Chapter 20 :

Shreya opened her eyes as the sunray fell on her eyes, she rubbed her eyes look out the window while the sun peeked at her. She yawed getting up from her moving to her cupboard and opening the wooden box where she hid a small location tracker which she always checked 1st thing in the morning, The lights beeped in it as she kept it back. 

She comes to her window as she looks at the beautiful sun and wind start playing with her hair.  She crossed her hands around her stomach while closing eyes feeling the wind, this feeling this routine will end soon, apart from everything going on her heart only whispered a small wish.

Shreya : Kanhaji wo theek hain na? 

She was lost when she saw her mom in the lawn area as she was watering the plants directing the servants to take of things while they were away. She smiled at her mom, she was always worried about shreya always gets ready and completing her work fastly and never get tired. She was sick yet she wanted to do all the thing by herself in her daughter's wedding.

Shreya jerks her head as she remember she has to drop her parents to airport and before that she also has visit the temple. She scolded herself for dragging things and in hurry picked out the outfit from cupboard while an envelop drop out and falls down. It was a brown envelop with shreya name on it, she did not notice and goes to freshup. 

After a while she was at bureau gate mummering sweetly to herself.

Shreya: Ofho kitna late hogaya, ye airpot ke raste mein itni traffic kyu hoti hain hamesha. 

She came back from airport  after dropping her parents as they were visiting Surat for remaining wedding shopping. Siddharth would be back this week and then she will be busy with her wedding preparation. Before that she has to finish her last promise made to daya by her. It was the most difficult and important one. 

She was thinking and climbing the stairs when she hit her head to someones back, she hold her head looks up and gets stunned to see Daya looking at her. He eyes gets wide open with mouth in O shape.

Daya:(smiling leaning towards her with hand at his back)Itni bhagam doudi karogi to tabiyat kharab hojayegi, dhayan rakha karo khud ka (then staring into her eyes)Hone wali dulhan ko kaamo mein nahi uske khayalo mein hona chaiye jo uska hain. 

She sadly smile lowering her head, a tear drop escape while she hear a voice and turn around to find Kavin there.

Kavin : Tu yaha aise kyu khadi hain? (he notice the sadness in her eyes)kya hua tujhe sab theek hain na?

She quickly make a excuse while kavin keep looking at her keenly.

Shreya : kuch nahi bas aakh mein kuch udke chala gaaya aur kuch nahi, acha ye sab chod aur ye bata ki tu kal kaha tha? (kavin smiles avoiding her climb stairs followed by her) Kavin, sun to..

They enter breau as looks at them, she looks around to make sure Abhi is not there, Kavin move to his desk while his mind was occupied with thoughts. He looked at the desk then beside him at Abhi desk, shreya noticed the difference in his behavior.

Shreya : Kavin kya hua hain?(he looks at her while faking a laughter as she jerks her head)haha tu kitni cute lagti hain meri chinta karte hu. Main to kehta hu ki tu chod Siddharth ko aur mujhse hi shaadi karle.(winks at her)

Shereya : Theek hain tu mummy papa se baat karle agar wo managaye to mandap mein tu bheth jaana.(She smiles while Kavin notice a sad smile in her while all looked her)Acha sab log suniye aaj shamko ko bohut zaruri baat karni hain mujhe to cafeteria mein milte hain. Sachin sir aap Rajat sir ko batadijiyega please. 

He nodes thinking if he is ok or not as shreya remember somthing again hitting her head she glaring at kavin.

Shreya: Kavin, tu kal ghar kyu nahi aaya?

Kavin:(hesitating)wooo haa hospital gaaya tha to wahi sogaya injection leke.

Shreya:(suspiciously) puri raat? Subha tak?

Kavin: hmm haa abh meri interrogation band kar aur sun suresh uncle London se aaye hain to kuch din main unke saath rahunga.

Shreya:kyu?

