Chapter~ 19 'What Did I Just Read?'

"Good morning!" Everyone greeted.

"Morning! Is breakfast ready?" I asked. They shook their heads.

"We are going to Starbucks," Louis said and Niall smiled widely at his statement.

Oh, Niall.

Then it hit me.

Starbucks.

I looked at Jessica with my eyes widened.

"We haven't been there in a while. I forgot we even work there! Oh my God! What if we get fired?" I panicked.

"Nah, don't worry. You had an excuse, anyways. You were in the hospital, remember?" Delilah reminded me.

"Please, don't remind me." I shivered at the thought of that terrible hospital and my stay there. "And yeah, you're right. We might still have the job."

"Um, yeah. About that," Liam cleared his thought. "We already told the owner of the cafe that you were in the hospital. He said it was okay and that he understands. He's also giving you a break this week, you and Jessica," Liam informed.

"Are you serious? Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I jumped up and down and hugged the boys, one by one.

"Group hug!" Harry exclaimed. I giggled as we all hugged.

"Okay. Time to breathe!" We all pulled away. "Now, go get dressed. I'm hungry!" Niall whined.

"When are you not?" I asked, chuckling. He shrugged.

I took a quick shower and dried my hair, letting it fall into it's natural curls. Then, I grabbed the grey shorts and purple tank top I packed yesterday for my short stay. Sighing happily, I slipped into my purple sandals and applied simple makeup. Finally, I grabbed my bag and exited the small room, finding everyone waiting for me.

The ride to Starbucks was short, yet full of energetic singing and contagious laughter.

We smiled as we smelled the delicious aroma of creamy coffee and sweet chocolate. The simple bell rang, alerting that a new customer entered the cafe.

"Isabella! Jessica! Welcome back. We missed you," Emily, one of the servers, welcomed us.

"We did, too! How have you been?" I asked.

"I'm doing just fine. But most importantly, how have you been?" She asked, looking very concerned.

"I'm fine, now. Don't you worry. Thank you for your concern." I smiled at her.

"Anytime. Now, your table, ladies and gentlemen. This way." She gestured to the family tables' direction.

"Merci," Jessica thanked. I laughed at her response and went behind her. The boys and girls followed, chuckling.

We ordered our food and ate it in utter content. Niall's smile was wider than ever and so was mine. We chatted as we ate our delicious sandwiches and drank our lovely coffee. Half an hour later, we left the cafe.

We decided it was a good idea to just relax in our flat, all together. However, on our way to the apartment, we had to stop at the nearest grocery store to pick up some junk food and drinks.

We went in different directions to pick up different things. The drinks were on me, however, being a book worm, I couldn't help but head over the magazines and books section and take a look.

My eyes shifted from Romantic to Mystery. From Mystery to Horror. Horror to Humor. And finally, Humor to Magazines. And that was when I couldn't believe my eyes. My jaw was dropped and my eyes were widened in utter shock and disbelief. A flood of emotions rushed through my veins. Just to make sure what I saw was correct,

I rubbed my eyes one time.

And two times.

And three times.

Oh my God.

What did I just see?
