"This is it..." Judith mumbled as she stared at the house in front of her from her car. Dylan Hall's house.
She glanced at the man who sat next to her, staring at the house as well. "So how exactly are we going to do this?" She asked.
"Usually this takes a few days...I mean we don't know how many people are-"
The man interrupted her by opening his door and getting out. "P-park your c-car away and meet me at the- the back." He said through the window before walking away towards the house.
Judith's lips parted, she needed more information but he gave her no chance to ask anything. She watched him walk away and shook her head sighing. "This is gonna be a mess.." she mumbled.
After parking her car couple of houses away, Judith checked her phone to see it was 9:23 p.m. and she wondered if they could finish
This whole thing tonight. They have to, because she might not get a second chance with Chris again, and speaking of she hoped she convinced him enough to trust her and stay put until she gets to him.
Judith sighed and decided she needed to collect herself better and take this as seriously as she could. She shoved her phone which now has a use into her pocket and grabbed one of the bags she had in the backseat, the tool bag.
Taking a look inside, she grabbed one of the handguns that had a silencer, which was one of the best things she invested in. She was glad she bought from that sketchy in Austin, after all she wasn't an expert when she first started this job. She also grabbed a pocket knife and extra ammo she could carry in the pockets of the jacket she just put on.
Judith thinking she was done, paused for a minute, this was a different situation, one that she didn't plan or prepare for ahead of time, she didn't have backup plans or calculate her moves which are not good.
She reached into another bag and took out one of her favorite accessories, a bandana.
It was pinkish with a pretty floral design.
She tied it around her neck and decided to use it as a mask in case something happened because she didn't want her face out there. Lastly, she put on her gloves.
After getting what she needed she got out of the car and walked towards the house.
Once she reached the house, she walked along the fence after checking the coast was clear and made it to the back. There she found Toby waiting, with his two hatches in his hands.
'Oh, so that's what he uses them for' she thought.
Taking her eyes from the sharp big shiny objects, she looked at the man in front of her.
"Again, how are we going to do this?" She asked in a low voice, as she took her gun out and made sure it was loaded and ready.
"S-sim-ple. W-we get in a-and take everyone out." He answered.
"Just like that?" She narrowed her eyes.
"Y-yep." The man nodded.
The woman turned away from the man and took a look at the house. The blinds covering almost everything in the house made it difficult, but she checked the front before going to the back and she saw 2 cars parked outside, and which meant there was a chance the family must be home. Plus she knows Dylan is gone for sure since Chris mentioned he's grounded. She turned back to Toby.
"The boy, Dylan is grounded so we are sure he's home. As for the parents and possible siblings or even guests of any sort, they can be all home since their cars are here." She said.
He nodded. "D-doesn't matter w-who's here, n-nobody makes i-it out." He said.
Judith didn't like this, it made her gut twist.
She has to take care of people that had nothing to do with her, she might've ended a lot of people in the past 4 years but she had a good reason behind it. But she pushed that feeling and thoughts away because she'll do whatever she has to do for Him.
"Okay." She sighed and turned back to the house. She pulled the bandana over her mouth using it as a mask.
Toby glanced at her and chuckled.
"W-what's y-your funny n-name?"
Judith shot him a look.
"Haha. Actually, call me Jude...Just Jude."
He nodded then with one of his hatchet, he placed it between the gaps of the back door, and with one swing the lock was off and down on the ground. This made no sound expected for the one the lock made when it hit the ground which was a faint sound.
"And duh-don't worry Judith, we're g-gonna have a gr-eat time on this m-mission. Just make su-sure you don't get in my way." Toby said as he opened the door and walked in slowly and carefully, he was ready with his hatchets in his hands. Judith rolled her eyes and followed after with her gun lowered but ready as well.
When they stepped in, they found themselves in the kitchen, and the lights were out which indicates the residents of the house might've gone to bed. However, from the kitchen, a light can be seen coming from another room, which Judith assumed was the living room. Toby kept walking without hesitation until he stopped at the entrance of the kitchen, he looked like he had taken a look at something and then started walking again, whole Judith stood there watching him.
She soon followed him and paused at the same spot he stopped at. From her spot, she can now see clearly into the living room, where few lights and the TV were on. Also, she can see now that there was someone in there, a man.
He was sitting on a couch facing the tv with his back turned towards her, and towards Toby who was creeping on him. The man would never see him coming, he was too busy watching TV.
Judith stood there watching the whole thing happening, Toby went from standing next to her to standing behind the man on the couch.