Kavin:ofho ye bhi batana hoga, yaar teri shaadi hone wali hain uncle aunty nahi the to main tere saath rahunga to acha thodi na lagega. (Shreya glare at him as he laughs) acha baba sach batata hu wo suresh uncle kuch dino ke liye London se yaha aaye hain aur janti hain na tu wo mummy ke dur ke bhai hain abh wo itna keh rahe to unke saath rehta hu phir wo jaane ke baad wapas aajunga.

She nodes while he stuck his eyes in file as a thought keep pooping in his head. All gets engrossed in working the whole day while kavin was distracted, Nikhil was continuisly getting calls while he keep disconnecting them sachin, shreya mom keep sending her dress to chose while she was managing everything. Sachin was worried about Rajat not showing up. Finally in the late afternoon Rajat join them all as sachin sighed smiling. Abhi was monitoring everyone from glass conference cabin as he was lost in his own thoughts.

In the evening Sachvi - Kavin and Rajat were at the bureau cafeteria waiting for shreya while ordereding some sandwich and pizza for themselves. Kavin was hungry and he grabbed some chips packed while joking he was eating chips packets back to back. Rajat was getting tired hearing Kavin not stop talks.

Rajat : (sadly looking at Kavin)tum kitni batein karte ho? ek din baat nahi karoge to kuch hojayega kya? (Purvi looked at sachin while he tie to manage the situation)

Sachin : Rajat kya tum bhi, mujhe acha lagta hain baatein karna hain na purvi.(she smiles)

Kavin : exactly baatein karo taki dil mein jo bhi hain na keh sako warna dil ki baat dil hi mein rehjati hain yaar.

Rajat looked at him keenly thinking something as shreya interpeted them. Rajat looked at her smiling while sachin noticed him.

Sachin : (looking at Rajat)Shreya,aagayi tum acha abh batao sabko yaha milne kyu kaha?

Shreya: (nodding in yes looking at all) waqt aagaya hain.

Kavin:(looks at her) matlabh?

Shreya: Matlabh Maine kaha tha na tujhse Tarika - Abhijeet sir ke baremein.

Kavin: (explaining his point)Main already koshish to kar raha hoon na dekhna tune case ke dauran main kitna flirt karta hu Tarika se lekin Abhijeet sir react hi nahi kare.

Sachin:haa, wo kuch bolte hi nahi bilkul apni love life chod hi di hain.

Rajat : (staring at sachin)Jinko apne love life jeeni hain usse to jeene nahi dere.

Sachin stare back at him while shreya kavin purvi were confused and Rajat smiles staying its a joke. All smiles at him while shreya noticed a taunt in his smile towards Sachin then jerking the thoughts she again concentrate on topic with purvi words.

Purvi:phele to Abhijeet sir kitna gussa hojate the agar koi Tarika se flirt kare tab but abh wo sirf sabkuch apne andar hi rakhlete hain.

Kavin: Mere dimag waise hi nahi chalra tum log hi socho kuch.

Rajat: (sadly)Par Abhijeet sir Tarika ko bohut pasand karte hain.

Shreya: Bilkul sahi kaha Rajat sir aapne (he looks at her)aur main jitna jaana hain unhe farak to pad raha hain bas bolna baki hain.

Pankaj- Freddy join them in the meanwhile getting there sandwich.

Freddy: Aaj case ke dauran bhi Tarika gussa mein thi Abhijeet sir pe.

Pankaj:Mujhe to lagta hain daya sir ki taraha Abhijeet bhi kuch nahi kahenge.

All looks at pankaj, Kavin who taking a bite of sadwich looks at shreya while he lower eyes sadly remembering Daya.  Pankaj looks at everyone and bites his lips and looks at shreya who was  lost in thoughs. Kavin keepback the sandwich meanwhile Rajat glares at Pankaj then to diverting the topic.

Rajat: Nikhil kaha hain?

Freddy:Wo Abhijeet sir ke saath headquarters gaaya hain usse kuch baat karni hain Abhijeet sir se.

Rajat: Mujhe lagta hain, (looking at all)jab tak abhijeet sir ko ye nahi lagega ki wo tarika se dur ho rahe hain wo kuch nahi kahenge (mummers) meri tarha.. (All looks at him)

Sachin:(glares at him) Rajat ka matlabh hain ki Abhijeet sir rajat ke idol hain aur wo reserve hain to shayad aisa kuch hona chaiye jisse abhijeet sir ki feeling apne bas mein na rahe aur wo keh de Tarika ko sab kuch sach sach.

