Judith ran, more like hastened her pace, she made her best to rush back to the motel without turning any heads, she shouldn't have left her car there, not with everything she needs is in there, she thought.

"Goddamn it." She cursed under her breath, even if she was wrong and it was nothing last night, she didn't want to take any risks not now, when she was almost done with this job.

Judith's past experiences taught her to rely on her instincts and emotions, even if she wasn't fully prepared. She recognized and learned the necessity to take action and do what was required, even if it was initially jarring. Adapting to this mindset took time but it paid off eventually, her hands no longer shake like they used to.

Her heart still does though.

She made it there in less than 10 minutes, she walked her way to her car to check if it has been broken into or if something was off.
"Oh thank god..." she sighed in relief- she panicked all for nothing, she thought. Sitting inside her car, Nothing seemed off too, however, she still remembers what happened in Omaha 3 years ago.

She was still new to this...job. It asked- required her to do a task there, and although she was still new to the whole thing, that task wasn't that hard at all, in fact, she still remembers how smooth it went.

He was another charity officer; she did a lot of those, just like Will Mitchell- he fell a target to It. So she got the job done, the problem is what came afterward, a witness.

More like a blackmailer.

Judith can still remember his face, how can she forget? After all, he almost caused her a lot more than she can afford. She remembers who he was- just another addict. If you ask her, he should've been her task but of course not, since his type of people is It's favorites.

He had to go, that was the only option. After the blackmailing? He had to go for sure. So she made him go away.

At least that's what she thought at first.
Sloppy? Yes, she was sloppy.
Not her fault thought she was just starting with this job.

And so her sloppy job came back to bite her in the ass.

Judith unlocked her car and pushed the suitcase she had in the backseat, taking too long to get in had coasted her.
The next thing she knows she felt something metal pressing against her lower right side.
"Ha- what the"
"Shh!! SHH!- get in bitch- get.the.fuck.in. Now!" The man didn't wait for her to react or get in, instead, he pushed into her own car and into the passenger seat, with a knife pressed into her.
"W-what the fuck- WHAT THE FUCK!- I- I-"Judith couldn't find the right words to express her thoughts, the only thing she had in mind is How? She thought he was gone- he is supposed to be gone.
"You, you, YOU What?! Huh?! Thought you got rid of me bitch?! Think again- oh you're so gonna FUCKING PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID- for this!!!-" The clearly angry man with a knife, lifted his shirt revealing a bullet wound that had been badly patched up.
Judith's eyes kept switching between the wound, the man, and the knife.

Shit, she thought.

Well, it's been half an hour, of driving and having to deal with the curses thrown at her, and that one punch he gave her in the shoulder started to hurt bad.

"Oh you just fucking wait- see those woods over there?! That's your end bitch. DONE- you're DONE!! You thought you can get rid of me huh?!- you know what?! I even gave you a chance but no- bitches like you DON'T DESERVE ANY CHANCES!!- that's right just fucking wait."

To the woods he was driving, and Judith had to think quick- she can start kicking and punching but she really does not need any more bruises or worst, knife marks.
Maybe she can snatch the knife away? No, she glanced at it and his grip is too tight around it, he is a man twice his size and can't overtake him.

Just as she was mentally yelling at herself to do something quick- a figure appeared in the backseat, It.
It does that sometimes, but it never appeared when she was in the middle of a job or during something similar to her current situation.

Her theory, that It only shows itself to numbered people or only when It wishes to, had been confirmed along time ago, so she's not surprised that the man; the junkie waving the knife at her can't see It.

She never asked It for help before though? Maybe it was worth a try, no It should help her correct? Because it wants the Task done right?

She looked at the front view mirror to have a view of the backseat and "Help me.." she mouthed to It, her eyes pleading for it to do something, she got a grin in return....

It enjoyed this, seeing her in this situation.

"You're on your own, kid. Hahahaha--" It announced- and with a wave, it was gone.

That was enough, to make her blood boil.
Is it serious? She saw what it can do- it can get her out of this situation easily! But no...the bastard gonna make her work for it as well.

Hot tears started rolling down her cheeks- which was good. No that was good, because sometimes, Judith tears up when she's furious.

"F-fucking piece of s-shit- fucking bastard-..."

"What was that?! The fuck did you just say-" the junkie snapped at her, he'd continue calling her names and yelling at her but she gave him no opportunity because what she did next took him by surprise--

"I SAID FUCK YOU ALL--" Instead of aiming for the knife and trying to snatch it, Judith aimed for the wheel. They're both going down. Grabbing the wheel, with all of her power she spanned it to her side as far as she can, aiming for one of the trees that stood along the wooded roadside.

