Chapter 25:last chapter of the season - Part 1

Shreya was shocked as she saw some thing different in Rajat eyes, she clenched her hand into fist as he took a step forward towards her.

Rajat eyes were glowing speaking about something else to her. She was confused with his sudden approach while Rajat again takes a step towards her staring into her eyes while trying to say something as he slowly opens the box.

Rajat:Shreya... Wo.. Wo.. Actully main...

Rajat was neverous as he glup down his fear while falshing a shy smile.

Rajat:(showing her the box opening it)ye main tumhare liye la..

Abhi suddenly enter the bureau giggling in phone while both of them look at Abhi as he smile looking at them disconnects the phone. Rajat immediately pulls his hand back hiding it behind his back.

Abhi:hello shreya,(she try to smile)hello Rajat(he smiling nodes)kya chalra hain?

Shreya looks at Abhi then again at Rajat who was trying to smile while hiding the box.

Abhi:(looking around)Sab kaha hain?

Rajat:Si..si..sir wo sab pizza khane gaaye hain.

Abhi:(smirking)mere bina?(He looks at shreya lost)shreya rajat tum dono yaha kya kar rahe ho?

Shreya:(turning to him)sir..

Rajat :(interputing)Kavin ki formalities puri kar rahi thi..

Abhi:(smiling)wo to badmein karenge..(coming to shreya doing action of eating)chalo phele pizza khate hain..

Shreya:(smile)sir almost hogaya.. Wo aap log chaliye main aati hu..

Abhi:(nodding his head)Tum nahi sunogi na.. Theek hain phir jaldi aana(she noded)Rajat chalo hum chalte hain.

Rajat:(glanes at shreya while she avoid his look)Ji sir..

Rajat looks at shreya while going along keeping back the box in his pocket while Shreya avoided his glance, he walked out with Abhi.

shreya sat on the chair geting lost with her heart beating fast with nervousness and tension. She was sweating badly while she rubbed her hand togeather. Rajat words were echoing in her ears while she stopped them with her hands covering her ears jerking them. 

Her phone kept ringing while she was lost with sadness in her eyes.

After sometime,she slowly walks after getting continuous call from Abhi and purvi, she was at the cafe gate feeling nervous and lost when she see Sachin -Rajat furiously talking as she hid outside the gate hearing her name.

Sachin:(angry)Shreya se kya kaha tumne?

Rajat:(jerking sachin hands which were on his shoulder)wo...(taking pause with long breathe)puri baat karne ka mujhe mauka nahi mila(glance at sachin)Abhijeet sir waha aagaye the.

Sachin:(holding his head) jo kaha wo kafi hain situation ackward bana ne ke liye.

Rajat:(irritatedly)kyu ackward?

Sachin:(shouting)Rajat, maine tumhe phele bhi kaha hain, tum jo soch rahe ho wo galat hain.

Rajat:Kyu galat hain?

Sachin:(turning aroun)baar baar ek hi baat kahu..

Rajat:(turning sachin towards him)Tumne dekha kya Daya sir ko shreya se apne dil ki baat kehte hu?

Sachin:(taking a sigh)Rajat unhone abh tak ek dusre se kuch nahi kaha uska ye matlabh nahi hain ki wo ek dusre se pyaar nahi karte..

Rajat:(turning away from sachin) Sachin please yaar tum mere dost ho, mujhe samjhne ki jagha mujhe kuch alag hi baat samjha rahe ho?

Sachin:(pulling him towards him)Haa kyu ki tumhe sahi baat samjhna bhi meri zimedari hain.

Rajat;(jerking his hands)mujhe nahi samjhna..

Sachin:(slowly)yaar, maine Purvi se nahi kaha tha, Abhijeet sir ne tarika se nahi kaha tha lekin pyaar to hum bhi karte the na?

Rajat turns and looks at him while sachin nodes his head as Rajat still stubbornly looks at sachin.