Purvi:kyu na hum aise koi situation create kare jisse abhijeet sir apne dil ki baat tarika ko kehde.

Pankaj:par kya karenge?mujhe to bhook lag rahi hain.

Freddy:pankaj khana nahi abhijeet sir ke baremein socho..

Shreya:aap sab bilkul sahi keh rahe ho aur mere pass ek idea hain lekin wo bohut bade scale pe hain.

Rajat:matlabh?

Shreya:(smirkingly smiles)Kavin tayar hoja ismein tera role main hain. Aur hum sab supporting role hain. Aur iske baad to Abhijeet sir ko apne dil ki baat tarika se khena hi hoga.

All share a look, Kavin finishes his sandwich and dust his hand and raise his color.

Kavin:main to tayar hoon par tu to bata ki baat kya hain? Mujhe aisa kya karna hain..

Shreya smiles and share the plan with everyone, all were shocked with plan.

Sachin:tumhe lagta hain ye plan success hoga?

Purvi:(hitting him on shoulder)Sachin iss plan ka pura hona bohut zaruri hain. Tum bhi na shubh shubh bola karo.

Sachin:(join hands) sorry meri pyaari patni.. Sirf shubh shubh kahunga.. {All smiles looking at them, purvi was blushing}

Kavin:haiye kya pyaar hain..Uff (Sachvi again blush)

Shreya:Abh bas iss week mein ye plan ko khatam karna hain. Par iss plan ke baremein galti se bhi na hi Tarika ko aur na hi Abhijeet sir ko pata chalna chaiye.. Main nikhil se badmein baat karungi lekin aap sab logo ko ye dhayan rakhana hain specially Pankaj aur Freddy sir aapko..

Purvi:haa iss plan ka pura hona bohut zaruri hain,(feeling sad) main apni dusri dost ka dil tuthte hua nahi dekh sakti.(Sachin clench her hand and she realizes what she just said while all again look at shreya and she looks down)Shreya mera..

Shreya: purvi, tarika ka dil nahi tutega, (smiles)hum hain na.. (They all smile while she mummers)mujhe apna ye vaada pura karna hain.

They all again looks at her while she glances at all smiling,She places her right hand front and all join one by one. Now this week she has to complete the last promise before her wedding.

Nextday: After the Case was solved, shreya was signalling Kavin to approach Abhi but he was to scared. She glare at him while he take deep breath and slowly walks to Abhi as Abhi turns Kavin quickly seat near pankaj looking in his file. All hit their head as Abhi passes from there and go in Acp sir cabin. 

Shreya glares at him and he gets up slowly looking at shreya he was walking back and hit Abhi hand who saw him coming back wards and his hands on his back. Kavin turn and looks at Abhi while he had serious look on his face.

Kavin:(smiling)Abhijeet sir app yaha?

Abhi :(looking around as all stuck their head in files or computer and Abhi again looks at Kavin)Ye bureau hain to main yahi rahunga? 

Kavin :(gluping his breathe)Right.. very good point. 

Shreya hold her head while Abhi moves giving Kavin wired looks , Kavin looks at Shreya disaapointed face and kqv8n shouts his name.

Kavin:Abhijeet sir.. (Abhi turns back while kavin slide his legs towards Abhi as Abhi looks at him with wide open eyes)sir..wo..wo actually aapse ek personal favour chaiye tha.

Abhi:(looking at him suspiously) personal favor?(glance at shreya) Shreya ke hote hua tumhe mujhse kya personal favor chaiye..(Kavin looks at shreya then again at abhi)mera matlabh hain woh tumhari bachpan ki dost hain to jo chaiye tum usse kehsakte sakto na.

Kavin:(thinking)yahi problem hoti hain cid officers ki,jaldi convince hi nahi hote hain. Abh kya bolu jisse inhe main convincing lagu..

Abhi:kya hua kya soch raheho?

