Chapter 19: 

Abhi comes outside the gate and search everywhere looking for Daya. He looks around running here and there and gets disappointed. He finally stand near gate taking heavy breathes, Kavin -Vineet reaches to him.

Kavin:Sir.. Aap bhage kyu? Kya hua?

Vineet:Aap theek ho sir..

Abhijeet was looking around trying to find Daya, his eyes were searching around while his heart was sinking from inside.

Firstly he is not feeling well and now he was disappointed on losing Daya, he was about to fall when Kavin hold him. Abhi looks at him keenly while he notice Abhijeet feeling low,his forehead was covered with sweat. Both of them helps Abhi to sit on bench near by, Kavin takes out his handkerchief and wipe Abhi sweat while he was still restless.

Kavin:Vinu Abhijeet sir ki car mangade.

Vineet: wo to maine boldiya hain par sir theek hain.?

Kavin:Haa, lagta thoda B.P low hogaya hain.Thoda rest karenge to theek hojayenge.

Vineet: Tu sir ke saath jaa raha hain?

Kavin: Haa..

Vineet: par mujhe laga tu rukega kuch din yaha. Atleast sham tak ruk.. (Kavin interpret him)

Kavin:main tujhe call karta hoon abhi(looking at Abhi who closed his eyes)hum chalte hain kafi der hogayi hain.

Vineet;theek hain main abhi to tujhe rokunga nahi par yaar wapas aana jaldi milenge..

Kavin: Haa sure

Abhi car arrives and Kavin Vineet help Abhi to get in it and Vinu bid them goodbye and goes inside. Abhi was still lost, Kavin see a medicine packate in the front seat and takes out a tablet and pass it to abhi with water bottle while Abhi looks at him but silently take them. Kavin start driving along side he switch on the AC.

Abhijeet feels relaxed, he takes a nap for some minute and gets up after some time from the thundering sounds. Kavin notice him. Abhijeet was sitting in the back sit as Kavin was driving.

Kavin: Sir wo mausam badal raha hain na..

Abhi:(looking him through car front mirror)hmm.. waise tum kaise pata meri davai ke baremein?

Kavin(smiling)Shreya ne bataya tha, usne kaha hain kuch mahino se aap thik nahi ho. Waise sir ek baat kahu.

Abhi:(still keenly looking at him through mirror) nahi bolunga to jaise nahi puchoge.

Kavin:(Giggling)Aap ne mujhe subha call nahi kiya, mujhe laga hum yaha saath aayenge.

Abhi:Ek cid officer ho tum,ye baat tumhe pata honi chaiye ki 9 baje ke session ke liye kab nikalna chaiye. Waise bhi main subha 5 baje se 5:30 intezar kiya tha tumhara mere ghar pe. Shreya ne kaha tha tum wahi miloge par tum aaye nahi to main nikal gaaya.

Kavin:(chuckling) Par aapne Vineet se jhut bola na ki main koi case mein phasa hoon. Usne bataya mujhe.

Abhi: (trying to figure out an answer)wo..wo.. Hum ek saath kaam karte hain isliye bas keh diya taki team bonding pe baat na aaye bas aur kuch nahi.

Kavin(smiling): Thankyou sir.. Thankyou so much for trusting me and atleast mera saath dene ke liye.

Abhi looks outside the window and see it start pouring heavy rain.

Abhi: (irritated)ye barish bhi bohut horahi hain.

Kavin(smiling):aap apne dost ko miss karte ho na sir..

Abhi:(looks at him shock and utter) Shreya?

Kavin:(nodes in no) Tarika..

Abhi moods shift to protective

Abhi: Tarikaji bohut bholi hain, kisse kya kehna chaiye ye wo janti bhi nahi hain. Shambhal ke rehna tum.. Samjhe..

Kavin: (thinking something teasing)Bilkul sir, aap chinta maat kijiye main Tarika ka bilkul dhayan rakhunga aur baat rahi to sab share karne ki to hum ek dusre ke inn kuch mahine mein bohut ache dost ban gaaye hain. (Abhi grind his teeth and again looks outside) Waise aapne bataya nahi ki aap apne dost ko miss karte hain ya nahi?

