"the fuck?" i hear sunwoo say from the door. thank the fucking lords he came. his hands were full with drinks and snacks but he puts them down and runs towards us. "my god seungjae what did you drink to do this?" he says in a stressed tone, dragging the guy off of me. "why are you holding her?"

i mean it wasn't the worst thing ever, he wasn't even trying to kiss me or anything like that but damn his grip was strong. he was just saying some noncey shit then tried to rub my makeup off of my neck. he could've done something but sunwoo walked in to save my life. (thank fuck)

"sunwoo she's dating taerae." he whines as he was getting pushed out of the room. i laugh a little as i did find this a bit funny.

sunwoo says some incomprehensible words and slams the door. he sighs and turns to me. "i'm so sorry. he's drunk." sunwoo explains, locking his door and walking towards me. "did he hurt you?"

i shake my head. "he wasn't doing anything, my wrists just hurt. he's got some strong arms or something."

"i'm so sorry about him, i had no idea how he acts when he's like that." he apologises, sitting next to me on the bed.

i smile. "nah it's fine. i noticed. it wasn't the first time he tried to hit on me anyway."

"what do you mean? he deadass moved to korea for a job two weeks ago.. he doesn't go to our uni and he's older than us." sunwoo says, confused.

"he hit on me when i was at the cinema yesterday." i explain. "i could tell he was drunk since at the cinema he was way weirder and bitchless."

sunwoo laughs. "how did he hit on you?"

"asked me if i was single and shit." i shrug.

he snickers. "can't believe that, he didn't hurt you just then did he?"

i shake my head. "no, he just has a strong grip. "

"okay, tell me what you wanted to talk about then." he says. "since you came all this way to talk to me."

"well i just want to talk to you about anything, really. you've drifted from me ever since i started dating taerae." i say, noticing his change in expression.

"yeah, um. sorry. i thought after that everyone hated me." he scratches the back of his neck.

"why though? even after taehyun's party no one hated you until you stopped talking to us."

"yeah, i know. i was just scared and worried. i was also clearly jealous of you and taerae so..."

i chuckle. "that doesn't mean you have to drift away from us."

he sighs. "doah i've liked you for three years the only way i could try to lose the feelings was to not interact with you anymore."

i understand that completely. i get that's how he feels. but i don't think he realised how much it broke me. being bestfriends with him for years just for him to stop talking to me for ages was horrible. i cried a lot because of it, even when stuff was going on with jungmin and stuff.

"that's fine. i understand. but next time please don't drift away from me sunwoo." i say, patting his arm. "it made me sad."

"did it? i'm sorry." he says panicking, "i didn't realise that i would make you feel that way."

"no, it's fine now trust me. i just want to keep our friendship. and don't drift from me or anyone else again. it's worrying." i kinda of scold him.

"sorry doah." he says jokingly. "i promise i won't." he takes his pinky out.

i smile at him and i lock our pinkies together. "see? you promised now. if you break the pinky promise i will unfriend you."

he rolls his eyes. "you already broke my heart dating my cousin so."

i gasp. "sunwoo-"

"it's okay." he laughs. "i'm not hurt about it anymore. i was only joking."

"are you sure?"

he nods. "anyways, i actually want to apologise to you first."

i frown. "about what?"

"not talking to you at all when i should've. and talking to jungmin instead." he says, checking my face for my reaction.

i don't react, though. "jungmin?" i ask. "how much have you been talking?"

"she's been wanting me to help her ruin you guys, but i didn't want to." he starts with a sigh. "so i felt like talking to her a lot to know how she feels and why she was doing that to you."

i nod. "yeah..? and what?"

"i don't know, she's really confusing. she says she doesn't like taerae anymore, but she still hates you for some reason."

well obviously she hates me, i dated someone she was in love with. i kind of understand her, but i wouldn't go as far as she would.

i laugh. "not surprised. so like are you friends orrr?"

"somewhat. we talked a lot besides the things with you and taerae." he shrugs.

"ooh~ so you talk to her a lot huh?" i tease.

he scoffs. "you're weird. she deadass harassed everyone and you say that?"

"well, i don't care about her anymore, and she seems to be getting nicer so like.. but if she doesn't like me then whatever."

if i'm honest, i do still dislike jungmin for what she did. but for me, i think that in the future she wouldn't be too bad. hao told me things she's done for him, and she seems quite nice. but for now, after everything she's done. it's kind of a no.

"right okay.. anyways, we've texted a lot and i just remember how much shit she's done to everyone and i feel so shitty for it." he sighs.

"i mean she did do a lot of shit." i shrug. "you don't need to feel bad if you're friends with her."

he shakes his head. "i know but she's actually quite nice if not being a bitch, so i can actually talk to her sometimes."

"sunwoo don't feel bad, it's fine." i chuckle. "i'm not going to stop you from being friends with her or anything."

"but she was so horrible to you?" he frowns.

i shrug. "well clearly. she's a bit crazy but she's stopped as of now, so i'm not that upset anymore."

he suddenly pulls me into a tight hug. "i'm so sorry. i really am."

i laugh and hug him back. "why are you so emotional? i told you it's fine. the main problem is just your mum."

he pulls back and covers my mouth. "she might be listening. but i have to tell you something actually." he whispers.

i look up at him with a confused face, making him take his hand off of my mouth. "so i kind of told the police about her–"

i get up in shock. "you what?" i whisper-shout. "sunwoo she's your mum." i whisper more quieter.

"no listen i know but she came here illegally." he says. "you do know she's not from here don't you?"

i nod. "but like, how and why? i mean i get it she's done some weird crimes or whatever but still."

"they're either going to give her a fine or make her move back." he says.

my mouth was wide open. "what exactly did you tell them?"

"about the drugging, i also found out she was underage drinking, and moving here illegally." he explains. "i know it's bad but i already have support from other people."

"why didn't you do this before?" i ask.

"i needed proof idiot, all i could find was text messages between her, my brother, jungmin and my uncles." he sighs. "i have to. you do realise i'm doing this for the safety of everyone right? she's planned more already."

"like what?"

"why else do you think my half brother is here when i never talked to him or knew him?" he says before we hear a knock on the door.