Kavin:Sir darsal baat hi aisi hain, abh ladko ki baat hain to shreya se kya puchu aap hi batao. Aap meri help kar sakte hain.. Please sir.. (joining hands)

Abhi:(sighing)bolo kya help chaiye..

Kavin:sir phele aap promise kijiye aap meri help zarur karenge..

Abhi:(shockingly)aiye...ye kya baat hui,phele batao baat kya hain?

Kavin:Sir aap phele vaada kijiye please.. Please.. {Kavin start doing his drama with joining hands, touching legs and abhijeet finally gives up as all were looking at them.}

Abhi:theek hain vaada, abh batao baat kya hain.{Kavin takes Abhi in the bureau corridor while he was confused and all were stealing glancing at them}

Kavin:Sir, wo actually mujhe pata chala hain ki iss week Tarika ke parents aarahe hain mumbai ghumne.

Abhi:(stunned for a minute)kyaaa... (then stare at kavin)ye tumhe kaise pata chala?

Kavin:(smiling)Tarika ne bataya..

Abhi:(again in the same stunned expression)ohh.. Par tumhe tarikaji ke parents se kya kaam hain?

Kavin:Are sir samjhiye naa, Mujhe Tarika ke parents se milna padega wo bhi iss tarike se ki wo convince hojaye ki tarika mere saath khush rahegi.

Abhi:(shocked)kya?(his hands slip from the corridor window then he balances himself) Ye...ye..Kya bol rahe ho?

Kavin:Sir aap to aise ban rahe ho jaise aapko mere dil ki baat nahi pata.

Abhi;(immediately) Nahi pata aur waise bhi jante kya ho tum tarika ke baremein jo aisi utpatang baatein kar rahe ho.

Kavin:(dreamingly)sir, jitna jana tha utna jaan liya abh baki saadi ke baad ke..

Abhi:(irritated interpets shouting)dimag kharab hogaya hain kya tumhara..Tum tarika se sirf flirt kar rahe the phir ye achanak shaadi kaha se aagayi?

Kavin:Sir,flirt to phela step hota hain dosti ki shurwat ka aur phir abh tarika aur main ache dost hain.

Abhi looks at him while he make a cute face,Abhi take a heavy sign annoyed but control his anger.

Abhi:Kavin tum samjh nahi rahe ho.

Kavin:sir, abhi samjhna ka nahi action ka time hain. (Streach his hand in air then set his hair)Mujhe tarika ke parents ko impress karna hain aur ek baar wo impress hogaye to phir sab apne aap sahi hojayega.

Abhi:(try to explain)Kavin dekho..

Kavin:sir, aap bas mujhe koi case assign maat kijiyega..(Abhi glares at him) wo kya hain na(blushing) main aunty uncle ke aane ki tayari mein rahunga aur haa aap mujhe unke loye kuch gift suggest kijiye.. Aap tarika ke best friend hain to aapko kuch to pata hogana.

Abhi:(thinking)Best friend ye hu abh main?

Kavin:(acting confused)Ji?

Abhi:(shouting irritated)are yaar tum dekhlo, Itna sab soch liya hain to ye sab bhi dekhlo. Main kya batau..

Kavin;Sir aap gussa kyu ho rahe ho?

Abhi:(controlling his anger)Main kaha gussa ho raha hu.. Main bas bol raha hu mujhe nahi pata tum dekhlo. (He was moving when Kavin hold his hand)

Kavin:Sir, aapne promise kiya tha aap meri help karenge.

Abhi:are yaar kaha phasa rahe ho.

Kavin:sir please..

Abhi:(goes to say something then somthing strikes his mind and say)wo tarika ko cotton ki old fashion saree bohut pasand hain uske saath green tea bag ka bouquet bana ke dena.

Kavin:(confusingly)old fashion ki cotton saaree aur green tea bag ka bouquet?

Abhi:haa aur mom dad,i mean Tarika ke parents ke liye tum uncle ke liye joote le jaana unhe shoes bohut pasand hain aur aunty ke liye tum jewellery lejana wo bhi heavy wali jo wo maharani jewellery aati hain na wo wali. Dekhna wo bohut pasand aayengi.

