Sam had stopped his car in the driveway of the mansion,inside the car were Max and his sisters,and Riley and Noah,behind him,Emily was in her with Tyler and Trent.

The groups got out of their cars and went inside the mansion,Sam then walked to the kitchen and got out the control to open the secret path to the basement,the others followed him.

Sam then went to the a small metal cabinet door,he lifted it up and inside were guns,he then started to hand each of his friends a gun for them.

"We all have to be prepared,Emily do you have the ouija board?" Sam asked,Emily nodded as she pointed to the Ouija board on the desk.

"We just have to trap John and use the Ouija board to get that demon out of his body." Riley said informing everyone.

"Well,we all to have to be ready." Sam said sternly,then he heard something upstairs.

"All of you stay here,i will go investigate." Sam said with a stern voice as he grabbed a shotgun and walked up the stairs,he then grabbed the remote and closed the and the counter moved back in place.

Sam then started to walk over to the door,he looked through the glass window and tried to see if he could spot John,Sam was breathing slowly as he held his shotgun.

Then a hand smashed through the glass and grabbed Sam,Sam let out a strangled scream,as another hand came through the other side of the glass and grabbed him,he knew it was his brother.

John started to slam Sam's head against the door,Sam let out choked sounds and screams as he tried to get out of John's grip.

"Sam?" Emily called out as the group heard the noise upstairs.

Sam felt himself being lifted from the floor,he clawed at John's hand to try and free himself.

"Sam!" Riley shouted as he was afraid for his boyfriend.

Sam then started to lift his shotgun,John had his hands on Sam's throat,Sam was letting out choked sounds,as he let out a shout as he shot John in the shoulder,John then let go of Sam,Sam fell to his knees as he was struggling to breathe.

Emily heard the counter starting to move so she grabbed her gun,and so did the others,then it revealed Sam,they all let out a relieved sigh,Sam ran over to the Light control panel,he opened it and turned on all the lights outside.

"You know i did this to protect you all." Sam said as he stared at the others with a protective look.

"And we are all thankful." Riley said with a small smile.

"Shhh,i hear something." Tyler said,as everyone then stopped talking,they heard John knocking down the door.

Everyone was trying to keep quiet as they could hear his footsteps above them,the could see the wooden floor his shadow,Sam kept his shotgun in the air aiming at John,then John started to walk away,then they didn't hear him anymore.

"I'll go check." Sam said as he was about to walk upstairs,then Riley grabbed his hand.

"Please be careful,Sam." Riley said with a worried tone,Sam then gave Riley a quick kiss on the lips,before he pulled away.

"I will." Sam said with a smile.

"Don't get killed." Max said,Sam then started to walk up the stairs and he pressed the button on the control to make the counter cover the path to the basement,he then started to search for John.

"John,where are you?" Sam called out as he walked over to the living room and then he saw a blood trail leading up the stairs,Sam then held his shotgun in front of him, as he was walking up the stairs,he then started to check the rooms and everytime he left a room,he pressed a button,a metal grate door would come down and close the door.

The group hiding under the basement heard the metal doors,and they knew Sam was trying to prevent John from escaping.

When Sam made it to the gym room,he then saw blood on the walls,he grabbed his flashlight and searched for the light switch,he then turned it on,he then let out a gasp of horror as he saw Hayley on the floor bleeding.

"Hayley!" Sam shouted as he fell to his knees and placed Hayley's head on his lap.

"Sam..." Hayley weakly said.

"Hold on,i'm going to get you some help!" Sam said hastily as he cradled Hayley in his arms.

"I'm...not going to make...it." Hayley then spat out blood.

"No,don't say that!" Sam said as he was starting to sob.

"Tell Zach...and Staci...and Brody...i love them." Hayley said as she then went limp and stopped breathing.

Sam then let out a choked cry,as he let go of Hayley and he started to cry.

"No,no no,don't leave us.." Sam cried out as he sat against the wall,he had a bit of blood on him from cradling Hayley.

Sam even though he was very much sad about Hayley's death,he knew he had to stay strong as they had to stop John,Sam then got up from the ground and he picked up his shotgun,he kept searching for John.

Sam then went inside his room,as he was pointing the flashlight everywhere,he then bumped into a shelf and he turned around to see a necklace fall.

Sam then picked it up,and he saw it was the necklace John gave to him on his birthday,wait maybe this could convince John that it was him,his little brother Miguel.

Sam then put on the necklace,he then left his room and pressed the button,as the metal door came down.

Sam then went to Emily's room,he then pointed his flashlight in every direction,he then saw some blood on the closet door,Sam walked over slowly to the closet,and he then slowly reached his hand to the handle.

Sam opened the closet door and gasped as he saw the bodies of Cody and Kiera,he then stopped himself from crying,he then heard a noise behind him,Sam turned around and aimed his shotgun at the spot.

Sam started to walk over slowly and he aimed his flashlight at the corner of the room,but he couldn't see anything.

John then came out from his hiding spot and he pinned Sam against the wall,holding his shotgun against his throat,Sam let out a cry of surprise,then he let out an angry growl as he grabbed John's head and poked him in the eye.

John then staggered backwards,then he had an angry expression on his face,Sam then tried to reach for his shotgun,but John kicked it away from him.

"John please stop!" Sam pleaded to his brother,but John took out a knife and he starting to swing the knife at Sam,Sam was able to dodge his attacks.

Sam and John ended near the window,near the balcony,John tried to stab Sam again,Sam then grabbed the knife and tried to get John to let it go.

"Let go!" Sam said with a growl,he then twisted John's hand and John let go of his knife,John now pissed off grabbed Sam by the throat.

"Now i'm pissed." John snarled in anger.

"John please no,don't do this!" Sam pleaded with John,he didn't listen and then he pushed Sam out the balcony,Sam let out a cry as fell off the balcony and landed on the ground hard,Sam let out a groan of pain.

John stared at him from the balcony and saw Sam laying on the ground in pain,meanwhile the others hiding in the basement were getting worried about Sam.

"What's going up there?" Trent asked worried.

"I don't know." Noah said.

"We have to go up there and check." Max said as he was about to go upstairs.

"No,we can't Sam told us to stay here." Sally said grabbing her brother's arm.

"Sally's right,we have to listen to Sam,if we are going to stop John." Emily said as she was hugged by her boyfriend.

John upstairs didn't know if he should go after Sam or his friends,Sam had just got up from the ground and he saw John was about to go back inside the room,knowing he couldn't let him go after his friends.

"Hey,John,try and catch me!" Sam shouted as he waved his arms around,this caught John's attention as he turned around and glared at Sam,he then started to march down the stairs.

Sam then started to run,as he knew he had to lead him away from his friends.