Abhi: (still looking outside)Ye koi batane wali baat hain kya?Ofcourse karta hu par pata nahi wo karta hain ya nahi.. (remember today)agar karta to bhagta nahi. Par wo bhaga kyu?

Kavin:hmm, waise sir ye (take a paper from front seat)envelope mila gaadi mein shayad aapke liye hain upar aapka naam hain. (handover envelope to Abhi and he reads it out)

Boss, Kaise ho? (he looks at Kavin while he was smiling, Abhi again start reading it silently) Yaar bohut miss karta hu tumhe, aaj tumhe dekne aaya hu mil to nahi sakta isliye dur se dekh raha hu lekin hum jald hi milenge bas tum jo ye udas si aankeh liye ghum rahe ho na usse chodke khush hojao aur khush raho taki jab main wapas aau to tum mujhe mere wahi dost banke mile naki koi aur.. samjhe aur haa tarika se kab kahoge apne dil ki baat?aur kitna intezar karu boss?batado jaldi... Acha chalo waqt nahi hain to baki baatein badmein.. Tumhara dost Daya. (Abhi clenches the paper and again looks outside with moist eyes)

Kavin:Sir, kisne likha hain. (Abhi was silent while Kavin looks at rains drops) Kehte hain mausam har waqt badalte rehta hain. (Abhi was still silent)Waise sir, aap jante hain jitna main Tarika ko jana na usse aisa lagta hain ki Tarika jiske bhi life ka hissa banegi wo bohut khush naseeb honge, hain na.. (He was still silent, kavin again continue) Tarika itni achi hain ki uske saath har moment khash hojata hain aisa lagta hain jaise uske aane se mausam badal raha hain.

Abhi:kitni bataein karte ho, chup nahi raha jaata?

Kavin:are sir baatein nahi karenge to jaanege kaise ek dusre ko?Boliye.. abh aap tarika ke special dost hain to aap to jante hi honge na wo kitni khas hain.

Abhi: (looks at Kavin jerking his head then smile between his moist eyes looking at letter)Wo hain hi special..

Kavin:(thinking smiling)Haa mere liye to kafi special hain wo..

Abhi glance at him and see him lost. He looks outside the window again and see the rain drops running through window. A memory flashes in his mind.

Daya driving car and Abhi sitting beside him. It was raining heavily. Abhi looking outside.

Daya: Boss mausam badal raha hain.

Abhi: Haa badal raha hain..

Daya: Waise forensic mein bhi mausam badal raha hain na..

Abhi:(slowly turns at daya)mat.. matlabh kya hain tumhara?

Daya: saaf saaf hain boss.. Wo forensic mein nayi doctor hain na wo bohut hi khoobsurat hain. Hain na?

Abhi; kaun ?

Daya: Abhijeet.. waha khoobsurat doctor Salunke saab to nahi hosakta na?

Abhijeet: are yaar tum irritate kyu ho rahe ho? Waise bhi Tarika ko cid join kare hua acha samay hogaya hain wo nayi kaise hui?

Daya: Isliye to mujhe abhi samjh aaya ki wo kitni special hain.

Abhi:Daya phahelio mein kya baat kar rahe ho yaar?

Daya: Abhijeet, mera matlabh hain ki maine decide kar liya hain..

Abhi: Kya? {Daya stops the car aside of the road and blush a little and with a smile he continue}

Daya: Main tarika ko apne life ka hissa banana chata hoon..

Abhi:(shocked) kya? Daya tum hosh mein ho..

Daya: haa bilkul hoon,(flashing a glowing smile)nahi.. sach kaho to abh main badsoh ho raha hoon.

Abhi: kaha se sikh rahe ho aisi baatein? (Daya smile while Abhi thinks something)Samjha.. tum na vivek aur freddy se dur raho. Undono ke saath saath tu bhi ajeeb baatein karne lage ho aur tumhe to ye sab mein vishwas nahi tha na.

Daya: kin sab mein?

Abhi: (hesitating)Yahi.. Pya.. Ye jo tum bol rahe ho ismein..

Daya:(keenly looking at him) Abhijeet tum khush nahi ho?

Abhi: (turning away)Daya yaar.. tum.. jhut bol rahe ho na?

Daya:(turns him back to him)Abhi mujhe dekhke lag raha hain main mazak kar ya jhut raha hu..

Abhijeet looks at him intensely again turns around looking outside the window at the rain..