Kavin:(keenly looking at him)sachi sir?

Abhi:jab tumhe meri suni hi nahi hain  to pucha hi kyu?

Kavin:sorry sir, aisa nahi hain ki mujhe nahi suna ya bharosa nahi hain wo actually itna wired options hain ye isliye bas puchliya..

Abhi:(smirking)Are bilkul nahi dekhna ye sab bohut acha lagega.

Kavin:theek hain sir agar aap keh rahe hain to hoga ni.(clap his hands)Phir main abhi jaake shopping karta hu, thankyou so much sir.

{Kavin hugs Abhijeet and comes inside takes his things and show a thumps up to shreya and all while leaving from bureau smiling. Abhi comes inside the bureau thinking}

Abhi:Tarika ne mujhe nahi batayi ye parents wali baat.

Sachin:(winking shouts)purvi dekho main abhi bata raha hu,sunday free rehna hame Tarika ke parents se milne jaana hain.

Purvi:haa bilkul, shreya tum bhi aarahi ho na.

Shreya:haa abh Tarika ne sunday ko lunch arrange kiya hain Hotel Park mein jana to hoga na.

Rajat:Hum sab saath hi chalte hain, sabko invitation mila hain na?

Nikhil:haa, Tarika aaj hi mujhse keh rahe the ki kisi bhi tarha aana hi hoga.

Freddy:Haa, kuch baat to hain.

Sachin: Koi important baat announce karni hain shayad, maine jitna suna hain.

Pankaj:(confused)par tarika ne mujhe to kuch nahi kha.. aap sabko kab bulaya aur mujhe kyu nahi?{All looks at him, shreya glare at him}

Shreya:(looking at pankaj grinning her teeth)Are parso phone kiya tha na tab tumhe bhi invite kiya tha..bhul gaaye. {Pankaj recollect their pla}

Pankaj;haa yaad aaya yaad aaya..Mujhe to kaha bhi lunch hain isliye mujhe to aana hi hoga.

Abhi:(Now abhi cant listen)Tarika ne tum sabko lunch pe apne parents se milne bulaya?

Shreya:Haa sir, aap ko bhi bhulaya na? (Before abhijeet answers)Wo actually phele usne Kavin ko bulaya phir hum sabko bulaya.

Sachin:Aaj kal Kavin aur Tarika dinner date pe jaa rahe hain na, lagta hain koi to baat hain.

Rajat:mujhe to laga raha hain koi good news milne wali hain hame.

Nikhil:Aaj kal shaadi ka mausam jo chal raha hain, phele Sachin sir aur Purvi,abh shreya aur shayad abh..

Shreya:Nikhil,(looking at Abhi) thodina abh Tarika ne aisa kuch kaha..

Freddy:pata hain mujhe kya lagta hain.. Agar kuch baat nahi hoti to Tarika ke parents nahi aate...

Purvi:Lagta hain iss cid ke sari female officers ki shaadi jald hi hojayegi.

Abhi who was listening to evryone becomes restless and moves out without a second, everyone smile that they plan started working.Abhijeet drives to forensic and enter the office, Salunke was not there and Tarika was discussing something with Vaibhav while they get stunned to see Abhijeet there.He walks up to her and ask her to meet outside forensic office.

Abhi:Tarikaji please jaldi se mujhe forensic office ke bhar miliye.

Tarika: baat kya hain abhijeet?

Abhi:aap aayena, batata hoon.

Tarika follow him outside, Vibahv text shreya about Abhijeet. She immediately texts Tarika regarding something but she doesn't check her phone.

Outside the forensic lab:-

Tarika:(floding her arms across)Bolo kya baat hain Abhijeet?

Abhi:(looks at her keenly)Aaj kal aap mujhe kuch batana zaruri nahi samjh rahi hain na?

Tarika:(angrily)Kuch bhi batane ke liye tum ho kya yaha?  (Abhi looks at her) Tum ho mere saath batao..?

