Chapter 12 : 

At Bureau:

Abhi reports ACP about the case. ACP ask Purvi about the phone calls, message, and transaction reports. She tells him that all were done on Janki name however Jatin used to talk on a number which is now traced as an illegal phone.

ACP realizes that the culprit is very skilled and suggests a search for similar cases before he ask everyone to leave for home for the night.

Abhi reaches home and finds himself lost in today's events, recalling Daya, Kavin flirt with Everyone, How everyone was getting impressed by him. He was getting tangled up in emotions and he was disliking Kavin.

Shreya was sitting in her room balcony recalling today's events, she saw Abhi worried and irritated with Kavin. She was lost in thoughts when her thoughts were broke with call. She picks up the call and at the same time she receives a message from Kavin about some documents.

Tarika:hello...shreyaaaaa

Shreya:haa tarika ek minute..

Shreya keep Tarika call on hold, message Kavin informing him about the documents in the storeroom of the Bureau where they have a copy and also share him the folders access where he can refer cases. Then she again talks with Tarika on call.

Shreya: Haa bolo..

Tarika:kya bolu??meri baat sune to bolu na..

Shreya;are sun rahi hu..wo bas Kavin tha na..

Tarika:Kavin tere saath hain kya??

Shreya:tu kal aari na kal milati hu tujhe..

Tarika:hmmm.. (Shreya guess tarika sad voice)

Shreya:tarika aaj ka akhiri din hain sad hone ka tujhe kitna udas hona hain hoja abh kal se naayi subha ke saatb der saari khushiya bhi aane wali hain so be ready..

Tarika:acha tujhe bada confidence hain.

Shreya:wo to hain... (They laugh)

Tarika: pata hain kafi dino baad mummy papa se milke kitna acha laga. Bohut acha time spend kiya maine.

Shreya: Wo to maine dekhe picture mein aur videos mein jo tune share kiye the par tere Chere pe udasi kyu thi?

Tarika: Abhijeet ke karan.. usne mujhe ek baar bhi Phone nahi kiya.

Shreya: Wo pareshan hain na isliye..

Tarika : Main samjhti hoon shreya, par meri ye samjh nahi aaraha hain ki Daya isse phele bhi mission pe gaaya tha to iss baar aisa kya alag hain jo Abhijeet aise behave kar raha hain.

Shreya: Tarika Daya sir isse phele gaaye ya Abhijeet sir gaaye tab har baar wo ek dusre ko sab kuch share karte the. Mission ki details ek dusre ke pass rehti thi aur wo mission kaam se kaam 1 mahine mein khatam hojata tha aur isse to 1 mahine ke upar hogaya hain isliye wo pareshan hain.

Tarika: I don't know kya baat hain lekin wo Daya ki yaadein mein apne ass pass ki khushiya nazar andaz kar rahe hain. Daya ko hum bhi miss karte hain lekin iska ye matlabh to nahi hain na ki hum sab bhul jaaye aur sirf Daya ki yaad mein khoye rahe.

Shreya: wahi to karna hain abh Tarika.

Tarika: Matlabh..

Shreya: Matlabh.. tum aajao kisise milana hain tumhe. Jaldi se aajao..

(They both smile n talk meanwhile at Abhi home. He was resting on his chair when he remeber)

Few Days Back:

ACP: Abhijeet Daya yaha nahi hain to agar uski jagaha koi officer aaraha hain to kya prob hain..

Abhi:sir ye aap keh rahe hain.? Daya ki jagha koi nahi le sakta na meri zindegi mein na iss bureau mein aur main lene bhi nahi dunga..

ACP:bas Abhijeet ek senior inspector ho tum, aise baate tumhe shobha nahi deti..aana jaana sab life ka hissa hain aur jitni jaldhi tum ye samjh jaao tumhare liye acha hoga.

Abhi:sir Daya mission pe gaay hain wapas aayega..

ACP:jab aayega tab dekhenge..

Abhi:sir..kal ko main koi mission pe chala jao to tab bhi aap aise hi karengena..meri jagha pe kisi aur ke leke aayenge na.

