Chapter:10

RECAP:

Abh tak aapne padta ki Daya is going on a mission. ACP, Daya along with Salunke are hiding something from Abhijeet and everyone.

Abhijeet was upset on learning about Daya's departure however after a brief argument he agrees with Daya decision, everyone host a small get togeather or farewell send off for Daya and share gifts which could be useful for Daya on mission. Also, they spend some time togeather and make memories.

Dareya becomes friends and Daya leaves a Abhijeet- Tarika love life responsibility along with CID team to Shreya. She promises to play his role in his absence.

Finally, Daya leaves for mission on New year, and everyone miss him. Abhi was depressed after Daya leaving..

Now let's read what happens further : 

                                              ************August 28, 2015********

After 8 months (Daya leaving for mission):-

A girl wearing red churidar with a puff short shelves a small jhumki in her ears with joined hands standing with her eyes closed was standing in temple in front of lord Krishna statue in Temple.

She was immensely dedicated in praying to lord, the passing wind was also so attracted by young lady beauty that it started playing with her hair. She looked pure and beautiful but there was a worry on her face.

She opened her eyes priest comes to her giving her a smile. She bends down to take his blessings, he blesses her and hand over her basket full of flower, coconut and prasad.

Priest: Shreya Betiya tum phicle 8 mahino se bina bhule har roz mandir aati ho. Aisa kya mangati ho tum bhagwan se ?

Shreya : Panditji, main yaha kuch mangane nahi balki ye umeed mein aati hu ki wo insaan jo sabke bare mein sochte hain unke baare mein mere kanha soche, taki wo jaha bhi ho khush aur thik thak rahe bas..

Priest:Tum fikar maat karo beta tumhari aakho se pata chalta hain ismein kitna pyaar hain us insaan ke liye aur tumhara pyaar aur Khanaji ka ashirwaad thik rakhega usse.

(She was lost in thinking when priest moves to other devotees. Shreya moves towards tramps and offer them the fruits and snacks she bought with her for them. After a while she sits towards the side of temple looking at lord Krishna idol thinking)

Shreya :8 mahine..aaj pure 8 mahine hogaye Daya sir. Kuch bhi phele jaisa nahi raha, Inn 8 mahino mein maine apna har waada pura karni ki har ek koshish ki lekin sabkuch badal gaaya hain sir. Par inn sab se zyada mujhe iss baat ki phikar hain ki aap theek to hona? Research department se call aate hi sari baatein clear hojayengi.

She rests her head on Temple pillar. Closes her eyes for a minute. Everything played in her head which happened in last 8 months. She thinks something open her bag and take out a dairy and pen.. She moves her fingers on the dairy and open it to new page and start writing:

To Daya Sir, 

Sir pata nahi kyu aaj mere dil itna bechan hain. (she looks at the lord Krishna idol, again start writing) Inn 8 mahino mein kya kuch hua hain. Sabki Zindagi badal gaayi.

ACP sir – Salunke sir : Jo raaz chupa rahe hain usse cid kahi bihar na jaaye.

Sachin – Purvi : Inn dono ne apne rishte ko naya naam dediya hain.

Freddy Sir – Pankaj : Freddy sir badal rahe hain jiska asar Pankaj pe ho raha hain

Nikhil – Rajat Sir : Nikhil ne kuch aisa phasila le liya hain jisse shayad wo aapko phir na mile, Rajat sir ne jo apne dil ki baat Sachin sir se share ki usse mujhse samjh nahi aarah ki main unka samna kaise karu? Kya kahu unse..

Abhijeet sir – Tarika : Inn ka ristha aur inke baremein kya hi kahu sir.. main kaise bacho inka Ristha samjh hi nahi aaraha.

She couldn't complete her words as her eyes were moist, dairy papers gets wet.. She closes her eyes with clenching pen in her hand hard. Due to Wind the dairy pages start shuffling and moving back words.....

Moments were going back.. time was going back.. things were going back... exactly 6 Months back from present....