Rajat: tum aur Abhijeet sir indirectly apne dil ki baat bayan karte the lekin Daya sir ne ya Shreya ne aisa nahi kiya, Manta hu main ki phele unke beech kuch tha lekin wo khatam hogaya jab siddharth se shreya ki shaadi fix hui aur abh jab sab theek hain to main shreya ko apne dil ki baat batana chata hu..

Sachin:(instantly shouting)aisa maat karna, tum cheeze bigad doge.

Rajat:(shouting back)main bigad dunga?

Sachin:(holding his shoulder)Tum mere dost ho main nahi chata ki tumhara dil tute (Rajat jerks sachin hands)Rajat, baat yaha tumari ya daya sir ki nahi hain, Yaha baat shreya ki hain aur wo daya sir se pyaar karti hain.. bohut karti hain. isliye please main haath jodta hu tumhare, please jab tak daya sir nahi aajate tab tak please Shreya se kuch maat kehna. Unke aane ke baad bhi tumhe aisa lage ki shreya aur Daya sir ke beech koi feelings nahi hain to main tumhe bilkul nahi rokunga. (Rajat looks at him)please Meri dosti ke liye itna kardo...

Rajat was annoyed as he leaves from there.. Sachin try to stop but he dosent hear anything. Shreya listening to everything was confused clenching her heart.

Sachin moves back inside the cafe as Nikhil cross him signalling him about the call he received.

Nikhil:(coming outside)hello...

shreya was about to move but stop hearing Nikhil.

Nikhil:Maine kaha na.. aaj kal mein main Acp ko mera resignation dedunga.. haa please tab tak maa ka khayal rakhna.... Nahi Daya sir wapas nahi aaye.. lekin abh aur wait nahi kar sakta.. main chod dunga CID.. haa theek hain bye..

He disconnects the call taking a heavy sigh.

Nikhil:I am sorry Daya sir lekin abh main aur wait nahi karsakta, mujhe CID chod ke jaana padega hamesha ke liye..

He slide the phone in his pocket with walking inside as shreya slowly thinking what ever she heard moves to back to bureau with thoughts occuping in her mind. She was about to enter bureau when she hear Acp -Salunke in a very bad state and talking so she again stops outside.

Acp was sitting with holding his head on chair while salunke was rubbing his eye to stop his tears. Until yesterday they were excited to share the news of daya return to team while today another heart breaking news reached them breaking their heart  into pieces. It was most difficult thing for them which they never imagined they would have to face.

Acp:(moist eyes holding his head)Abhijeet ko batana hoga Salunke..

Salunke:(wearing the specs)haa.. par kya kahenge usse ki,(his voice chocked  while his hands were trembling, he turned holding the desk)kaise kahoge Pradyuman Abhijeet se ye baat..

Acp:(intertwined his fingers)kehna hoga, agar ye baat usse kahi aur se pata chegi to wo iss baar puri tarha tut jayega.

Salunke:(turning to him)mujhese nahi hoga boss, (Acp bend his head towards down keeping his palm on his head)nahi hoga ye kehna ki jis dost ka wo itni besabri se intezar kar raha hain wo abh...(choking fumble cranky voice) ka..ka..kabhi.. wapas nahi...na..nahi... aane wala.

Shreya lose her strength in her limbs as she collapsed down the next moment she heard salunke words, she went numb to feel anything as nothing was left within her, no expressions no feeling no strings were reflecting on her face.

Acp:(wiping his eyes)Ye chitrole(grinning his teeth between his moist eyes and fumbling voice)ne kitni asaani se kehdiya ki Daya....(gulp down closing his eyes)nah..na.. nahi lautega.

Acp was very angry on dcp while he clenched his fist hitting it on table. Salunke stood in his place watching him with tears flowing from his eyes. Acp was very furious and this was 1st time when he lost his control as salunke held him making him sit on chair.

Salunke:(tapping Acp shoulder)kahi, Chitrole wo kar na de jo usne kaha hain.

Acp:(closing his eyes)usse phele hame Abhijeet ko..ye..(his voice was cracking in between with the emotions)ye sach batana hoga.