Daya: (smiling)Tum mere sabse ache dost ho isliye phele tumhe bata rahu.. Aur ismein tumhe meri madat karni hogi.

Abhi:(still looking outside) Daya yaar tum mujhe in sab mein maat keecho yaar..

Daya: Boss,keechne ka kya hain? (bending down on staring wheel looking at Abhi) waise tum ho beech mein warna main tarika ko apne life ka hissa kaise banunga?tumhare bina ye nahi ho sakta.

Abhi:(irritated,turning towards daya) yaar dekho merko insab mein nahi padhna.

Daya: Boss.. Tumhe karna hoga please.. Mera tumhare alwa parivaar hi kaun hain? Tum mera saath nahi doge to kaun dega yaar? Please dedona mera saath please Abhijeet.

Abhi:(annoyed)thik hain baba.. Kya karna hain batao. (grinning his teeth)Abh ye bhi kara lo mujhse..

Daya: (happily starting the car)yeh hui na baat..

Abhi: Haa baki kya hain abh..

Daya:Haa baki bohut kuch, main kya keh raha hu tum aur main ek ghar lelete hain waha tum, main aur tarika saath saath rehenge.

Abhi: haa abh yahi karna baki hain.. Aur ye batana hain tumhe tarika ko?

Daya:nahi yaar.. Wo to shaadi ke bad defalut saath rahegihi na..

Abhi:(clenching his fist)shaadi.. Daya tum bohut tezzzz(stressing on tez) cheezo ko nahi soch rahe ho.. Abhi to tarika ko ye bhi nahi pata ki tum kya karna chate ho aur aap bhai sab shaadi tak pahunchgaye.

Daya:Boss tum uski fikar maat karo. Sari tayari main karunga tum bas mera chota sa kaam kardo phir dekhna hum teeno saath rahenge. Infact pura cid family saath rahenge.. Kaisa hain plan?

Abhi: Haa haa.. bilkul kyu nahi.. Abh bata bhi do ki wo chota sa kaam kya hain taki wo khatam karke main hath jau beech se.. (annoyed face)

Daya:(smiling)dil ki baat khena hain tarika se..

Abhi:(making faces and controlling himself) dil ki baat.. Aap iss baat pe roshni dalenge ki wo baat main kyu batau?

Daya: are yaar tum mere liye itna nahi kar sakte..

Abhi:Daya ye phele emotional blackmail karna bad karo, cid officer ho aisa bacho jaise kar rahe ho.. (He again turns around controlling himself and looking outside the window)

Daya: Bade bhai ki shaadi mein chota bhai bacha hi hota hain na..

Abhi:(irritatedly)kya bak bak kar rahe ho kuch samhh nahi aara..

Daya: kuch samjh ne ki zarurath nahi hain bas tarika ko apne dil ki baat batado jaldi se taki wo meri bhabhi banke meri life ka hissa ban jaye aur baki sab mujhpe chod do. Main shambhalunga sab..

Abhi:(turning towards daya annoyingly) kya shambhalunga.. Shambhalunga.. keh rahe ho.. phele to tarika ko main dil ki baat kyu batau aur to aur usse tumhari bhabhi banae ke liye main kyu pares...

Daya looks at him while driving and Abhijeet realizes daya words meaning and pull car breaks and daya immediately moves car aside.. Luckily there was no other vehicle aside them.

Daya: Boss kya kar rahe ho.. Acha hua koi dusri gaadi hain nahi.. (Looking outside, abhijeet holds daya from shoulder and shouts..)

Abhi: kya kaha tune?

Daya: yahi ki acha hua kuch nahi tha..

Abhi:(squeezing daya arms) ye nahi isse phele..

Daya: boss mere haath..

Abhi:Daya kya kaha?please wapas bol.

Daya: Abhi.. Maine kaha ki tum jaldi se apne dil ki baat tarika se kehdo taki wo mere life ka hissa ban jaye mere bhabhi banke..

Abhi:(smiling and smirking) Daya tumhari bhabhi matlabh..

Daya:boss abh tum zyada kar rahe ho..

Abhi:Daya yaar aisa nahi hain, jaisa tum samjh rahe ho..