She watched as he raised one of his hatchets up in the air ready to strike.
The only reason the man noticed him , was because of one of the sounds Toby made as he twitched, but it was too late.
As the man turned his head to take a look, before he could say or scream anything Toby sent a hatchet flying down and decapitated the man. Sending his head falling onto the carpeted floor.
THUD.
It made a slight noise.
One of Judith's hands came up smacking her bandana-covered mouth shut. The scene was too vicious for her eyes, although she had seen different scenes and many bloods during the past 4 years, which she had caused, this was something new.
"O-oh my god--....w-what in the Patrick Bateman..." her hand fell off her mouth as she took a deep breath.
Toby, done with this one turned and without even sparing her any looks started heading for the stairs. That made Judith snap out of her shocked state and she rushed after him.
As they made it upstairs, they were faced with multiple rooms, however, it wasn't hard to tell which room was which since one room's door was slightly open revealing what looked like the parents' bedroom. As for the boy's room, it must be the one covered with different cringy signs, one of them literally stating it's Dylan's room.
A thought came to Judith.
She got in front of the big man and pointed at the boy's room. "I'll t-take that one.."
she whispered.
Toby didn't mind her at all, instead, his eyes were set on the bedroom where they heard someone calling.
"ROBERT, WHAT WAS THAT?" Someone called, and they both guessed it was the wife.
Toby walked past Judith and headed to the bedroom, while Judith hesitated for a moment before walking towards the boy's bedroom.
Judith stood there for a second in front of the door before holding her gun up in a ready position, then she grabbed the door handle with the other and opened the door.
She was immediately met with probably the most organized and clean teenager bedroom ever. Her eyes didn't need to scan the room for long before they found the boy.
The boy, Dylan Hall sat on his bed with what looked like scattered homework all around him.
The boy looked up from his notebook and at the stranger standing at his bedroom door.
His lips parted and his eyes narrowed in confusion. "Who are you--"
Judith walked in and got closer the moment he looked at her, she raised her gun up and pointed it at him. She was about to talk when a scream came from the other room.
"W-WHAT DO YOU WANT!!- NO--" a woman screamed then it all went silent.
This startled the boy who stood up immediately. "M-mom- MOM?! WH-"
Judith kept her eyes on the boy.
"Don't move." She warned.
The startled boy who was now freaking out turned his attention back to her. "MOM?-- what- who are you!! And what do you-"
"The tapes. You have one of the tapes Chris Mitchell gave to you, hand it over-"
"I-I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALK-"
CLICK--
Judith shot him.
More like a shot at him but missed on purpose, as a warning. Which made the boy fall back and hit the wall behind him.
"Again, where the fuck is the tape!?" She asked getting more aggressive. She kept her eyes on the boy and ignored the figure that came up behind her, which she knew was Toby since she heard his Tics.
"P-lease - please!! I don't want to d-die please!!- I don't- I don't have it I swear I SWEAR!! PLEASE!!-"
"This is the last time I'm asking you..where is the tape." Judith said.
"I DON'T I REALLY DON'T HAVE IT!! You have to believe me please- SHE DOES!! I
g-gave it for her for--"
"Who?!" Judith shouted.
"M-my g-girlfriend.." answered the boy who now had waterfalls coming down his face.
Judith cursed under her breath.
"Why the fuck does your girlfriend have it?! Huh?!" She yelled at the boy.
"M-my mom!! My m-mom goes through my stuff!! I didn't want her to find it and--"
She glanced back who stood behind her swinging one of his hatchets then looked back at the boy. "Where's your phone." She asked.
"M-my phone?-"
"Your phone NOW." She demanded.
The boy pointed to one of the nightstands next to his bed, Judith followed his finger and her eyes fell on the phone placed on the nightstand. She walked over to it and grabbed it then started looking through it.
"What's her name." She asked.
"P-please--"
SLAM-
One of Toby's hatches went flying towards the boy, it missed him by inches hit hitting the wall behind him but that was enough to get the boy talking.
"AH!!- SARAH!! S-SARAH!!" He screamed.
Judith also surprised by this attack, which she didn't expect at all took a look at Toby before looking back at the phone. She found his girlfriend's messages and number, then walked over to the boy and kneeled down.
"You're going to call her-"
"N-no please-"
"YES, fucking listen to me, you're going to call your girlfriend and ask her to bring the tape, you're going to say your friend wants it back now." Judith ordered.