Salunke:(looking at acp with teary eyes)mujhe abh bhi yakin nahi hora ki Daya abh....

Acp was lost in his world recollecting his memories with daya with holding his head down. He lost his best officer his son Daya forever.. Salunke was also upset and shocked with news.

Until yesterday, they were happy for Daya return but suddenly everything changed in fraction of minutes. One phone call snatched everything from them. They were furious with DCP chirtole unusual tone on call as if nothing big happened while they kept internally crushing themselves for not being able to save Daya and losing him on fate.

Salunke:(grinning his teeth)Ye sab uss chitrole ka kiya dhara hain,(wiping his tears)wo chata to iss mission pe kisi ko nahi bhejta.

Acp: (clenching his hands with glup in his voice)Meri samjh ye nahi aara ki aise kaise ho sakta hain.. Kaise? Daya ne kaha tha wo aayega. Baki officer aagaye to Daya kyu nahi? (Acp was angry on Daya)Kya Daya ne ek baar bhi hamare baremein nahi socha hoga. Wo bina meri permission wo kuch nahi karta phir aaj itna bada faisla..hum sabko chod ke jaane ka kaise(His voice chocked in between)......?

Both of them were broken and confused at the same time, Shreya was still sitting  near the door, She was expecting Daya return but the news of him being no more in this world made its way. So much happened in few minutes, so many news which were around her made its way to her.. With in fraction of minutes her life changed completely.

Salunke:(stammering)Ma..Ma..Main sabko bulata hoon..

His voice chocked as Pradyuman looked at him while he gets a call.

Acp:(picking the call)hello.......haa...yes..(his eyes reflected some mixed emotions)that's correct...haa hum abhi aate hain...

Pradyuman disconnected the call as he looked at Salunke.

Acp:Salunke, (clenching the phone in his hand)Daya wali baat pe yakeen tab bhi hoga jab hum waha jaayenge jaha ye sab hua hain..

Salunke:(Wiping his tears)matlabh..

Acp:Abhijeet ko (turning to Salunke)aur sabko sach jane ka haq hain aur wo sach hum batiyenge lekin sirf DCP ki baat pe yakeen karke ke nahi...

Salunke looked at Acp keenly while he nodded and both made their way out of the bureau, as it was dark and shreya was sitting down they didnt notice her. She was devasted knowing about the news, her limbs were numb while her was beating fastly. Her mind went complete blank thinking about Daya and their moments.

How could something like this even happen. She was not ready to accept what she just heard. She can't believe randomly while her heart was not in a position to answer a thing. She just promised her self to be happy but without him how could she ever be happy.

Shreya eyes were slowly becoming moist while a flash back of him played infront of her eyes, Daya cannot go like this.. this can't be happening.

She had lost all her hope, she remembered the last moment's with him on the farewell day, the way she gifted him the bracelet and the way she tied it around his wrist while the feeling of their last meet was cherished in her heart forever. Something sudddenly strikes her mind, her heart started shouting about the thing she planned in a situation like this.

Shreya:Braclet haa Braclet, main usse kaise bhul.Agar ACP sir jo soch rahe hain wo hota to mujhe notification aata transmitor se, maine do din se transmitor check nahi kiya lekin mujhe phone mein notification aata jo nahi aaya.Matlbh, nahi.. (she joined her hands) kanha ji Daya sir ko theek rakhna.. Ye news galat ho..

She leaves from there immediately while she gets alot of calls and messages from purvi-Abhijeet but she doesn't respond at all.

Abhi was wondering about shreya when he receive a message that she has to go home as she has some work. He hope all ok,here shreya reaches her home while directly running to her room, open her cupboard where she finds a box. She remembers what she did the day when Daya has to leave for mission.

Before Daya farewell 1 day:-

She was at Cid headquarters where she meet one of her friend from her training school & college.

Jaya gave her a wooden box along with a bracelet which shreya brought with her for placing a hidden tracking device in it.

Jayavanti:Shreya tumne jo bhi kaha maine wo kiya, Par iss baat ka kisi ko pata nahi chalna chaiye warna main suspend hojaungi.