Abhi:Tarika ek baat batao kya jo hamara rishta tha wo khatam ho chuka hain?(tarika stare at his expressions)

She remember last night when kavin shared with her about he hearing about Daya and Shreya and she thinks Abhi is talking about the same thing and is angry about Kavin knowing about dareya.

Abhi:(continue)abh main itna praya hogaya hu ki tumne mujhe ye bhi batana zaruri nahi samjha ki..

Tarika:(interpets)Abhijeet tum jante ho sirf dinner pe saath chalne se sirf baatein karne se sirf ye jatane ki tumhe meri fikar hain. Uske saath bond hamesha ke liye maintain karna zaruri hota hain. (Getting angry that daya let shreya go)Uss rishte ko naam bhi dena zaruri hota hain specially jab ek dusre ko jante hua itna samay hojaye.

Abhi: Isliye tum itni aasani se Kavin ke rishte ki baat maan gaayi.

Tarika:(confused)Rishte ki baat?

Abhi:(turning around irritated)haa kavin me rishta aage bhadha ko kaha aur tum jhat se maangaayi wahaa.

Tarika was still thinking that Abhi is talking about Dareya and he is angry that kavin is aware of them.

Tarika: (sighing)jo rishta shuru bhi nahi hua uska khatam hone ka kya dhuk mana rahe ho Abhijeet?

Abhi gets stunned and turned around looking at her with unbelievable look in his eyes while she was staring at him.

Abhi:kya matlabh hain tumhara?

Tarika:(taking sigh)Abhijeet main janti hu tum kavin ko pasand nahi karte lekin wo acha ladka hain, wo aisa kuch galat nahi karega ya kisi ke saath bura nahi kar sakta,(smiles at kavin wiredness)bina kuch chupaye apni baatein kehjaata hain, upar se wo dil ki baat kehne se bhi nahi jhikta isliye mujh..

Abhi:(interpets)hoo to baat yaha tak pahunch gaayi hain.

Tarika:(in her heart)mujhse shreya aur daya ki baat kehdi....(confused)Abhijeet?

Abhi:Sorry jo main yaha puchne aagaya.. Abh itna aage baat bhad hi gaayi hain to mujhe nahi lagata mujhe aur kuch kehna chaiye..

Tarika:(disappointed)tumhe sach mein yaha ye baat karne aaye the?(Abhi looks around while she hold his hand)Abhijeet, tumhe iske alawa mujhse aur kuch nahi kehna hain?

Abhi:nahi..

She leaves his hand with jerk while he look at her, he was angry and she was confused.. At the same time shreya reach forensic looks at them, Abhi without saying a word anymore leaves. Shreya who hiding behind a car comes to Tarika , she looks at her with tears in her eyes. Shreya wipes her tears and they hug eachother. Shreya take tarika for coffee and tarika see the message.

Tarika:iss message kya matlabh hain?

Shreya:Tarika woo.. Actually baat ye hain ki.. (She tells her their plan)

Tarika:what?tumhe lagta hain ye sab karke Abhijeet mujhe se apne dil ki baat keh dega?

Shreya;Kehna hi hoga.. Dekho ye ek hi rasta hain. Jab tak unhe ue nahi mehsoosh hoga ki tum unse door jaa rahi ho wo kuch nahi karenge.

Tarika: (realizing)Acha to wo aaj iss baremein baat karne aaye the aur main hu ki kuch aur hi samjhi..(shreya looks at her while she jerks her head then looks at her)par aaj to confusion humari ladai hogayi aur abh(sad) mujhe nahi lagata wo kuch bhi sunenge.

Tarika helds her head about the confusion and shreya says holding her hand.

Shreya:dont worry unhe ek jhataka chaiye wo main dungi, bas thoda sa aur intezar uske baad wo zarur tumse apne dil ki baat karenge wo bhi sabke samne.

Tarika:I dont know.. Pata nahi kab ye hoga aur kabhi hoga bhi ya nahi, Abhi Daya ka dost hain..(she looks at shreya while she sip coffee and avoid more conversation)phir bhi try karlo tum.

