As soon as Jimin's eyelids flutter open on Saturday, he knows he's going to need coffee to get through the day; especially because he plans on organizing everything inside his house today.

He yawns as he goes to the bathroom to take a quick shower. After drying off and dressing casually, he moves to the kitchen to make coffee. Remembering that his neighbor drank the coffee he brought her yesterday, he makes her a cup too and sets his aside while he goes outside to take the cup to her.

He stops short, however, when he sees a police car parked in her driveway. He glances up towards her porch and sees his neighbor talking to a police officer.

"As I said before, Officer Jeon," Jimin hears her say, "There's no need to check on me anymore."

"Ev, please," the police officer says. "Can you please stop treating me like I'm a stranger?"

Jimin sees his neighbor glare at the man. "Do not call me that. You're not allowed to call me that ever again. Do you understand me?"

The police officer winces at the malice in the woman's voice. He tries to reach out to her, his fingertips grazing her arm. "Evelyn, please don't do this."

Evelyn jerks her arm out of the man's reach. "Leave and don't come back."

Without another word, she turns away from him and goes inside her house, slamming her front door shut.

Jimin stays rooted to the spot, confusion evident on his features as he watches the scene unfold. The police officer turns to leave, but he spots Jimin standing in his driveway, so he jogs over.

"Hey," the man says, smiling a bit. "I'm sorry you had to see that. You're Evelyn's new neighbor?"
Jimin nods, happy in his clarity of knowing his neighbor's name now. "Park Jimin."

"Jeon Jungkook," the police officer says. "That's my sister, Jung Evelyn."

Jimin nods. "She's never told me her name... or much of anything."

Jungkook sighs, nodding as if he knows exactly how his sister has been acting lately. "Look, I know this is a lot to ask, but..." Jungkook reaches into his pocket and pulls out a card, holding it out to Jimin. "If she seems to be having a really hard time, please call me. If you think she's a danger to herself, or if you haven't seen her out and about for a while, please call."

"Oh, sure," Jimin says, nodding as he takes the card. "I'll keep an eye on her."

Jungkook's shoulders relax as he glances back at his sister's house. "She's been through a lot, and she blames me for it. I'm just glad she has you since she's determined to pretend I don't exist in her life anymore."

Jimin nods, sending a polite smile towards Jungkook. "I'm sorry that you're both dealing with a lot, then."

"Thanks," Jungkook says, rubbing the back of his head. "I'll see you around, I guess."

Jungkook and Jimin wave at each other before Jungkook jogs back to his car and leaves his sister's house.

After a moment, Jimin walks to Evelyn's house and places the coffee where he put it the previous day, and he knocks on the door. She doesn't answer, so he sighs before speaking through the door.

"I brought you coffee. I put it on the table again. I uh... I hope you're okay."

Jimin holds his breath for a moment, hoping to hear movement on the other side of the door, but he hears nothing. He decides to go back to his house, hoping that Evelyn will at least drink the coffee, even if she doesn't want to acknowledge him.