                         ************ 6 Months Back Flashback Starts : March 2015****************

2 Months after Daya left, Night 10 pm at Bureau :

Shreya was writing her dairy which was now weekly routine for every week, after everyone leaves on Saturday night. she used to write about all the things happened to Daya imagining when he is back he could leave those moments and know how much they missed him by reading it but she was doubtful if she would ever share the dairy with him. But this was her thing of having time with daya.

To Daya Sir..

Aaj main aapse kya kahu Daya sir, kehne ko bohut kuch hain lekin kaise kahu yahi samjh nahi aara hain. Aapke sabse ache dost Abhijeet sir se shuruwat karu? (she gives a sad smiles)

Abhijeet sir abh apne aap mein rehte hain, wo na phele jaise bureau mein kisi ki tang kichte hain nahi tarika ke saath time spend karte hain. Abh to unhone Tarika ko phone pe baate bhi kaam kardi hain.

ACP sir bhi aapne aapko kaam mein busy rakhte hain, zyada tyaar wo conference attended karte hain. Shaluke sir bhi abh kaam bolte hain, koshish karte hain ki wo hasi maazak kare par jaldi har maan lete hain. Freddy sir ne to maazak karna hi chod diya,Jisse Pankaj bhi abh chup chup rehta hain. Purvi ko Sachin sir ke dil mein kya hain ye abh tak nai pata aur nahi Rajat sir aur Nikhil aaj kal bhar jaake dinner karte hain. Aap jante hain Ishita ka bhi Goa mein transfer hogaya.

Aisa lagta hain jaise sab ne to chup rehna sikh liya. Sir aap jante hain, Salunke sir ne bhi abh Abhijeet sir ko chedna chod diya hain.

Aap ke jaate hi bureau ki sari khushiya chali gaayi hain. Abh meri samjh aaya ki kyu aapne mujhe se wo wada liya tha, par pata nahi main aisa kya karu jise mera aapko diya hua wada pura hojaye..kya karu sab ke chere ki muskaan wapas lane ke liye.

Maine Koshish ki sir aapke jaane ke baad sabkuch sahi rakhne ki par nahi rakh paayi. Nahi nibhapaayi apna wada. Kya karu sir.. Kanhaji kuch rasta batiye..

(She stops writing and looks around the bureau. Her phone start ringing, and she jerk her thought while she close the dairy and pick up the call but before she could speak, the person on other side start talking)

Person: Shreya kaha ho? Aaj hame video call pe paat karna tha na..

Shreya: Sorry Siddharth wo main kaam mein thi to bhul gaayi thi. Abhi baat kare?

There was silence for few seconds.. Then Siddharth speaks.

Siddharth: Theek hain Shreya badmein baat karte hain, mujhe bhi abhi kaam hain. Bye take care.

Shreya understands his disappointment and try to say but he disconnects the call. She looks at the phone then keep it away with sad face. She packs her thing and leave for home.

POV of Situation:

Abhijeet was working more seriously on cases, he pretty much started to forget to smile. Tarika use to wait for Abhi calls or to talk to him, but he avoided her as well. During cases he use to avoid going to forensic labs. Team was slowing drifting apart from each other.

ACP tried his best to cheer up everyone with softly speaking, scolding, and warning but everything was still the same. No one were actully happy and the bureau was slowly becoming a formal workplace where the employee was not happy but dragging themselves to work.

Finally, after few days: Shreya come up with an idea and reach out to ACP and Salunke for they help. They agree after a brief discussion. But the change they were trying to do is a very big thing which will not be accepted easily by everyone, especially Abhijeet but still they must do this to save everyone happiness & smile.

Around after a week, Bureau was again filled with small creeping smiles which was making they ways on each team member face while spending time with each other apart from cases. Everyone was making arrangements. There was a change going to happen which was not happily accepted by anyone first but slowly on ACP order and after Shreya explaining them the reason behind it they agree to join hands with her for the sake of everyone's smiles and happiness.

One fine day Shreya was coming back from Temple and just reached home when her phone started ringing. She picks up the call and asap she picked the call, the person on other line started talking without a gasp.