ACP: Abhijeet tum choti si baat ko itna badi kyu kar rahe ho?

Abhi:sir main aapko keh deta hu wo jo bhi officer yaha aayega wo yaha zyada din thik nahi paayega..

ACP: Abhijeet bacho jaisi baate maat karo..abhi tum gusse mein ho, ghar jaao aur kal waqt pe bureau aajana DCP bhi aane wala naye officer ki welcome ke liye..

(Abhi go to say but ACP stop him n goes from there...outside all were looking at them from glass. Abhi gets angry n he too leaves from bureau..)

Present: (Part of Shreya Flashback continued)

Abhi:nahi Daya ki jagha koi nahi lesakta main Kavin ko yaha rehne nahi dunga kabhi nahi... Mera wada hain Daya tujhe yaha se koi nahi nikal sakta.

*****Daya: Abh tum zyati kar rahe ho yaar..

Abhi:acha abh main zyati kar raha hu sabke saath

Daya:Boss, maine kab kaha sabke saath. Main ye kehraha hu ki tum apne saath zyati kar rahe ho..

Abhi:Wo kaise?

Daya:Boss, jab se humne cid join ki hain kayi officer ne cid join ki kayi ne chod di aur unmein se kuch ne apni jaan bhi gava di.

Abhi: Kehna kya chate ho..

Daya: yahi ki,chodo na bache jaisi harkate aur maan jao yaar agar koi officer aaya hain to acha hain team ko help hogi.

Abhi:Theek hain par teri jagha kyu..

Daya:kyu ki wahi jagha thi..

Abhi:Daya ye sare bhane hain teri jagha tujhse cheene ke..

Daya:Sach batao Abhijeet baat kya hain?

Abhijeet:Kya baat?

Daya:Tum iss baat se dar rahe ho ki bureau mein meri jagha koi aur le raha hain ya phir iss baat se koi kahi tumhari zindagi mein koi meri jagha na lele?

Abhi:Daya....tumhe aisa lagta hain..

Daya:Haa main tumhare dil ki awaaz hu jo Daya banke nikal rahi hain. Tum apne dil ki awaaz ko daya ke roop mein dekhke soch rahe ho ki agar Daya hota to kya hota..

Abhi:Daya aisa..

Daya:Abhi tum itna daar rahe ho aane wale kal se ki tumne mujhe jaane nahi diya apne zindagi se aur Tarika ko aane nahi de rahe ho..

Abhi: Abh insab mein Tarika kaha se aayi

Daya: Tarika hain Abhijeet yahi pe hain. Tum iss baat se daar rahe ho ki agar tumne traika se baat ki to uske parents se baat karni hogi aur aane wale kal ka wada karna hoga aage badhna hoga jo tum karnse daar rahe ho.

Abhi:Aisa nahi hain..

Daya:Aisa hi hain isliye jab se main gaaya hu tum Tarika se dhang se baat nahi kar rahe ho kisi aur se sahi se baat nahi kare.. iss dar se ki kahi in sab mein tum mujhe na bhul jao.

Abhi was silently looking at Daya, he comes and hold abhi hand.

Daya:Dost hain hum boss,main chata hu tum aage badho

Abhi: Tu yaha nahi hain na yaar,jab hoga tab badh jaaunga aage..

Daya: Boss, tum mujhe baki sabke beech bhul jauo aisa nahi hoga. Main janta hu, main tumhare eshaas mein hu isliye to tumhare saath hu abhi bhi.

Abhi:Phir kyu mujhe aisa lagta hain ki tumhara iss mission pe jaana galat hain, kuch baat hain jo mujhe nahi pata.. kya baat hain Daya..?

Daya smiles and same time doorbell rings, abhi looks at door and again see Daya was not there. He goes and opens the door and he ordered coffee powder for next day which was delivered. He comes back and look around.

Abhi:Main nahi bhul sakta tujhe aur nahi kisiko bhulne dunga.