Shreya:Tum fikar maat karo kisi ko kuch pata nahi chalega.

Jayavanti:(looking ay shreya while she was checking the transmitor)Par Shreya, ye bracelet mein location tracker kyu aur kiske liye?

Shreya: Jaya.. Daya sir secret mission pe jaa rahe hain aur wo(getting lost thinking about Daya)apni parwaha nahi karenge chaiye jo hojaye, (looks at jaya)Isliye ye transmitor mujhe unhe dena hoga iss bracelet mein chupake taki iss baat ki tasali rahe hi wo jaha bhi hain theek hain ya phir jab bhi wo musibat mein ho to hume pata chale.

Jayavanti:(smiling looking at her)Itna fikar hain tujhe apne senior ki?

Shreya looks at her bitting her lips with nodding as Jaya smiles at her.

Shreya:(looking at bracelet)Sun, agar ye kisi wajha se destroy hogaya to bhi iski last location nikal sakti hain na.

Jaya:(nodding)Haa jaise maine phele kaha iski last location trace hojayegi lekin uske passwords networks se chaiye honge jo sirf head quarters mein hi milenge, isliye ye agar destroy hogaya to sirf hum yani headquaters se pata chalega.

Shreya:Thankyou Jaya..

Jayavanti:ismein thankyou kyu.. Itna to kar hi sakti hu main. Aur tu waqt se waqt pe ispe location trace kar sakti hain aur jab tak iska location apt hain tab tak ye pata chalega ki ye sahi chal raha hain.

Shreya recollected Jaya words as she looks at the location trace but she cannot find any moments or signal on it. Her heart skink with not seeing any moment but her heart and mind kept shouting.. this was not a moment to get upset but to collect evidence as she dials a number. 

After sometime, she start going when her parents coming back from walk see her tensed and clenching the box tightly.

S.M:Shreya kaha jaa rahi hain?Aur iss waqt tu yaha kya kar rahi hain?

Shreya:(trying to sound normal)Maa wo mujhe kuch kaam tha to main uske liye hi aayi thi.

S.D:Theek hain jaldi aajana shamko, milke dinner karte hain.

Shreya:Haa papa, main chalti hu.

She leaves while shreya parents share a look,they find something suspicious about shreya behaviour.

She reaches headquaters, handovering the box to Jayavanti for investigation regarding the location of Daya as she is not able to find it.

Jaya inform her that it will take atleast one to day to know the last location and know if there is any signal problem or it was destroyed, also as an internal audit of trackers are being held as she informed earlier about to her. But for shreya nothing matters more then just knowing if "He" was ok..

Here at Bureau:

Abhi:(worried)ye achanak se Rajat aur Shreya ghar kyu chalegaaye?

Sachin:(quickly)Sir, wo Rajat ki tabiyat theek nahi lagri thi isliye,maine suggest kiya ki wo rest karle.

Purvi(smiling):aur aaj subha shreya kehrahi thi ki,agar kaam zayada nahi hain to wo aunty ko checkup ke liye le jaayegi shayad wahi chali gaayi hain..

Abhi: hmmm... (Thinks)I hope wo dono theek hain. (He recollect morning incident when Rajat - Shreya were tensed seeing him unexpectedly at Bureau)

Sachin:(think)I hope Rajat ne shreya se aur kuch kaha na ho..

Nikhil:(smiling loking at Freddy and Pankaj)sir, dekhiye kaise feeddy sir pankaj ko sote hui satarahe hain.

They see Freddy pulling Pankaj hands,legs and ears while he was asleep. Pankaj was greeting annoyed in sleep as Freddy grin seeing him, when Freddys all little pranks finishes he goes near pankaj ear and shouts..

Feeddy:Hello ACP sir..

Pankaj gets up immediately and all laugh at them, pankaj looks at freddy and while he says..

Freddy:Subha se tumne itna sab khaya aur abh so rahe ho? Yaha duty karne aaye ho ya sone? Lagau phone acp sir ko..