Daya: Boss main tumhe tumse ache se janta hoon.. Ye tumhara dil hain na..ye jiske liye dhadak raha hain ye bhi janata hoon wo bhi tumhare se phele. Aur agar pasand hain tarika to jaldi se baat aage badao.

Abhi:(blushing) Aisa nahi hain.

Daya:matlabh.. Nahi pasand.

Abhi;maine aisa to nahi kaha..

Daya:acha..

Abhi:(smiling) are yaar tum bhi na, Hum sirf bureau ke bhar mil rahe hain.

Daya:acha bhar milne tak baat aagayi aur bol rahe ho ki kuch nahi hain.. Boss dekho der karoge to dil tut jaayega.. Main nahi chata ki tumhara dil kabhi bhi tute aur tarika mujhe to bohut pasand hain aur wo special bhi hain. Please yaar jaldi se batado na usse..

Abhi:(sense daya worry) daya waqt aane pe keh dunga..

Daya:Jaldi kehdena aisa na ho ki tum waqt ka intezar karte raho aur koi aur waqt ki jagha tarika ko lejaaye..

Abhi: daya kya baat kar rahe ho?

Daya: bas bol raha hoon.. Mausam badal raha hain tum bhi badal jaao. Waqt ke saath badlo aur apnalo halat ko.. Apne dil ki baat suno boss.

Abhi:daya..

Daya:(staring car) sach kehrahoon , main tumhe khush dekhna chata hoon hamesha chaiye main tumhare saath rahu ya nahi rahu. Tumhe khush rehna hain sabko sambhalna hain aur Tarika ko special sirf tum feel kara sakte hoon.

Abhi:Bhai sab, aap kaha jaa rahe ho? Tum mere saath ho rahoge aur baat rahi Tarika ki to theek hain wo main sochunga.. Abh tum dhayan do raste pe aur gaana lagao.

Daya:boss tum kabhi nahi sudhroge.. {Daya plays fm.. Songs starts playing}

Pyaar deewana hota hain.. Mastana hota hain. Har khushi se har gam se begana hota hain..

                               *******************************************************

{Suddenly Kavin stops the car and Abhijeet comes out of the flash back and the same song was being played on fm}

Kavin:(turning back) sir aap theek hain?

Abhi: hmm par gaadi kyu roki ? Kya hua?

Kavin:(switching off the fm) Sir, wo actually rasta mein kuch dikhayi nahi dera hain,upar se lagta hain car ke bonet mein paani chala gaaya hain wo aatak aatak ke chal rahi hain. Mausam bohut bigad gaya hain to shayad hume yahi kahi pe rukna hoga.

Abhi:hmm, kuch der ruke chalte hain.

Kavin:haa sir aap car mein bhethiye main aas pass dekhke aata hoon koi aur rasta ho to ya yaha kahi rukne ki jagha ho to.

Abhi: Are tum akele kaha jaa rahe ho? Main bhi chalta hoon. Yahi kahi ruk jaayenge jab tak mausam sahi nahi hota hain.

Kavin:par sir aapki tabiyat..

Abhi: Kavin, main theek hoon samjhe.. Main peeche se raincoat nikalta hoon ruko.

Abhi take out raincoat from back and they wear it. They step out and roam for some time. It was raining heavily, and they finally reach a place like hotel.

It was already around 6 in the evening. They see a few people already there. They decide to stay there for over night as the storm was really strong and they can't help it but stay there. Abhijeet tries calling bureau or ACP but they were not able to reach out to them. Finally, the call gets connected and Abhi inform regarding their stay due to heavy storm.

Kavin and Abhijeet share a room and they have some chips and snacks. As there was no power due to no power supply . Both of them have small talks, Kavin always keep talking while Abhijeet answers few of his question.

Kavin smiles on the thought that atleast abhijeet started talking alittle with him which is better than the initially stage. Abhi was also becoming more comfortable with Kavin after knowing his reason for being in Daya place in Mumbai.

He felt bad for treating Kavin badly and started accepting things with Kavin slowly. He felt that Kavin and he are sailing in the same boat. He was getting connected with him while they talk and as usual Kavin overshared information about his college days, Delhi office, Vinu, Shreya and also Anu referring her to his special friend. Abhi smiled on the expression looking at Kavin but he was not aware of her being dead.