Next day At Bureau :

Abhi reaches bureau and realizes that Kavin worked through the night, because he hands over a report on another victim first thing in the morning to ACP. The case matches with Janki in every way, and ACP thinks it likely that her claims are true.

Abhi reads that the previous case victim committed suicide and thinks that it may be another suspicious death.

At Forensic :

Abhi along with others enter Forensic and find Tarika working there. A smile flashes on Abhi face seeing her, he moves forward when Kavin shouts and all looks at him.

Kavin: Oh My God!....

He moves forward to Tarika as he speaks..

Kavin: "Dil ko zubaan, aankhon ko sapne mil gaye ... aashiqui mein, zindagi ko mainne mil gaye. Aap ko dekha to yakin hogaya ki wo khuda abhi bhi khoobhsurati ko bade aadab se tarashta hain.

Kavin appreciates her beauty while she was confusingly looking at Abhi, Abhi clenches his fist but at the same time Tarika recalls something.

Tarika:Kavin?

Kavin:Bilkul sahi phechna. Iss nacheez ko Kavin kehte hain.

Tarika:Haa Salunke sir baata rahe the aapke baremein..

Kavin:Waise kehte hain na phechan ne wale akshar ek dusre ko phechan hi jaate hain.

Tarika: (smiles) aap achi baate karte ho..

Kavin:uff abh aap mujhe aap baat boliye.. paraya lagta hain, tum bolo apna apna sa lagta hain.(winks)

Tarika laughs and nodes in yes, Salunke looks at Abhi. Shreya looks at Abhi being annoyed and smiles along with Sachin. Abhi looks at Salunke as he speak staling glances at Tarika

Abhi: Sir kya pata chala..

Salunke inform Abhi and others that the results of Jatin autopsy was that he was sedated and injected with a lethal dose of nicotine which make them unstable and unconscious.

All were stunned to know that.

Salunke: Iski body mein nicotine itni paayi gaayi hain ki jisse insaan ko kuch zyada hosh hi na rahe..

Kavin: Sir, you are great help to solve cases. Aap insaan nahi Bhagwan ho Bhagwan.

Salunke: Kavin kuch bhi aisa nahi hain.. (He feels proud of himself while Kavin smiles along with all, Abhi looked annoyed)

Abhi: Iska matlabh isse phele bhi marne ki koshish ki gaayi thi..

Tarika: Bilkul, Phir bhi iski body ki immune system strong rehne ke karan ye manage kar paya ek hafte phele lage so var ko aur hotel tak pahunch paaya.

Kavin: Tarika you are so beautiful and smart. Beauty with Brains.. kya points rakhe hain tumne.. you are so intelligent.

Salunke : ek kaam tha jo abh do do aagaya hain Tarika ki tarif karne ke liye..

Abhi was already annoyed, and Salunke words played as a pinch of salt on his wounds. He immediately moves out from there.

Salunke:isse kya hua?

Shreya: Kuch nahi sir wo case ko leke worried hain.

She moves as well along with others smiling at Kavin follow her. Kavin waves bye to Tarika & Salunke.

At Bureau:

ACP Ask Nikhil and Purvi to check if Jatin filled a sleeping pill prescription or purchased nicotine. Abhi and Kavin decide to interview the family of the other victim "Riya"

Kavin insists indirectly to Abhijeet that he warms up to him, but Abhi ignores him and focused he can be with a case.

Abhi-Kavin interview Riya's mother, who is surprised that they finally believe her daughter was a victim of identity theft. Abhijeet starts to explain that their investigation has to do with another victim, but Kavin steps in to interview the mother.

Kavin gently asks the mother what happened to her daughter and learns that she overdosed on sleeping pills on what was supposed to be her wedding day. Her wedding was called off because she was supposedly in debt and behind on payments.

Her mother shares that no one believed her daughter, not even the police. Abhijeet shows her photos of Jatin and Janki, but the mother claims to have never seen them.

Riya's mother does recall a mourner who thought that her daughter was a regular at her massage parlor, but she didn't recognize the girl in the funeral portrait.

