little did he know,
thousands of years would pass
and his words would mean
as much to others,
as they did to him now.

A time would come when
his recollections would
save lives and shape the future.
But for now he sits
trying to describe,
everything he knows
about his culture.

The enemy is great,
the fear a reality
and should never be ignored.
A Great Wolf,
who could destroy
all that we know,
as was foretold.

His maker taught him
everything he knew,
of things that were to come
but were still unclear.

For his own sanity
he has documented,
yet one day his predictions
would become reality.