The junkie was yelling and cursing and swinging and all of that, she didn't hear or see any of it. The only thing she saw is the smoke coming out of the car when she opened her eyes- it hurts to even open your eyes after crashing a car into a tree.

"A-ahh...ah no- ouch ouch..damn it- you-..." Moving as carefully as she can, she turned her head to see the junkie laying almost completely out on the windshield- he looks unconscious, good think she woke up before him.

Wasting no more time, she started getting out of her car. she's going to need a new one, she thought. After checking for any severe injuries, she was only suffering from head pain and her body aches- oh and that one bruise on her shoulder. She hurried and took whatever she needs from her now damaged car, she noticed the junkie started to twitch- he was probably gonna wake up soon.

You're not going anywhere, she decided.

After getting her things, she grabbed a lighter from her bag, she never used this lighter before and had it only for when she needed a use for it, well now is the time.
Moving her stuff to the other side of the road, she waited for a couple of minutes, the road was clear- it was a wooded road anyways so there isn't any cars around.

Judith grabbed the gas can she had stored in the car and started pouring it all over the car. once she was done, she made a little trail behind her, she made it to a safe distance and- she did hesitate..fire? She never started one before, unless over-frying burgers count.

"Why couldn't you just leave me be...now you're going away for sure...ugh." With a stern face, she dropped the lighter at the end of the trail and watched the fire rise, in a minute it started consuming the car.

She didn't want to be there if the junkie woke up in the middle of the flames, she didn't need that scene in her mind, what she already have up there is enough.

Judith dragged her suitcase with her along the road surrounded by trees, she needs lighter luggage. She realized.

Clap clap clap, she heard someone- something starts clapping behind her as she walked.
"Wow! Have you seen that fire?! I'm IMPRESSED! Kiddo that was creative I'll give you that! Hahaha-"

It's just It, she let out a heavy sigh.
"Thanks for nothing- would it have harmed you to help?! I swear it's like you don't want me to get YOUR job done for you." She snapped at It, as she kept walking ahead, with It walking behind her.

"NoPe. What I got you for then?!~ besides don't blame me for your sloppy shitty work- oh no that's all on you, kiddo."

She had nothing to say. She just kept walking eyes ahead.

"Oh well- I'll see you in the next town- it's gonna take you days to get there! Doesn't look like any cars passing by here any time soon!! Hahahhhh~" With that, It was gone.

Bastard. She thought.

She kept walking and walking, and although It was gone- sure sometimes she feels like it was watching, but it makes her aware of it....
This? This feeling of being watched that she suddenly was hit with is....different.

She kept walking and tried to push that feeling away, don't look into the woods she thought. She had a feeling someone or something was in there, she didn't need any more trouble today, so she kept walking ahead.

She's grateful a car that passed by stopped for her, she was even more grateful it was an elderly couple. The last thing she needed is being stuck in a car with a creep or pervert, she can handle junkies but not those, no, not those.

From there, Judith headed to her next town, Her task. Hoping the 4 years be over fast.

After that incident with the Omaha junkie, Judith learned to be more careful, to be quick and not to linger on things, places, and people more than needed. She also downgraded and got rid of that big suitcase she used to carry around. She made sure to actually finish a job, to be completely done with it, so it doesn't come back and bite her in the ass.

After sitting in her car and thinking back to that incident, she was sure it was not the same situation, she's was naive back then- new to all of...this. But now? No, she's gotten better- which is nothing to be proud of, she thought.

"Everything went good the past few towns..." she mumbled. it's true, the past tasks were easy and quick, maybe too quick...she was rushing- maybe that was stupid, but there were no problems,...so what it is now?

Judith let her head fall into her hands, running her fingers through her long black hair, she let out a soft gentle moan. Tired, she was tired.
Maybe it's all in her head since things have been too easy; maybe her mind isn't too trusting of that, she wondered if--
wait what was that?

Judith raised her head and looked throw her windshield up at the second floor, there was her room, but her attention quickly shifted to the noise coming from 2 doors away from hers.

"What are those kids- wait......wait a damn minute...is that-" her jaw dropped in confusion, was that the Mitchell's kid? What was his name- Chris, yes that's his name.
'What is he doing here, isn't he supposed to be in school or something?' She thought, he was with 4 other kids, all the same age, they looked like a bunch of nerds, she thought.

Judith's eyes were locked on them, it seems like they just got there, they all stood in front of the door as one of them started unlocking it, they were talking- more like kinda...arguing?

"What are you doing out of school Chris Mitchell...." She mumbled to herself.