It was around 1:30 in the night.. Abhi and Kavin were sleeping in the hotel room when they hear a scream and wakes up. They look at each other and immediately moves out.

All the people in the hotel gather at the reception hearing the sound. Abhi and Kavin enquire about the scream and start searching in the direction asking all to be in one place. Hotel owner come running towards them. Kavin held him by shoulder.

Abhi: kya hua tumhe? Kyu bhag rahe ho? 

Kavin: Aur tumne chillaya?

Hotel owner: wo.. Bhar.. Wo..

Kavin: dekhiye aap ghabraye maat aur bataiye kya hua?

HO:wo bhaishab bhar garden area ke foot walk pe koi gira hua hain aur waha bohut khoon bhe raha hain.

Kavin/Abhijeet:what?kya bol rahe ho tum?

HO : haa main sach bol raha hoon

Abhi:chalo hamare saath, batao hame

HO:main nahi aaunga..

Kavin:ghabro maat aur chalo.

They go out and see person in blood on the ground in torch light.Kavin checks and declares him dead. Abhi looks around keenly.

It was raining heavily, Abhi examines the body declaring that, he had fractured skull and concludes it was grudge-driven while Kavin search for id and find that the victim had a drivered here seeing the car RC in his wallet and also say that his phone is missing. His name is Ashish.

They share a look while both of them run towards the hotel and ask all to be present and no one should leave until the culprit is found. On which one of the guest in hotel declares that if they want also, they can't as the weather is very bad.

Abhi – Kavin glances at eachother, Kavin introduce themselves to the six guest in hotel and all were worried seeing CID before them. Abhi thinks Who's the culprit playing innocent after killing someone?

While Abhi search for victim Ashish vehicle & finds a photo of him in boxing kit so he guesses that he was hit from behind as he was boxer and could have defend himself if he knew someone is hitting.

Kavin, takes photos of each vehicle's license plates, and notices a damaged headlight on one car.

On Abhi command Kavin try calling CID team and forensic department but due to bad weather they cannot reach hence he drops a message along with what ever he found so that when ever he passes a network area the message can be delivered to team.

They decide to solve the case by them self until team reaches here. Abhi just wished that they could solve the case before the weather gets normal so that there will be no chance of culprit running away. Hence they started being more alert.

They figure the culprit is among the six, and the first suspect they interview is a government official more concerned about a function he meant to attend than the fact that someone is dead. He's the owner of the car with the broken headlight but can't explain it and claims the black box is broken, too.

The next suspect is a teacher, who explains that he stopped off hear due to bad weather and he was asked about his  broken glasses he's wearing, and he says it happened during a game with his colleagues. Abhi notes that he was holding his hands in tension.

The third suspect is the one who a young man who turns out to be a baseball player well known for his various misdemeanors. Kavin notices blood staining his shoes and think that the Ashish injury can also be caused by a baseball bat.

Scene shift Mumbai:

Sachin receives the message from Kavin and he informed all, they all searches for information for license plate photos which he received from Kavin and the team get on it to collect evidence. Still they are not able to connect on call.

Hotel:

The fourth suspect is an actress. Kavin asks her if she was running away after killing someone. "That's right," she replies... and bursts out laughing. Abhi – kavin gets irritated.

The fifth, a shifty-looking tow-truck driver, complains about being held due to weather.

Their last suspect, the owner of the hotel who found the dead body. He tells them that the government official arrived first, then the teacher, then the tow-truck driver, and finally the actress and the baseball player together. But the victim never made it to hotel or he was not registered as well on the hotel room guest list.

Once the interview is over, he looks decidedly suspicious.Officers were unable to figure out the culprit and they discuss the whole scenario when they come to a conclusion that one or all of the suspects are lying.

They grab the pile of car keys from everyone and head out to search for the murder weapon.

Kavin discovers a baseball bat in one car and a hammer in another, both clean. He tells Abhijeet the real weapon must be hidden away, and they return to the body. They part ways to search for evidence.

While Abhijeet notices a blood marks on road which he search in near by road when the victim was found & finally found a bloodstained brick out of the cistern—cement.

Kavin receives message from Rajat informing about the details of the car owners, He comes back to Abhi and share the same with him and they comes to know that the killer must be the tow-truck driver, who is an ex-con. 2 years back on Mumbai highway road accident he was the culprit and the victim now dead "Ashish" was the person who reported.

