me, smiling. "Hey, Aki." I could barely contain my excitement. "Omigosh I can't believe you guys are all here! But- uh- why my school?" I asked. Kat shrugged. "I dunno either-" We just kinda stood there until we heard the speakers turn on. The only difference: the voice coming from them was much easier to hear than it normally was. "Ahem! May I ask that you please turn your attention to the U.S. flag? Thank you!" 

We all looked, and jutting out from above the mat on the wall was a small stage. And on it...

was a black and white bear.

I gasped. "Is- Is that..."
"Aww, you already know me? Well fuck it, I'll introduce myself anyway! I am Monokuma, your new principal!" the bear announced.

"Omigodomigodomigod-" Ollie was jumping around. "Does that mean Junko is here?!" they exclaimed. Monokuma sighed. "No, now calm down, fuckers! I'm here to explain why you're here!

"Ahem- you're all stuck here forever! Buuut if you reeeally wanna get out, all you gotta do...

is commit murder without getting caught!"

Murder...?

We're... stuck here? Forever...?

"No... no! This can't be happening!" I yelled, scared that not only was this situation happening in real life, but also that it was happening in my own school with my friends. 

"Toooo baaad! Deal with it, lil missy!"

It was chaos. We... were being forced to participate in a killing game...

All because of Monokuma...

Hoo boy that was fun. Anyway like Hotel California there'll be many parts to a chapter. So yeah. Every chapter part will have a different protag. Protagonists are: Aki, Nick, Rin, and Derpy. Have fun!