Person:shreya kaha hain?main kab se tera bureau mein wait kari hu. Aaj kya tu apna jaldi aane ka record thod degi..haa?abh chup kyu hain bolna aur bhul gaayi aaj wo new officer join karne wala hain haa..jaldi aaja..

Shreya:ofoh purvi agar tu phone rakhegi to hi main aaungi na?Waise bhi abhi to 8:00 baj rahe hain aur sun tujhe uss new officer ke aane ki excitement kuch zyada nahi hain,isliye bohut jaldi aagayi..

Purvi:haa to new officer ki welcome ki sari zemedari hum dono ko di hain na ACP sir ne aur phir mujhe Abhijeet sir ke gussa ka daar lagrha hain. Issi chakar mein to maine kal kuch tayari aur desk clear nahi kiya. Abh jaldi aake Daya sir ki desk se saari cheeze haata ke...

(Purvi stop in between as she realizes what she spoke, Shreya become silent and Purvi continue)

Purvi:i mean naayi yaadein bana ne ke liye hame purani yaade mitani to hogi na..tu bas jaldi aaja.

Shreya:hmm (Shreya cut the call)

Shreya:purani yaadein? Nahi Purvi, wo purani nahi balki wo yaade bohut hi zayada special hain. Wo yaadein to saanso mein baasi ek kadam uthaya hain khadi hain, aapne kiya hua wada pura karne ke liye. Bureau ki wo Khushi..wo sabke chere ki hasi wapas lane ke liye yahi rasta hain. Bas yahi chati hu ki sabkuch theek hojay. Main wo kar saku jo aap chate the Daya sir. Kanhaji please apna aashirwad banaye rakhna taki main apna wada pura kar saku jald se jald.

(She gets ready wearing a pink shirt with jeans. She was having breakfast with her parents)

S.M:shreya tumne bureau mein chutti ke liye keh diya hain na?

Shreya:maa maine kaha na, abhi bureau mein bohut kaam hota hain aur abhi chutti kisliye.?

S.m:kisliye su?beta tane khabar che na teri sagai hoke kitna samay hogaya hain..abh agar hum shaadi mein deri karenge to log kya kahenge..

Shreya:maa maine kaha na mujhe thoda waqt chaiye..

S.m:kis baat ka waqt chaiye tujhe..

Shreya:maa abhi bureau mein kaam bohut hain to main bas isliye.

S.F:shreya..tera kaam to hamesha rehta hain na?Aur tu shaadi ke baad bhi to kaam kar sakti hain, thodi na tujhe Siddharth cid mein kaam karne se rokega?

Shreya:Papa Siddharth phele business trip se wapas aajaye uske baad baat karte hain.

S.D: Shreya wo to aahi jaayega lekin hame shaadi ki tayari karni hain, date nikalni hain wo sab to hame hi dekhna hoga na?

Shreya:Papa please abhi hum isbare mein baat nahi karte hain mujhe kaam hain main chalti hu.

S.m:tu kuch kha to le aur sun Siddharth se phone pe baat karlena aur Shaadi date fix karke bata dena hame warna hum karlenge.

Shreya:Maa main chalti hu bye.

(She comes out with her scotty keys thinking)

Shreya:kaise samjhu main aap logo ko?mujhe abhi Daya sir se kiya hua wada pura karna hain aur Shaadi ki date wo main Siddharth se baad mein baat karungi..haa yahi sahi hoga.

(She starts her scotty for bureau. when she steps in office Freddy, Sacvi, Nikhil were decorating bureau to welcome a new officer. All were discussing something looking at flower decoration.)

Sachin:dekho purvi ye acha nahi lagega..aisa lag raha hain jaise yaha shaadi ho rahi hain.

Nikhil:sachin sir bilkul sahi keh rahe hain.

Freddy:itna flower ka decoration acha nahi lagega purvi..

Purvi:main kya karu mujhe kuch samjh hi nahi aara aur pata nahi ye Shreya bhi kaha reh gaayi?