Abhijeet remembers that Riya was accused of borrowing money from a massage parlor.

Shreya, Purvi and Rajat interviews the massage parlor mourner who admits that the woman who died was not the same Riya who was a regular customer.

Kavin was frustrated that they know nothing about the suspect.

***Daya: Boss, Witness to hain.. (Abhi looks at him. He smiles and smirks which remind Abhi about the witness)

Abhi: Witness to hain hamare pass aur usse hum pahunch hi jaayenge iss case ke end tak..

Abhijeet reminds Kavin that they now have witnesses.

At Bureau: Team was drawing speculations about the case on board with the similar cases..

Nikhil, Freddy informs ACP at work on an evidence board after the discovery of three more victims that match the suspect's pattern. Sachin suggests that he add Janki to the list because she was never prescribed sleeping pills, and Nikhil adds that she didn't purchase nicotine.

ACP thinks for a while and orders them to release Janki from custody and keep an eye on her.

Nikhil admits that he's curious to know what the suspect looks like just then Abhijeet – Kavin along with Shreya, Purvi and Rajat return with the massage parlor employees who saw her.

Abhijeet asks Nikhil to work with them to produce a sketch of the suspect.

Abhijeet explains that with help of sketch they can reach out to fake Riya. Kavin thinks that he and Abhi - others make a perfect team, based on their talents. Freddy says that Abhi and Kavin are perfect together as before He and D... Abhi glares at Freddy and he silently moves towards his desk.

Despite of their efforts, team fails to find a connection between the victims.

Shreya and Purvi were doing some reaching when they come to others and inform that about their assumptions.

They draw an assumption that the how suspect managed to meet her victims.

Shreya assumes that all the victims had boyfriends, but they broke up once their identities were stolen. Purvi believes that the suspect was triggered by a breakup and has money problems.

Meanwhile the sketch was ready and Kavin reasons that the team should focus their search on restaurants and look for a woman in her twenties.

The team searches the victims' credit card records and finally finds a common thread — Wonderland Restaurant. Equipped with sketch from the witness, Kavin, Abhi, Shreya and Rajat visit the restaurant and look around.

Kavin attention is caught by a waitress as she walks by, a match to their sketch. They take her to bureau.

The waitress, Radhika, sits in an interrogation room as the team observes her from behind the mirror. Sachin does a background search and has proof that she bought pure nicotine and filled a prescription for sleeping pills two weeks before Jatin death, so everyone agrees that she's their culprit.

Confronted with the sketch, Radhika calmly asks if she can keep it. Abhijeet shows her photos of the victims, but she claims that she's never seen them before asking if they were customers at the restaurant.

Kavin slaps down a photo of Jatin and informs her that he promised to come when he heard that Janki was arrested, but she just laughs.

Unable to get a confession, they step out.

Abhi ask Freddy and Purvi to take her blood samples and send it to Forensic for DNA match with blood found in handkerchief also about the fingerprints.

Kavin thinks about the all the points until now.

Kavin: Boss, aise kaam nahi hoga, ek kaam karte hain pure points go through karte hain.

Kavin says and moves while all stare at him,Abhi was angry about Kavin repeatedly calling boss.

They were discussing the points and Abhi keep seeing Daya around everyone and talking the same words which Kavin is speaking.

***Daya: Phele Jatin ka murder phir Janki ki identity se kisi aur ne uski zindagi ji phir phele ke cases ka iss case milna.. Boss ye Radhika ka koi to connection hain kuch aisa jisse ye majboor hoti hain dusro ki zindagi chene mein..

Kavin remembers that Shreya-Purvi analysis of case.

Kavin/Daya(abhi still assumes as if Daya speaking):Boss,Shreya-Purvi ki analysis sahi ho sakti hain. Hame pata lagana hoga kahi Radhika ka koi boyfriend tha ya hain..

Abhi: (Stands up with jerk):Tumhe samjh nahi aara ek baar mein..

Kavin:Samjh to raha hoon na case ke details, koi galti hogayi hain kya boss..

