Skye couldn't wait to see her old play pal.

It's funny, she'd thought he was dead by now, but perhaps that killer in LA was caught, she needed to update her information. Skye walked along the left side of the pier, smirking to herself. The waves splashed along the wooden frame, people fishing, talking in high voices.

Skye trotted to the end of the dock, and soon noticed her source. It was a long period of time since she's seen him, but he hasn't changed other than his height. But even that wasn't a dramatic change. He was twirling a piece of albino hair on his index finger, amusing himself by watching strangers fish.

"Hello!" Skye greeted, wrapping her arms around him. He still wore his white mysterious clothing, which was a bit odd.

"Tch. Skye, it's been a few."

Skye unraveled her arms, and faced him.

"I think I actually missed you, Near. Now, about Yagami being the only killer.. There's multiple people." Near and her took a seat on an old wooden bench, as the seagulls sang their 'song'.

"Yes, I believe that's what L was figuring out. He's taken things into his own hands to find his sister. That is most likely dead."

"Yes. Shame he couldn't expand the investigation to the killers too. They're killing random people in the same room, famous people, political people, probably soon the president." Skye muttered.

"Hm. They must be sharing the same DeathNote, I believe."

Skye gasped. "Or multiple deathnotes? They can't all just be passing it around."

"They can, either way, the persons name in the book is written down, and dies of a heart attack."

She shifted her legs forward, biting her lip. "Ugh. This makes it even more difficult."

Near nods, "and I bet you've met Matt and Mello?"

"Yes. I seem to have a liking for Matt." Skye blurts out, and regrets what she says.

"Hm. I guess so, be aware these two want to kill the killers. Making them killers."

Skye shrugs, grabbing her purse. "Well Near, I hope you're able to join us either way tonight."

"I hope so too."

M takes a seat on Skye's bed, along with Matt and Mello. Mello sits next to her, biting his fourth chocolate bar since he got there. Matt rolls his eyes to the ceiling, while playing on his DS type of game. Skye giggles, laying upside down. Near sighs, taking a seat while dumping out his box full of toys and gadgets.

"Anyways, I have the DeathNote, and plan to use it for good." Mello states, "I have already seen the Shinigami, I believe you would want to too." He takes out the black book, waving it in his left hand, his right on the fifth chocolate bar.

"Ooh!" Skye rushes up to touches it, looking around for the Shinigami. She's seen research on this, and it's quite interesting. Skye sees the monster, you can tell by her reaction, she was probably thinking of a pixie or fairy, with colorful hair, but instead finds a grey bear skeleton fish thing, with wings and bone in its back.

"I am Yik." The monotone voice replies.

"Well Yik, I am Skye." The others grab on the notebook, and Matt screams. "HOW COULD
YOU NOT TELL ME MELL."

Near huffs, and twirls the same strand of hair. "Who are we killing, exactly?"

"MISA AMANE." Skye pipes up.

"LIGHT YAGAMI." M and Mello say in unison.

"I don't care, as long as we kill Riruka.. She's a royal pain." Matt continues to play on his game.

"We need to just threaten first. It's no good if we just kill people without learning the information the hold." M assures.

"Of course M!" Skye laughs, laying her head on Matts chest. He eyed her awkwardly.

"I said you were adorable. Not that I loved you." Matt shifts over and Skye frowns.

"ANYWAYS,"*Bites chocolate bar*"mm. We need mm. To get Light.. Mm yagi mm for investigation."

"Hm. Of course. Who's gonna get him? He can be very headstrong with that subject."

"Isn't it obvious?" M gives her 'duh' face. Skye blushes, nuzzling her head into her shoulder.

"Duh. Skye. She's the one who is his partner."

"But Misa Amane is going to be with him 24/7." Skye protests. She really hated that monster.

"That's why we let Matt do the flirting." Mello gets out his seventh chocolate bar, and seeing M eye it, he gives her a piece. Just a small sliver. M winks and gives MarshMellow a peck on the cheek, making him go scarlet.

"And let's also kill her while we're at it."