Shreya:main yaha hu.. (All turn to find Shreya entering inside)

Shreya:ye kya hain? (Looking at flower decoration..Purvi makes a frown face at her angrily)

Purvi: Decoration hain aur aapne aaj aane ka kasth kyu kiya? Nahi aati to acha hota na..

Sachin: Purvi shreya to sahi samay pe aayi hain tum hi kuch zyada jaldi aagyi ho..

Purvi: Aapko kaise pata? (she smirks at Sachin)

(She start taking steps towards Sachin n he take backsteps. shreya freddy n nikhil smile when purvi was frowning+smirking at Sachin. His back hit wall n Purvi keep her hands around Sachin blocking his way)

Purvi:aap ko itna pasina kyu aaraha hain Sachin "SIR"...?

(He wipes his sweat with his hand as he was felling awkward due to Purvi closeness with him.He was felling her breath on his neck,he gets lost in her big beautiful eyes. All smiles at them and moves to set the thing right while sachvi were lost in each other eyes...)

Humkoooo tumseeeeee pyaarrrrr hain...

(Sachin phones rings as they come out of their world but still were in same position. Sachin looks at Purvi)

Sachin:mera phone..

Purvi:mujhe pata hain..baat karlijiye..

Sachin:purvi mera phone...

(Purvi bends down more on sachin n keep her index finger on his forehead n drag it down while saying n Sachin heartbeat was beating fast)

Purvi:maine kab kaha sir ki mera phone hain.Aaphi ka phone hain receive kijiyena "SIR". (Sachin looks at her while his phone keep ringing)

Sachin: Good Morning A.C.P sir..

(Asa Sachin utter this Purvi moves back standing straight. Her eyes search everywhere but no one was around. Sachin starts smiles under his lips moving from there while taking the call. Purvi frowns again while coming to Shreya who was arranging white lily's in vase)

Purvi:dekha phir bhag gaaye..

Shreya:bhagte nahi to kya karte?tum kya kar rahi thi?

Freddy: Purvi tum to bet haar gaayi...abh tumhe hum sabko treat deni hogi.

Purvi:Freddy sir abhi bohut time hain. Maine kaha tha na jab tak Abhijeet sir Tarika ko apne dil ki baat kahenge main Sachin "SIR" se ugalwa ke rahungi ki wo mujhe se pyaar karte hain.. Thats my challenge.

Nikhil:haaa freddy sir purvi smart hain, Abhijeet sir to kuch khene se rahe aur Sachin sir se ye kehlake rahegi..dekhna.. (Sachin comes back inside)

Sacin:shreya ACP sir aur Salunke sir on the way hain sab hogaya na? (ACP-Salunke were coming back from Conference and Rajat went to pick them)

Shreya:abhi ho jaayega..bas jaldi karti hu main..

Purvi:Abhijeet sir aarahe hain na..?

(All stood at they place n Sachin looks at all)

Sachin:Maine call kiya tha but unka phone switch off araha hain.I dont think ki wo aayenge. (he was silent for a while and then ask)shreya kya hum sahi kar rahe hain?

(All looks at shreya..she thinks and looking at the surrounding say)

Shreya:Aap sab meri madat kardenge please. Nikhil aur Purvi tum dono flowers nikla do aur waha ek panting lagado. Sachin aur Freddy sir aap log paper formalities dekh lijiye. Main new officer ke liye desk tayar karti hu.

(Sachin again ask the same question)

Sachin:hum sahi kar rahe hain na shreya?

Shreya:sahi galat ka to pata nahi sir. Par ek yahi rashta hain aur agar iss raste se bureau ki aur yaha ke logo ke chere ki khushi aur Muskaan wapas aasakti hain to ye rasta galat nahi hain.

Nikhil : Hum sab khoshish kar rahe hain lekin Daya sir ke jaane baad hum chakar bhi phele jaise nahi reh parahe hain.

Nikhil Wipes his tears while Sachin console him. Freddy looks at Shreya looking at daya desk.