Abhi:Yaha boss bolna maana hainnnnn(clenching his teeth)

Kavin bits his lips and looks at Shreya, she signals him to say sorry and Kavin apologies. Shreya looks at Freddy and he immediately stands up and divert the topic.

Freddy: Matlabh Radhika ka koi boyfriend ho sakta hain aur usse uska breakup hua ho..

Rajat:Ye baat to wahi restaurant jaake pata chalegi.

Abhi was irritated and moves from there in anger. Kavin follows him along with Sachvi and Freddy leave to investigate further. Meanwhile at Bureau Shreya, Rajat along with Freddy matches her fingerprints and footprints with Tarika at Forensics and also run test for DNA. Nikhil was at bureau with Radhika.

After enquiry, they found Radhika ex-boyfriend and they question him. He admits that they planned to marry but instead broke up because of her excessive spending. He saw her at a restaurant and called her name, but she claimed she was Janki. Kavin confirms that she was with Jatin at the time.

Same time Abhi gets a call from Forensic about the DNA result, and it matched with the blood on the handkerchief. Now they had all the proof.

Finally Armed with proof of her guilt, Kavin tells Radhika that he understands her jealousy towards the victims who enjoyed expensive meals with their boyfriends. Jatin figured out that she had assumed someone else's identity, which was why she killed him.

Radhika in anger finally confess everything and tells them how she acquired the victims' personal information when they entered a promotional event. Kavin shows details how she became more skilled with each victim and was only satisfied when they could no longer dine at the restaurant, certain that their happiness was destroyed too.

She agrees to visit hotel red rose palace on that day by calling Real Janki and Jatin over there, as Jatin was already escaped her attack once, But she spread the news that he was dead and had his last rituals at cemetery. He was running for his life and was under the effect of Nicotine so was not able to reach out to any friend. She also agrees that before breaking up she took around a 10 lakhs from him in cash which he had saved for his further saving. But when Jatin survived her attach she become furious and plan to kill him publicly by blaming Janki. She made sure this time she kills him by herself and blame it on Janki. It was perfect plan, but it got ruined when CID took over the case.

She aggressively curses her luck for running out of money and then her breakup. So, she wanted the other rich girls to have the same pain. But she was happy when she was living as someone else.

Kavin:Bohut Galat kiya tumne Radhika, itne logo ne tumhari wajha se jaan di aur tumne Jatin ki jaan bhi li, Iske liye tumhe Phassi hogi sirf Phassi..

Case was over...

Sachin:(updating the file) Rajat, Kavin ne kya case ka point pakade na..

Rajat:(agreeing with sachin)haa hum sab ye pata lagane mein laage rahe ki akhir ye Jatin ka khoon kiya kisne par Kavin ne to ek baar hi mein kehdiya ki ye wo ladki thi..

Shreya:hamesha se Kavin hain hi aisa usko wo dikjata hain jo hum kabhi nahi dekhte..

Abhi was just entering the bureau when he listens to all talking n stop there..

Purvi:really Shreya Kavin is so intelligent..

Shreya:Kavin hamesha se hi aisa hain, infact uski intelligence ko dekhke hi wo aaj senior inspector hain.

Freddy:dil ka bhi bohut acha hain..

Nikhil :haa abh Freddy sir ko Kavin ne itni izzat jo di, to wo abh dil ke ache hi hongena. hain na sir.

All laughs, Abhi feels wired and turn to move but find Kavin also listening standing behind him. Abhi gets stunned to see him and Kavin smile

Kavin:sir aap yaha kya kar rahe the? kahi meri tarif sunke to yaha khade nahi hogaye na.?

Abhi glare him n say in a very strong voice

Abhi:aaj tak kabhi Abhijeet ko chori chuppe kaam karne ki zarurath na hi padi hain aur nahi kabhi padega aur apni galatfami dur karo bohut jalad ye log jo tumhari tarif kar rahe hain wo khud tumhe yaha dekh na bhi pasand nahi karenge and aise hi ho i will make sure of that.
