Daya was sitting in a garden with munching some snacks.

Abhi tried calling him alot of times but he dosent pick it up rather dropped a message telling him that he is fine. Its been almost 5 hours now from the time he left the engagement hall.

It was around 11 in the night, he was alone sitting in the garden with only some street dogs around. One of the dog was shreya- daya friend.

Daya:(lightly)Cheete...

Flashback:-

One of the Sunday Daya Abhi were talking a walk in this area when they saw some uproar within public, they reach to them thinking something might have happened and to their suprise it was shreya fighting with some teenager.

Daya:Shreya, kya hua?

Abhi:tum yaha kya kar rahi ho.

Shreya:ek minute sir, (looking at the teenagers)Dekho tum log bacho isliye main tumhare against complain nahi Kari.

Daya:(worried)complain?kyu kya hua?

Shreya:sir dekhiye ye log bhi ajeeb hain insaaniyat naam ki cheez hi nahi rahi.

Abhi:Shreya hua kya hain?

Teenager:kuch nahi sir, ye madam ko lagta hain street dogs ko aise pakadna galat hain.

Shreya:Main bas ye kehrahi hu ki ye dogs ne kisi ko bite kiya kisko pareshan kiya nahi na?Aur dekho wo samne thodi dur pe ek uncle aunty rehte hain ye dogs raat mein yaha ghumte rahenge to acha rahega sabke liye. Aur ye lo mera number hain agar koi problem hogi iss dog ke karan to mujhe call karna.

The boy's discuss something and were about to take the number when Daya takes the number and give his in place of shreyas. She was suprised & Abhi smirks at him.

The crowd disappears while Abhi moves making a excuse to grab water from near by store. Daya looks at shreya who was patting the dog. Daya sit beside her looking at the dog and the moves his tail crawling near him. Shreya smiles at the action.

Shreya:Cheete ko bhi aap pasand ho.

Daya:(looking at her)ko bhi???

Shreya:(smiling)aap to sabko pasand ho na sir.

Daya:hmm waise tum akele sabse bhid jaati ho? Kisiko help ke liye bulana chaiye na.

Shreya:Sir, abh wo logo ko dogs se darlagta hain iska ye matlabh nahi hain na ki hum sare street dogs khed karde. Isliye ladna padta hain aur main itni choti baat mein help ki kya zarurath hain.

Daya:Shreya, tum bhi na. Kabhi kabhi help lene mein burai nahi hain.(she smiles and he kept looking at dog and her)

Daya:Aaj sach mein sab khatam hogaya cheete , sab kuch. Pata hain zindagi kitni hasin hogayi thi uske aane se. Uski choti choti baatein se rang bhar gaaye the meri life mein lekin(controlling his tears)abh aisa kuch nahi rahega na wo galti se sher ke marne se singhh ka dar, na same pinch same outfit nahi wo nazro mein main dekh paunga na uss ki chot pe abh mujhe taklif hogi. (He gulp down his sorrow patting dogs back while he share his snacks with them.

Today everything ended again for him. He wished something else but again he lost everything, was it his mistake yes may be because if, he would have said anything then may be things would be different but now there is no space for maybe.

He grumbled the packets throwing it in dustbin getting up and turns to find shreya standing infront of him. He gets tensed and shocked to see her.

For a second his heart wished she was here for him, but then he stopped his wish worrying about others. She was staring at him with worry in her eyes where the moment he saw her something changed in his eyes.

Daya:(rubbing his eyes to make sure it's not his imagination)Shreya tum iss wat yaha wo bhi aaj ke din?

Shreya:Aap kyu chale gaaye sir?(Daya confusingly looks at her)sir aap function khatam hone tak kyu nahi ruk?

Daya:(taking heavy sigh)sab khatam hi hogaya hain abh aur rukne ki kya zarurath?

Shreya: (lowering her head)Mujhe aapko thankyou kehna tha aapse..

Daya:(interpets faking a smile)Thankyou kis liye?

Shreya:(looking at his eyes)aapne Siddharth ki jaan bachai aapni jaan khatre mein dalke aur..

Daya:(again interprets with continue same smile)ismein thankyou ki kya baat, hum ye sab aaye din karte rehete hain. Aur..

Shreya;(getting little irritated)aap hamesha yahi karte hain(he stare her with confusion) aap ne kabhi meri puri baat suni hi nahi aur aaj bhi jab main yaha aapke pass apne sare rishto ko peeche chod ke aayi hu to kam se kam abh to meri ek baar baat sunlijiye...

