"you're so pretty, doah." taerae smiles, moving my hair out of my face.

i give him a small smile and put the hair back where it was. what jungmin had said earlier kind of stuck to me. i tried to put on makeup earlier but i gave up since i was going to be late.

he frowns at me, "what's wrong?"

i shake my head, "nothing, it's just cold." i lie.

it was obvious i was lying but he smiles and nods, "let's eat, i'm so hungry." he says.

i smile, "yeah, i'm so hungry i was waiting the whole day for this." i chuckle.

we were sat in a field surrounded by flowers and we were having a cute picnic. it was actually really warm today so i don't know why i lied about being cold.

anyway, we were eating a load of fruits and a lot of refreshing food and drinks. he didn't even ask me what i wanted yet he got everything i like.

he's actually so boyfriend material it pisses me off.

after we finish most of the food while talking, he looks at me.

"should i sing you a song for now?" he asks.

i nod, "that would be great.."

he smiles at me and takes his guitar out, "do you know this song?" he asks, showing me a song on spotify.

i nod, "i love that song!!"

he grins, "great! if you want to sing with me you want. would make it easier."

i smile and his fingers begin to strum on the guitar strings. oh god why am i feeling so many feelings right now.

a picnic date with taerae is what i thought could make me feel better from jungmin texting me everyday.

i'm not sure if that was the case though.

we ended up singing the whole song together. i can tell he was looking at me but i avoided eye contact as much as possible.

after he finishes, he taps my arm, making me turn to him.

"you're great." he compliments with a huge smile.

i look away shyly, "shut up. you're better than me.."

he chuckles and hands me the guitar, "come on, music major. play us something."

i stare at the guitar and sigh. "you're the worst for making me do this."

i brainstorm a bunch of songs that i know in my head and i end up sitting there for a whole minute thinking.

"just do your favourite song.." taerae suggests, moving himself so he sits opposite me. that will definitely make me mess up if he's this close.

i nod, "only by leehi? do you know that song?" i ask.

"who doesn't." he smiles, resting his head on his palm. "go on, i want to hear you sing by yourself."

i chuckle and look away for a bit before taking a deep breath. "if i mess up it's your fault." i warn.

he laughs, "okay, okay. just go on."

i sigh and begin to play the start of the song, still avoiding eye contact.

i couldn't help but feel so nervous even though it was just him and i sat here. well i hope it was just us anyway.

we sang a lot of songs together until the sunset and had deep talks, finished the food and he even gave me his coat.

it was all going so well... until.