Abhi was outside checking for more evidence while Kavin come inside the hotel lobby to questions the suspects. While doing so the hotel owner gets tea for everyone, being on suspect list Kavin denies to have tea and was looking at everyone while questioning.

After a while when Kavin was sharing speculation on how the victim had deid & share that they found some evidence and they will be captured the culprit soon but was interrupted by the government official yelling at the teacher for spilling tea on his expensive suit.

Kavin breaks it up and starts cleaning his suit with tissue with the teacher helping him with some soap water and the stain dries out. Kavin impressed by his speed and efficiency, and the teacher says it's because he's been on his own since his wife died. Luckily, they didn't have children, he inform Kavin

Kavin feels bad for him & sighs and feeling the pain in his eyes shares that the hardest part of being a police officer is delivering the news of a victim's death to the family.

He thinks back to time when he delivered new of Anu dead to her family. "You never forget the look on their face at that moment," he says, and adds that without fail, every person collapses.

The teacher—who's having peace expression changes to blank & he buckles at Kavin words, but gets back to his feet right away saying he has low blood pressure so he goes out for some air, leaving Kavin staring after him.

Abhijeet reaches a spot where there is park build inside the lawn of hotel where guest childrens can play and on a near by bench, there was Ashish cell phone, also finding closely he finds two cigarettes—one was fully bunned and completed where as other one left in half. He wonders what made that person drop it without finishing.

Kavin follows the teacher outside but seeing him sitting in one place, he moves towards vehicals where his heart was still unsatisfied with not finding any proof. He finds an empty suit-cover in one of the cars and gun with umbrella and torch, he looks outside at teacher who was still sitting on the bench and searches around the lawn area otherside until he finds a black plastic sack.

CID bureau :

Purvi & Shreya find some call history and decide to enquire at same time itself and they divided in 2 and question all the person on the call list of Victim Ashish call list.

Some scold them for disturbing them in the late hours while others gets tensed & worried. Shreya – Rajat finally enquire the owner of a boxing gym who was taking his early morning classes and he corporate with them informing that he and Victim "Ashish" were in army togeather.

He also show them a photo in which he, Ashish was involved and points out a young man. Ashish killed him, he says, and tells them how Ashish routinely used his juniors have boxing matches and always wanted to win but this young man had blocked a blow from Ashish in match which became a gossip point and Ashish was very angry which caused him to injure his wrist.

He went wild and beat the young boy to death due to which he was suspended from Army forever. He never apologized the dead young man or his parents & never felt guilty for his actions. Hence now there are not in touch after the incident in Army.

Being a friend of such human he also left Army being turmatised with what ever happened. Rajat – Shreya were shocked to know the story and they thanks him for cooperation and telling them the truth. Immediately leaving Rajat inform Sachin about where happened along with dropping voice message to Kavin.

Hotel :

Abhi was looking for evidence when he feels someone slowly approaching him, when he feels the step closer he hold his guns against the person & see Kavin standing before him with wide open eyes.

Abhi nodding his head in no pulls his gun back to which Kavin gulp his breathe and relaxes.

On asking why he approached him slowly, Kavin tell him he has found the culprit and tells him everything he found out and the voice note they received.

Kavin inform Abhi that team in on their way to here and they will reach in the meantime. It was almost morning 5.

Both looks at eachother while they both head inside with collected evidence by Abhiijeet.

Inside the Hotel:

All looks at the DUO while Kavin state that now they all are free to go as the weather has improved and it will be morning soon expect the culprit to which all stare at eachother thinking about who is it. The Actress come forward and ask about the culprit to which Abhi smile concluding.

Abhi: Ashish, jo abh nahi raha uske baremein humari team ne enquiry ki aur hume ye pata chala hain ki wo ek Ex Army officer tha, lekin wo suspend hua tha ek case ke silsil mein shak ke daire mein rehne karan.

Kavin: Aur case ye tha ki usne ek ladke ki yani ek junior Army officer ki jaan leli. Wo usse bohut tang karta tha, Wo apne junior officers ke saath boxing karta tha aur shart ye thi ki koi bhi junior uske punches ko roke nahi par uss ladke ne aisa kardiya tha jise uska haath tut gaaya tha,aur ussi gusse mein Ashish ne uss ladke ki jaan leli.