They finish coffee,abhijeet at his house. He takes out his coat and throw it away in anger.He was not understanding anything. He looks at Daya photo and sit on sofa upset. He thinks about Kavin- Tarika from the moment they met until now.

Daya:(sitting opp to Abhi on sofa)itna gussa?

Abhi:(grinning his teeth)gussa nahi karu to kya karu?haa?

Daya:bapre baap,(smiling)Dekho boss phele to ye tum tarika ka gussa mujhe pe nikaloge to main chala jaunga.

Abhi:(takes a sigh)tumhi batao maine kuch galat kaha?

Daya:sahi bhi to nahi kaha.

Abhi:matlabh?

Daya;Jaise ki tum nahi jante ki kya baat hain.

Abhi:Daya yaar ek baar tu aajyega to baat karunga na tarika se.

Daya:Maine kaha tha tumhe mere aane tak rukne ko?

Abhi:daya..

Daya:Abhijeet, yaar ye kal kal ke chakar mein maine jo khoya hain wo tum jante ho..(abhi looks at daya)main nahi chata tum bhi wahi karo..

Abhi:Lekin..

Daya:(staring at abhi)lekin nahi, dkeho boss simple hain ya tum apne riste ko naam dedo aur agar nahi kar skate to jab tarika aage bhad rahi hain to tum usse roko maat?

Abhi:(irritated shouting)tum mere dost ho ya tarika ke?

Daya:boss, phele tumhara hu lekin tarika bhi meri dost to hain.

Abhi:To phir jaau na jaake badhiya do usse mere pass kya kar rahe ho..

Abhi moves to his room in anger slamming the door.

He know Kavin is good guy but he loves Tarika, daya always told him to confess but he did not do it and now he has to see his love starting her new life with someone else. Why is it always like that, he and tarika had such a great bond. They were together for such a long time  but now all was finished. She will be gone just like that?

He was now relating to daya pain when he saw shreya with Siddharth. He knew his friend was sad but he was not aware of the pain of loosing your love will be unbreable. He was suprised knowing how did Daya survived such a pain and kept meeting that person everyday with a smile on his face but Abhijeet cant do this..he can never do this.

No he cant let that happen but what can he do, he cant just break Kavin heart by asking him to step out from his and tarika life but what matter is what tarika wants, he was awake the whole night and now daya was also not appearing infront of him.. Abhijeet was frustrated with everything.

Next day everyone were busy due to the upcoming event where they were nominated.

In the evening all were present at the event having a great time,they met many people who praised their work while they did not win the award but were happy to be nominated. Abhi was sad through out the event while Acp - Salunke had to bear Dcp who was sitting with them. Kavin- Tarika acted lovey dovey in front of Abhi. It was late at night by the time everyone reach they home.

Abhi was panic mode throught out the day he wanted to talk with tarika but she avoided him and he was uspet with the fact that she is spending time with Kavin.  All were giggling looking at abhi but shreya was upset seeing him like this yet this was important for abhi to confess also she was scared at the same time about the success of her plan.

Next day Afternoon at bureau:

Abhi was roaming form one place to another. All were looking at him while working, he was lost thinking about Kavin - tarika. Both of them were on leave today,Abhi remember about tarika parents visiting. He wanted to meet them and be there with Tarika but it was Kavin. Around 3 turn in afternoon Kavin came to bureau happily. Abhi immediately approached him.

Abhi:kaha the abh tak ye samay hain office aane ka?

Kavin:Sir,(whispering)bataya tha na ki aaj Tarika ke parents aarahe hain.unhe pick karke escort kara raha tha.

Abhi:hmm batana chaiye na, mujhe thodi na yaad rahega..

Kavin:sorry sir.

Abhi:(curiously)Waise kya hua? Pasand aaya gift?

Kavin:Sir(seriously) aapne jo kaha wo sab..

Abhi:sab kya?aage bolo..

Kavin:Wo sab bohut pasand aaya unhe. Infact uncle aunty to itne impress the ki kya batao. Aur Tarika ko bhi cotton ki saree bohut achi lagi. Thankyou sir aap nahi hote mera kya hota..