Pankaj:sir aap hamesha mera khana kyu dekhte ho? Aur main aapse keh raha hu agar phir se aapne aisa mazak kiya to acha nahi hoga dekh lena.

Freddy:to kya?haa?kya kar loge..

Sachin:Freddy pankaj bas karo tum dono. Nikhil apni files, pankaj aur freddy ko dedo taki wo log ladna band kare..

Pankaj:are sir..

Sachin;kya hua?

Pankaj;kuch nahi sir,kuch nahi..

Freddy:Tumhari wajaha se mujhe bhi abh file pe kaam karna padega.

Pankaj:aapki wajha se..

All giggles while sachin- Nikhil notice Abhi lost.

Nikhil:Sir aap kuch pareshan lag rahe hain?kuch hua hain kya?

Abhi:(jerking his thoughts)Nahi aisa kuch nahi hain.

Sachin:kal se aap kahi khoye hua lag rahe hain,sab theek hain na.. Aap hame bata sakte hain shayad hum help karde.

Abhi:(faking smile)aisa kuch nahi sachin, bas shamko Tarikaji ko dinner pe lejaana hain to soch raha hu ki kaha leke jaau.. (recollecting Daya)Daya hota to ye sab main usse kehdeta aur mere liye akshar wahi karta tha lekin abh..(bite his lips)

Sachin:(smiling)Sir.. Aap Hotel Paradise leke jaaye waha ka menu bohut acha hain. Pichli baar purvi ko bohut pasand aaya tha.

Nikhil:(smiling)Haa main bhi gaaya tha maa ke saath jab wo yaha thi,unhe bhi pasand aaya tha.

Abhi:(nodding)ok, main unhe wahi leke jaata hu..

He smiles as Nikhil - sachin smile while Nikhil again glance at Freddy-Pankaj fighting over file..

Abhi:(glancing at Nikhil)Sachin kal jo bhi case aayega usse Nikhil lead karega.

Nikhil:(shocked as he glance at Sachin then at Abhi.. hesitating)Sir main?

Abhi:haa tum, kafi samay hogaya hain tumhe lead karna chaiye. Fikar maat karo Rajat aur Sachin rahenge tumhare saath par agla jo bhi case hain wo tum lead karoge.

Nikhil;(nodding)ok sir(thinking)abh to mujhe Acp se kehna hoga ki mera resignation head quarter ne approve karliya hain aur shayad daya sir ke aane se phele hi mujhe ye sab chod ke jaana hoga.

Nikhil was lost in thoughts while Abhi, Sachin were talking others working.

Abhi:(As he beside him)Sachin yearly performance sheets bhi fill honi chaiye sabki, sabko yaad dila dena ki jald se jald submit karde wo deadline ke phele.

Sachin:ji sir..

Bureau was cheering with the happiness which is not going to last long while sachin-Abhi discuss regarding performance and work. In evening they all leave for home believing that coming days will be hectic due to work and performance objectives unaware of the fact that which is going bring a Strom in their life's changing it forever.

Next morning, shreya was at temple as per her routine but this time she was praying nonstop for Daya safety. She meet the priest there... {please refere chapter 10 from where shreya flash back started and now ending}

she was still waiting for the update from Jaya while her mind was occupied with everything happened yesterday. 

Nikhil registration, Rajat Confession and Acp - Salunke hidding the news from Abhi while he is just started being happy leaving with tarika...

Her heart kept shrinking with various thoughts as she was awake for the whole night thinking of all the possibility of Daya return.

She was worried about the happening and wondering the outcome of the everything at once....

She rests her head on Temple pillar. Closes her eyes for a minute. Everything played in her head which happened in last 8 months. She thinks something open her bag and take out a dairy and pen.. She moves her fingers on the dairy and open it to new page and start writing:

She glances at Krishna Idol while sitting leaning on the temple pillar as she write some line with  all the happening run over her eyes in the last few months................

Flashback from episode 10 until now is finished.......

She opens her eyes with her phone ringing!!