Her eyes were getting moist while he was looking at her with confusion and worry.

Daya:Shreya...

Shreya:sir, please....

Daya looks at her with helplessness while tears roll down her eyes. There was complete silence for few minute, daya feeling his pain wasn't able to utter a word or disturb her while shreya was trying to hold back her tears.

Shreya:(taking deep breathe)Aapne aaj Siddharth ko waqt rehte bacha ke meri family ki izaat aur mujhe pe assan kiya hain.(daya try to utter but seeing her glaring face between her moist eyes keep quite)sir, main iss sagai ke phele aapse ek baar baat karna chati thi. Aapko sach batana chati thi(Daya narrow his eyes)Lekin case aur kidnapping ke chalte waqt nahi mila. Sir (lowering her head)Siddharth acha ladka hain wo mujhse khush rakhega aur abh humari sagaai hogayi hain aur ..

Daya:(interpets)Main janta hu shreya aur sach kahu to main tumhare liye khush hu.

Shreya: Aur apne liye?

Daya:(shocked)matlabh?(stammering) mere liye..main theek hu shreya tumhe meri fikar karne ki..

Shreya: (smiling sadly)Aapko ye to pata hogana ki aap bohut ache hain(Daya looks at her face then lower his head) lekin kya aap ye jante hain ki kabhi kabhi itna acha hone ki zarurath nahi hoti hain.

Daya raise his head instantly looking at her while she was sadly smiling at her, a small tear drop roll down her eyes. He take a step forward to wipe that tear but she stops him taking back step, she roll her finger over her engagement ring while he stair at the ring.

Shreya:Sir, mujhe aapne jo letter likha wo mila(his eyes widen on the news)lekin kafi der hogayi thi. Kaise kyu kya hua ye sare sawaal ke jawab abh zaruri nahi hain. (She wipe her tears)Aapne meri khushiyo ke liye, meri family ki khusiya ke liye hamesha socha hain. Itna ki apni khusiya bhul gaaye.

Daya:Shreya, please main tumhe rote hua nahi dekh sakta wo bhi aaj ke din, aaj tumhari life ka sabse bada din hain naye zindagi ki taraf ye tumhara ohela kadam hain. Isliye please jaane do Puranik baato ko.

Shreya:(gluping her tears)wahi kar rahi hu sir, Main aaj yaha aapko aur apne aapko iss bina kahe so rishte se rihaa karne aayi hu.(daya was intensely staring at her)main janti hu mera aapke zindagi mein na rehne se aap ko aage bhadne mein problem nahi hogi lekin main phir bhi chati hu ki aap aage bhade iss rishte ko ek boj nahi kuch(smiling)ke khubsurat pal samjhke yaadein mein rakke aage bhad jaiyega.

Daya:(tears roll down his eyes)Tum mujhe apne aapko bhulne ko keh rahi ho?(she looks at him with tears in them)Shreya agar tumne mera letter padha hain to tum ye janti hogi ki main tumhare liye kya feel karta hu aur chaiye tum mere saath raho ya na raho main tumhe hamesha yaad rakhunga bas waqt lagega iss baat ko manne mein ki tum abh meri life ka hissa nahi rahogi.

Shreya:(cover her mouth with tears flowing from her eyes)sorry sir lekin main...main

Daya:(looking at her interpeting)kabhi kabhi do log ek dusre ko pasand karte hua bhi ek nahi ho sakte. (Wiping tears)main nahi chata kabhi meri wajha se tumhe problem ho lekin haa main hamesha tumhare(she raise her eyes looking at her while he take a deep breathe)mera matlabh hain tumhari help ke liye rahunga. (Trying to smile)Abh hum saath kaam karte hain to dost to reh hi sakte hain.

Shreya:(lowering her head)Maine kosish ki thi sir lekin bohut der hogayi thi, iss baar na sahi iss janam na sahi lekin (crying)uss par ek aur jahan hain waha main aapka intezar karungi. (His eyes also gets moist)Main jaa rahi hu sir, iss Shere se iss office se..

Daya:(shocked)Shreya..

Shreya:Mujhese nahi hoga, wo hasti ladki jo yaha cid mein aayi thi wo abh mere saath nahi hain, nayi zindagi shuru ho rahi hain aur main uss pe concrete karna chati hu. (Daya slowly take a step back)

Daya:(sadly)job chod rahi ho..

Shreya:(wiping her tears again)nahi sir, transfer ho raha hain. Naye sher mein nayi zindagi ki shurvat hogi. Ahmedabad mein shaadi hogi aur main nahi chati ki aap ya koi bhi shaadi pe aaye.(daya looks at her)agar aap aaye to main..