Kavin smiles shaking his hands,Abhi just give a fake smile and then moves towards his desk. He did try his best to spoil Kavin plan of impressing her parents but it did not go as planned, now everything just got messed up. What should he do.. Everyone were just smiling and abhi was lost in his world upset.

Shreya was really sad to see him as she know how painful is this phase for anyone. She doesn't want to do this but had no other choice. Last stoke was pending from their end and then it was all Abhi action and decision which can change everything.

Around 6 in the evening,Kavin walks upto Abhi again and say keeping his phone.

Kavin:Sir mujhe jaana hoga wo uncle aunty ko kuch shopping aur ghumna hain to main unki help kardeta hoon. Kuch case aaayega to bula lijiyega.

Abhi doesn't answer and Kavin moves from there, shreya call abhi when he looks at her and everyone gather around him.

Abhi:ha.. Kya hua?

Shreya:Sir wo hum sab mall jana ka plan bana rahe the.. Wo koi case bhi nahi aaya na isliye.

Abhi: Abhi? Iss waqt abhi to 8 baj raha hain.

Sachin:Aaj nahi sir kal, kal Saturday hain na to soch rahe the kal bureau mein kaam nahi hoga to..

Rajat:sir,waise bhi ACP sir bhi nahi hain na to soch rahe the ki chale jaaye.

Abhi:Haa jaao

Nikhil:Sir aap bhi chaliye na please..

Abhi:Main kya karunga waha aake?

Pankaj:Tarika ko dekhna..

Abhi:Kya?

Freddy:(hitting pankaj)wo sir movie dekhne ki baat kar rahe hain.

Sachin:haa sir aur wo Movie ka naam hain Ta-ri ka matlabh way of living.

Abhi:kya bol rahe tum log meri kuch samjh nahi aara.

Shreya:sir aap chaliye na, acha lagega aapko,aap akele kya karenge ghar pe?

Abhi: theek hain, (all become happy) kitne baje chalna hain?

Shreya:Sir 12 baje aajayega central mall, hum yaha office ka kaam shambhal lenge phir sidha waha milenge aapko.

Abhi:hmm theek hain, main chalta hoon.

Rajat:sir, main aapko drop kardu kya?

Abhi: nahi tum log bhi ghar jaake aaram karo, main chala jaunga, thodi tabiyat kharab hain lekin theek hoajyegi.

Abhi leaves from there,all gives high five to eachother. Shreya looks at Abhi leaving from the window of the bureau. Purvi keeps her hand and they smile.

Purvi:sab theek hojayega dekhna.

Shreya:haa I hope sab theek hojaye..

Shreya was last person to leave bureau everyday as she use to write a dairy for daya narrating everything for the day happened.

She use to write thinking that once he is back she will gift him the dairy so that he can feel as if he was hear the whole time but she was also sad as she know this is going end soon.

She wanted to cherish this beautiful bond in her heart forever and hold it close to her heart while looking at daya desk and see Daya smiling at her standing infront of her desk.

She gets teary and daya ask her in action not to cry. She wipes her tears while he smiles looking at him, she was admiring him when her phone rings, she looks at the screen and see Siddharth name and again looks back at daya but he is not there. She looks here there and picks the call.

Siddharth: Shreya kaha ho? Kab se phone kar raha hoon. Aaj tum airport aane wali thi na mujhe pick karne?

Shreya:(realizing that she forgot)I am sorry Siddharth,wo main bhul gaayi. Main abhi aati hoon.

Siddharth:abh iski zarurath nahi hain main ghar jaa raha hoon, maine taxi leli.

Shreya:theek hain to kal subha milte hain. Main ghar aake milti hoon tumse.

Siddharth:theek hain kal subha milte hain. Bye bye..

Siddharth disconnect the call and comes out of airport wiyh serious expressions on his face and take taxi to his home. Siddharth looks at his phone wallpaper where the picture of his and shreya engagement was popping on screen, he open the setting and removes the wallpaper and throw phone on side seat.

At bureau shreya packs her things and leaves for home. She was thinking about the next days which are important and hoped that her plan succeeded.