Freddy: Shreya main kardu wo desk clean..Matlabh tum Daya sir ka desk..

Shreya:Main kardungi sir..

Puri: Maine koshish ki par mujse nahi hua,main waha se Daya sir ki cheeze nahi haata paayi. (Purvi bites her lips)

Shreya smiles and all move to their work while she goes to desk beside to Abhi desk which is none other than Daya desk. She moves her fingers on desk n feel Daya working on it.She remembers about Daya.

***He is working on his pc engrossed in his files. The way he use to sit on his desk n talk to Abhi. The way he use to still glances at her from his seat. The way she use to stare him cont. without blinking her eyes.

His smile, his blush, his laugh, his talks, his happiness, his love n affection for everyone.

(she comes out of flashes of Daya when Purvi say..)

Purvi: Shreya dekh yaha ye flower vase acha lag raha hain na?new officer ko acha lagega na?

Shreya:hmmm..

(Purvi moves, Shreya start packing all Daya things inside a cartoon box while Purvi get all new things to keep it on desk. New Stationery- Note pads, Markers and dairies along with some folders. Shreya moves to locker to store Daya things and comes back when she see Purvi looking at the empty desk beside.. Shreya thinks)

Shreya: Abhijeet sir main jaanti hu aap aayenge. Aap iss baat se naraz hai na ki Daya sir ki jagaha koi naya officer aaraha hain par sir aap kaise bhul gaaye ki Daya sir ki jagaha koi nahi lesakta koi nahi. Please aap ajaye..phele Daya sir ke jaane se sab udas hain aur abh agar aap bhi nahi aayenge to DCP sir kahi sach mein aapko suspend na karde ?

(Shreya was thinking when ACP, Salunke, Rajat enter bureau)

ACP:hogayi saari tayari?

Sachin:yes sir sab hogaya hain.

Shreya:haa sir desk bhi tayar hain.

ACP:Pankaj puchgaya pune?

Nikhil:haa sir aaj subha hi Pankaj ka call aaya tha wo puch gaaye.

Freddy:sir Pankaj kab tak waha rahenga..

ACP:kyu freddy?kya pareshani hain tumhe?

Freddy:ku..uu..kuch nahi...main bas..

Salunke: are boss shanti se. Freddy Pankaj pune mein apna kaam khatam karke 15 din mein laut aayega, shayad tab taka yaha ka mohal bhi change hojaye.

All were aware of the changes happening in bureau and were sad about it but still they were trying to change things.

Purvi:Abhijeet sir abh tak naahi aaye hain sir.

ACP:ye ladka bhi na.. kabhi nahi samjhta..

(All stealing glances as they all were worried for Abhijeet, At the same time they all hear a voice and turn around to get surprised.)

Voice:kaun nahi aaya?

All turn back to find DCP standing at the entrance and were disappointed. They were already worried about Abhi now they must bear DCP cunning words as well.

He walks up to ACP giving a brief look over everything and finally asusal notice something

DCP: Nahi aaya na tumhara ladala Abhijeet?

Everyone looks down, ACP and Salunke share a look, Dcp smirk on them and continuing

DCP: waha kya baat hain? kya ho raha hain praduman haa? Ek baat nahi sunti tumhari team tumhari. Kahe ke ACP ho tum haa? Abhijeet ne aaj ye sabit kar Diya ki tumhari Sikh galat hain.

DCP was taunting ACP, and all were sadly looking at him

Salunke: Abhijeet raste mein hain. Wo yaha paunchta hi hoga.

DCP: yaha new officer ko welcome karna hain aur ye janab ka aata pata hi nahi. Senior officer hain wo aur usse yaha sabse phele rehna chaiye tha. ek baat ache se yaad karlo ACP agar Abhijeet ka aisa hi bartav raha to he will be suspended yaad rakhna.(smirking he cont.)phir mujhe blame maat karna.. did u get that?

ACP was about to tell something when they again hear a voice from DCP back.

Voice:aisa kabhi nahi hoga.