Daya:(turning to otherside)Tumhe mujhe kuch explain karne ki zarurath nahi hain.

Shreya:(eyes again filled with tears)Kuch din yahi hu, phir chali jaaungi aur aap sab theek rehna.

Daya:(little sadly and angrly)Ye batane aayi thi yaha?

Shreya:(nodding her head)sabse phele aapko hi bataya, aap chale gaaye the isliye yaha aayi.

Daya looks at sky gluping his tears while she kept looking at him.

Shreya:Sir aap khush rahenge na?

Daya:(turning to her slowly)Main abhi bhi khush hu aur rahunga.

They were for the last time looking at eachother eyes when suddenly rain start pouring. Daya immediately put hands on Shreya head while she step back and he kept looking at her.

Shreya:Aaj maat kijiye sir, aaj bhe jaane dijiye iss paani ko apne upar se.

Daya:(staring at her)Tumhara yaha se jaana hi theek hain. (She looks at him with drenching in rain)Inn aankho mein itni ajnabee phechan dekhne ki adath nahi hain mujhe.

Shreya close her eyes while both of them kept drenching in rain and he keep staring at her for the last time. The rain droplets were making work of their heart. It was sobbing in the fate game, yet another love story ended with 2 people heart breaking.

Daya:(thinking looking at her) Pyaar ka matlabh hamesha saath rehna nahi hota kabhi kabhi beechke bhi dost rehne ko bhi khushi kehte hain.

Shreya:(thinking with closed eyes)kash main ruk sakti, kash main aapka saath de pati.. "kash" ye sab iska hi to khel hain.(looks at daya slowly opening her eyes)Phele sach jaan nahi paayi aapse kuch keh nahi payi aur abh kahungi kuch to galat hoga.

she again roll her finger over her ring while he looks at her then at ring and slowly turns away gluping his tears while she slowly wishper leaving.

Shreya:Main jaa rahi hu sir, aap hamesha khush rahe yahi chati hu. Bye sir.

Daya feels her leaving and slowly turn around seeing running from there. He walks few steps forward only to fall down on his knees crying his heart out. The rain was only getting heavier making it more painful for him.

Shreya sits in the car backside wiping her tears. Abhirika looks back at her while both feel sad for Dareya.

Tarika:(worried)Shreya theek ho tum?

Shreya:(lowering her head)hmm Abhijeet sir wo..

Abhi:Main shambhal lunga tum Ghar jaau isse phele ki uncle aunty ko ye pata chale tum waha nahi ho.(she nodes, Abhi looks at tarika) tarika tum shreya ko leke jaao main yaha dkehta hu.

They get down while Abhi grabs umbrella and tarika gets some tissue and pass to shreya coming over driver seat. Tarika drives back to shreya home looking at her through rare view mirror.

Tarika:Itna dard hain to apna faisla badaldo.

Shreya:(looking outside the window) kosish ki thi lekin main wo nahi karsakti. (Smile looking at her ring)Aaj bhi ladkiya apne bohut sare sapno ko khusiya ko ek rishte ke liye chod deti hain.

Tariak:kya sahi chuna tune?

Shreya:(smirking sadly)Sahi galat mein se chun bhi lu par sahi aur sahi mein se kaise chunu? Jo hain abh yahi hain.

Tarika gets silent concentrating on driving while shreya keep looking at window as moving forward leaving all the memories with daya back. Their scenes were passing on the car window and tears kept rolling down.

Daya was still sobbing while Abhi held umbrella on his head feeling sad for his best friend. Daya slowly looks up at Abhi & his eyes were also moist as he was helpless for his friend.

Daya:(sobbing)Ma..ma...maine usse iss rishte se azaad kardiya Boss...

Abhi sit on his knees with still holding umbrella on daya head, daya looks at him with tears and abhi hugs him with moist eyes.

Dareya were separated forever while both of their heart sobbed for eachother happiness and care. The bond they shared the cute moments they been having now and them, the teasing they were experiencing from other and sweetly some where in corner of heart enjoying has finally ended.

Now again his life was back to being a strick officer without her worry or grief, his heart cried on the same thought but he was helpless and just kept looking at her step by step moving away from her.

Shreya wished for life with him, she truly wished where as he was in confusion for a very log time and took a long time realise his true feelings, now he was suffering for the same.

Daya never thought this would be the end result and the stranger feeling was more painful for him more than not seeing her anymore.

The story of Dareya ended breaking millions of hearts along with theirs.