The shivering boy shook his head.
"But W-what if she doesn't come!!"
"Well, That's the thing. You're going to make sure she comes and then," She stood up.
"Then you, your girlfriend, and your parents who are currently tied up are going to be alright." She lied. "We just want the tape." She shrugged. She pointed at Toby behind her. "And if you're not going to listen to me, then maybe you'll listen to him." She kneeled down again and held the phone to his ear.
"And he doesn't do a lot of talking if you know what I mean." She whispered.
The boy stared into her eyes as the phone next to his ear dialed his girlfriend's number on speaker.
"Oh and by the way, don't try anything- like don't be brave okay? It's not gonna end up well." She warned.
'If you cooperate I'll make this quicker for you.' Judith thought.
The boy nodded as he swallowed his throat and when the person, his girlfriend answered he tried putting on a smile to sound normal.
"S-Sarah?" He started.
"Hi, babe~"
"H-hey, um Sarah r-remember that t-tape I gave you? T-to hold onto?"
"Hm? The tape? What ta- oh? The little one? Yeah? What about it- oh wait I just remembered- Dylan do you think Mr. Smith's class--"
"S-Sarah! This is not the time- listen I need you to get the tape, Chris wants it back."
"What? Now?? It's like almost 10 and-"
"No! I mean yes!! Yes, Sarah please! He really needs it back! It's an emergency!"
"Um, why- Dylan? Are you okay-"
"Yes! Yes!! Just bring the tape, Sarah!
C-Chris's here and he wants it back.."
"Seriously I don't feel like walking- but you're lucky I love you, okay I'll be there in 10."
"T-thank you!..a-and Sarah? I love you too.." the boy said as he smiled a bit.
Judith ended the call and stood up, as the boy talked she came up with a plan for when the girlfriend gets here.
She turned to Toby and walked over to him.
"Can you tie him up?.." she asked.
She'd do it herself, but she didn't know how to tie someone up. One might think she knew how because of her "job" but Through the past 4 years she didn't need to, Judith would get the job down real quick on the spot and leave.
The man looked down at her, and she by now could tell whenever he was smiling, this time it was one of them. "W-with p-pleasure." He said before walking to the boy.
The boy struggled and objected at first but he shut his mouth eventually when Toby punched him. He tied and gagged him then walked out to the hallway where Judith stood.
Judith stood outside the boy's room arms-crossed leaning back on the wall, rethinking about all of this. 'All of this is unnecessary..'
she thought. When the man joined her she looked up at Him.
"Can't we just..take the tape and leave? I don't think he watched it.." she said quietly.
The man swinging one of his hatches leaned back on the opposite wall and tilted his head.
"Y-you can do w-whatever you want, but I-If y-you're not g-gonna k-kill them, t-then I will." He said.
"Them?- the girlfriend too?!"
The man nodded.
"S-she knows a-about the tapes."
Judith pursed her lips shut and looked down. He's right, she knows and if this was a different situation where it was a part of her actual job, she'd eliminate her as well because no witnesses needed.
The woman sighed and glanced at the man.
"When she arrives..I'll get her upstairs." She murmured. "I'll get the tape and finish them both." She added.
In her eyes, it was better to be shot than to be sliced up by a huge hatchet. That was the better fate she was going to give them, a quick one.
The man shrugged.
"F-fine bah- by me." He agreed.
The both of them stood there in the dark hallway waiting. A couple of minutes passed without any words until one of them spoke.
"T-this..I-isn't a one-time thing huh?" Toby asked, still leaning on the opposite wall, hands messing with his hatchets.
Judith who stood there arms crossed and head down, looked up at him. "One time?" She asked.
"Y-yeah, with the M-Mitchell's" he continued.
Now she understood what he meant, and oh how she wished it was.
She looked back down and shook her head a little bit. "I wish, but no. It is the last one though." She murmured.
"How lah-long?" The man asked.
Judith's eyes looked back at him, her nose crinkled as she smiled a bit. "Are we doing a question for a question again?" She giggled softly.
Toby tilts his head and it looks like he's smiling. "Y-yeah why not~ An-anything to pass the t-time."
"Well, then I suppose it's my turn to ask, but I'm afraid I have nothing to ask.."
The man shrugged. "Then...y-you can save your question, y-you can ask m-me later." He said.
"Oh, hmm...alright." She nodded and looked back down. "4 years."
"4 years?"
She nodded again.
"Yes, to answer your question it's been almost 4 years now." She glanced at him.