Abhi – Kavin notice everyone reaction and share a glance at eachother signalling something while the ministry official brust out loudly cursing the victim "Ashish"

Kavin smiles at his brust out and present the suit case covered in blood, 2 cigarettes (one completed & other which was half)brick which was used to hit Ashish covered in blood and even a wallet with a photo inside it.

The photo inside shows a family of three. All gets shocked looking at picture and Abhi take the picture from his hand and walks one by one to everyone and finally stop near teacher showing him.

Abhi : Aap bhi dekhiye ye Picture, (teacher glances at the picture & gets shocked) Ye aap hi hain na aur aapki wife jo abh apke saath nahi rahi aur ye hain aapka beta jisse Ashish ne Army camp mein mardiya tha. (teachers eyes gets filled with water)boliye apne beta ka badla liya na?

Teacher :(tears roll down his cheek as he knells down)haa sach hain, usne mere bete ko maara aur ussi dhuk mein meri biwi mar gaayi. Phir bhi maine usse maaf kiya tha jo inssan ye nahi samjh sakta ki dusre insaan ki jaan ki kimat kya hoti usse baat karke ya kosh ke kya faida lekin usne kya kaha pata hain? (his eyes turned red and he narrate the story)

Due to bad weather as everyone, Teacher also came to this hotel to take shelter but at night he was not able to sleep so he stepped out for chilly air and to have a cigarette. Ashish with suit case who just came to stay for night in hotel comes and sit beside him, after sometime, teacher offer him the cigarette. When teacher saw Ashish in glimse of light he recoginsed him but decided to avoid him and moves from there when Ashish complained to Teacher about the rain making his wrist ache. He used to be a boxer, he boasted, but some jerk injured him.

"What did you do to that person?" Teacher asked. "I killed him," Ashish replied. Teacher was shocked and dropped his cigarette and was also stunned to to see his face words having no guilt of committing a crime, and he laughed that he was joking. Without realizing and anger urging with him, he tried to control but his laughter was pinching his heart and as they reached a walk path.

Teacher picked up up a brick at the door and killed him with it. He keep hitting Ashish head with brick and Ashish suit case until his anger had turned into fear, guilt of killing someone and run from there picking up his thing and throwing the brick somewhere far but to his luck the brick was stuck in tree branches near by which was latter found by Abhijeet. He also try hidding the suitcase when his wallet falls near the suit case which was found by kavin.

The electricity goes out-in the present, Abhijeet ask the hotel owner to check the fuse while Kavin asks Teacher if killing Ashish changed anything.

Kavin: Meri bhi ek khas dost thi, bohut khas(kavin recollecting her)Anu police mein thi,usse bhi ek case mein ek criminal ne maar diya gaaya,(Abhi looked at Kavin with shock and pain was clearly visible on his face)main bhi uss criminal ko mardena chata tha lekin isse kuch badal nahi jaata. (Kavin sighed in sadness)Jo hua usse kanoon pe chod dena chaiye naki kanoon ko haath mein lena chaiye. Said Kavin consoling Teacher.

He also added that this story was already over when his son died. He says that after he joined the police, he understood that they couldn't undo what had already happened.

Crying, Teachers was feeling guilty and see Abhi gun who was standing beside him where as Abhi was lost looking the helpless pain appeared on kavin face. Teacher finding the chance pulled the guns and target himself when Abhi try to stop he point towards him in panic the trigger gets pushed by teacher but same time Kavin rushes in to block Abhi and gets shot.

All panics while Abhi see Kavin falling down infront of him and take steps towards teacher in hurry grabbing the gun back and slapping him. Teacher fell down and Abhi runs back to Kavin holding him in his Arm gets worried. Kavin turn and smile looking at Abhi.

Kavin : Kuch nahi hua sir, main theek hu goli chu ke nikal gaayi, (looking at teacher)teacher hain na nisaana chuk gaaya..haha.. ahhh(laugh in pains while Abhi hold his hand)

Abhi: Chup raho, Main abhi tumhe hospital leke jaata hu. Chup raho.

Kavin laughs and losses his consciousness when he scream kavin to keep his eyes open and picks up him in his arm ask the hotel manager to keep hold of teacher until the police arrives while he runs outside with kavin in his arms.
