"your boyfriend actually angers me." miyeong complains, throwing her phone on doah's bed.

"what did gyuvin do now?" haerin asks, brushing her hair as she looks at miyeong's stressed state through the mirror.

"gyuvin won't give me gunwook's number." she sighs in what looks like agony.

doah scoffs, "you've made out but don't even have each other's numbers?"

chaehyun snickers at the mention of miyeong and gunwook making out. "i'm not over that."

miyeong sighs, "well i was going to ask him but that's really embarrassing."

"you do know you could have just asked me, right? i literally have his number." haerin laughs.

"oh my god give it to me!!" miyeong shoots up from the bed grabbing her phone and running towards haerin.

all seven girls were at doah's house for a sleepover. they had also invited the new girl called hiroka, she was quiet and obviously not fluent in korean yet so chaehyun invited hikaru for her.

a huge girl's sleepover. currently, hiroka, hikaru, dayeon and yunjin were out buying snacks for the girls as miyeong, haerin, chaehyun and doah were waiting for them. ningning is on her way. they were currently having that 'boy talk' most girls have at sleepovers before they sit in silence and scroll on tiktok.

anyways, the other girls came back and they were all sat in a circle laughing and carrying on their boy talk. there was snacks in the middle and the weeknd playing in the back from doah's speaker (which is actually donghyuck's).

"oh my god did i tell you guys how i met hiroka." doah gets up excitedly, the others shake their heads, telling her to go on.

"wait no this is so embarrassing." hiroka sighs, covering her face with her palms.

"it wasn't the worst!" miyeong says, trying to comfort the worried looking girl.

"it's okay, doah you can tell us." she says, making doah nod in response and smile.

"basically it was the day i was visiting haerin in sspac and i was walking and then i accidentally bumped into hiroka and she spilled coffee on my shirt." she starts.

"oh my god that was why you were like 5 minutes late. like i just realised that." haerin gasps.

"hiroka you're so clumsy." hikaru laughs.

"i apologise doah, i truly do." hiroka laughs.

"no worries! anyways, and then keita was also there for some reason and he handed me his jacket and texted jaeya to come over so she did and then like i went away to get ready but then we spied on keita and hiroka and they were STARING at each other." she explains, with a bit too much enthusiasm.

"you make it out to sound so amazing when we stood in silence. it was so awkward." hiroka laughs.

"okay but like, keita and hiroka?" dayeon says with a smirk, poking the said girl's cheek.

"he called you pretty, he's also japanese and he's older than you so you might aswell go for it." yunjin says after silently munching on some crisps.

"older guys for the win!!" chaehyun shouts, making all girls cheer.

"why are you cheering you cougar."  haerin teases, looking at doah.

doah frowns and falls onto yunjin. "this joke will be the death of me."

"haerin don't bully my poor doah." yunjin says, patting the girl's head.  "gyuvin is like 5 months younger than you so you're also still older than him."

the other girls laugh as haerin's palm went over her mouth. "no don't we are the same age don't do this to me."

"okay wait let's take a minute to talk about doah." dayeon interrupts, making doah sit up in confusion "how's you and your man taerae? any moves yet?"

doah sighs. "no moves but we've been talking a lot. ever since we called i think that's what made us get really close."

"so why do you look so worried?" hikaru asks, noticing doah's change in facial expression.

"his ex really worries me. she's always texting me and talking to me in campus." she sighs again, running a hand through her hair in stress.

"didn't we tell you to ignore her and block her?" miyeong asks, looking like she's about to beat someone's ass.

doah gives her a sad smile, "i've tried to. but she always comes back to the point i'm used to it." the other girl's frown and crawl towards her, trying to comfort her before she starts to cry.

doah was known to be very fragile and sensitive. one rude thing could change her perspective on herself for the rest of her life, which worried others a lot, especially donghyuck.

jungmin was quickly affecting how doah saw herself, and only the girls and her brother know that it's still going on. doah waved them away, "it's fine trust me. like it's nothing to worry about. she'll stop anyway." she smiles.

"i don't believe that but okay." yunjin sighs, rubbing the girls back.

as doah was going to change the subject, she notices a text from her brother and an incoming call from sunwoo.

she glances at her brother's messages.

: i think i kissed renjun btw

doah frowns and was about to tell the girls but notices how annoying the calling sound was and pressed answer. the other girls looked at her in confusion and she mouthed 'i think sunwoo is drunk.'

chaehyun puts the phone on speaker and places doah's phone in the middle of their circle. all of them go silent and get ready to listen.

otp.

"sunwoo?"

— "doah i'm so fucking drunk right now."

"i figured, how's the party?"

— "horrible."

"oh how come?"

— "doah i actually think i still really like you."

that one line made hikaru press the mute button as all of them start to squeal. "oh my god doah!!!"

doah sits there in bewilderment, her mouth agape and her palm over her mouth. "what the fuck did he just say?"

"he's still in love with you." hiroka says, looking at her phone then back at doah in shock.

"love is a stretch." doah replies.

"bro if i wasn't rooting for taerae right now." chaehyun says, pushing doah back and forth.

"no what the hell i'm so—" doah panics, but then the door opens and ningning appears, she had just arrived and walked in, "hey!! what's so exciting?"

dayeon signals for ningning to come sit down and she sits and stares at the phone in confusion. she then realises it when she hears the loud music coming from doah's phone. "oh right the group 1 afterparty."

— "doah can you hear me? i just said i think i still like you!"

ningning gasps and bugs doah to unmute and say something. doah shakes her head in fear which causes the two to begin bickering in a whisper.

ningning unmutes the call and doah starts to throw pillows at her in stress. the other girls laughed at the long, childish interaction and dayeon stops them, "just ask why." she whispers. which doah decided to finally do so.

"uh, i heard you. and what makes you think that?"

— "i can't just stop liking you after three years can i? it's not easy to move on this fast."

— "whenever i see you with my cousin it gives me more reasons to ask myself why i couldn't i just have gotten you earlier." he begins to sob.

— "doah i don't think i will ever get over you, oh my god."

doah panics and looks at the other girls for help.

— "why are you calling my sister?" they hear a faint voice which is recognised to be donghyuck's.

— "wait sunwoo why are you crying—" the call ends.

yunjin coughs as she was the one who ended the call. "just text him instead."

doah sighs, "what the hell was that."

"i feel so bad for him." hikaru says, handing doah her phone.

the girls start telling her things to say and try lift up the mood but doah sits staring at her phone, having no idea what to say to him. they do say drunk words are sober thoughts, but doah hoped that wasn't the case.