"....What about you--"
Judith finally found a question to ask but she was interrupted by the doorbell ringing.
She glanced at the stairs and then looked at him as she dropped her hands. "She's here.."
"A-are you still g-gonna take care o-of it? Or s-should I?" He asked.
"No, I'll go get her...you can wait in the boy's room." Judith said as she headed downstairs.
When she got downstairs, Judith found her way to the front door. When she got there checked peeked into the living room to make sure the father's body wasn't visible so it wouldn't chase the girl away.
She nodded and exhaled then took off the bandana shoving it into her pocket, she pulled her jacket down to cover her gun and fixed her hair then put on a smile.
When Judith opened the door, she was met with a teenage girl. The girl, Sarah; looked up from her phone and narrowed her eyes at the woman in front of her.
"Hi!~" Judith sang.
"Who are you-"
"Oh hi, you must be Dylan's girlfriend?" She smiled widely as she waved.
"Dylan's upstairs, he's waiting for you with Chris- I'm Chris's cousin, Jude."
The girl blinked, she was confused at first but then smiled as well.
"O-oh hey, Yeah I'm Sarah...I heard about what happened to Chris's parents Mr and-"
Judith dropped her smile.
"Oh yeah, oh no please don't bring it up Chris's all distraught- the poor thing. That's why I'm here, someone needs to be by his side-- oh don't stand there please come on!" She opened the door wide and let the girl walk in.
"Mr. and Mrs Hall are asleep though, so we should keep it quiet, by the way, Chris and Dylan mentioned something about a tape?" Judith asked as she led the girl upstairs.
The girl; Sarah, walked ahead of the woman. "Uh yes, he said Chris wants it back." She nodded. "What's on this tape anyways.."
Judith thought the same, she again found herself wondering about what was on the stupid tapes.
Once they got to Dylan's room which was now shut, Judith got behind the girl and placed one hand behind her back, ready to pull out her gun. The girl opened the door and walked in first, and she was immediately hit with a surprise.
"Hey, babe--...Dylan?!" The girl's mouth dropped as she saw her Boyfriend on the floor tied up with a now black eye, because of the punch Toby had thrown at him earlier.
"W-what's going-" The girl took a step back.
She was about to scream when Judith pushed her forward, and down next to her Bf.
"Scream and the next bullet goes into your head." She warned.
The girl's eyes started watering, and she jumped in her place as she just noticed the man standing on the other side of the room.
"N-no no what is this!! W-what do you want- please don't hurt me!! Please!!-" she turned to her sobbing gagged boyfriend. "W-why..w-why did you make come here!! Why Dylan!!-"
"The tape, now." Judith ordered.
The girl looked up at her.
"T-the- the tape?! Is that all!?- take it!"
She reached into her purse that she carried and threw out for items as she looked for the tape, once she found it she threw her purse away and held up the tape for Judith.
"H-here! Take it! Please j-just leave us be--"
Judith took the tape and shoved it into her pocket. She turned to Toby, and smiled a bit.
"Good, we can leave now right?"
The man narrowed his eyes at the woman, no.
That wasn't a part of the plan but before he could say or do anything the woman spoke.
"Now," Judith looked around for a second before her eyes fell on a couple of long-sleeved shirts, all organized and clean that sat on the edge of the bed. She grabbed two and threw them at the girl. "Here, blindfold him and yourself next."
The girl looked down at the clothes confused.
"W-what- why?-"
"Come on, just do it. So you won't see us leaving."Judith said.
The girl looked at her for a minute before she turned to her boyfriend who shook his head objecting but she didn't mind him and instead listened to the woman. The girl blindfolded her bf then herself and waited.
Toby, who didn't get what the woman was doing moved from where he was standing and approached Judith. "W-what are y-"
Judith stayed quiet and put a finger on her lips motioning to him to stay quiet as she shook her head. She raised her gun up and pointed at the teens on the floor.
"We are..gonna go now." She said quietly.
Sarah's hand found its way to her boyfriend's.
She nodded. "O-okay."
Judith nodded and She stared at them for a moment. 'This is unnecessary..' she thought.
But she had no choice.
So she shot 2 silent bullets.
Two bodies lay on the ground next to each other, they went quickly and without any of them witnessing the death of the other.
Judith lowered her gun and breathed as she was holding her breath.
"Let's get out of here.." she said in a low voice.
The man next to her wasted no time and walked out. She took a second looking back at them.
"I'm sorry." She mouthed, before walking out.
