Monsterphilia, The Hearths Will PT2 Finale

There were so many people around him, he figured it would take him all day just to even find Syr. Eventually, he took a small break on a bench in his hand a crepé. The crepé was supposedly a sweet treat with bits of fruits and creamy sugary goodness. Not to mention it was cheap too! What a steal!

One bites, two bites, three bites and he is barely able to finish it. Maybe a little bit too sugary? Sighing to himself, he looked up to the sky, it's ever blue-ish gleam seemingly entrancing him.

"Bell-kun!" Ah, he could hear Hestia calling his name...a shame it was just his imagination. "Why are you ignoring me, Bell-kun?!" Hestia was right in front of him with her casual attire, with a brown strap over her shoulders, pertainingthat she was carrying something on her back. "Sorry Goddess. What's with the bag?"

"Nevermind that, come on, I need to refill my Bellergy!" Her what? Seeing his confusion, she answered. "Bell plus energy, Bellergy!"

He handed her his crepé. "Have this then, it is a little too sugary for me. I took a few bites, hope you don't mind them." Suddenly, Hestia bit into it as her life depended on it.

"Goddess? It's okay to eat it slow you know?" This was quite unusual. "Yeah your right Bell-kun, I should savor the flavor (your flavor)." She meekly smiled.

At that same time. She was one the move, all of this for her Odr.

"Hey! You can't be in her-" The voice of a Ganesha familia member had stopped speaking. A figure came into view, her purplette eyes shined like gems in the gritty dark tavern. A sight of monsters lined up in chains and cells in front of her.

She walked gracefully, stopping in front of a Silverback. "You'll do just fine..." She smiled ever wider. She disappeared after that.

"Are you guys slacking off or some-" Ardi Varma, was tasked by her God to see why there was no one pushing the other monsters out. There were no monsters... "...Shit."

"Eina-chan?" Eina Tuelle was in quite a panic over something before she saw Loki, Aiz and Makoto. "Loki! Sword Princess, Yuki-san! Please, help us. Monsters were let loose."

He spoke up. "The amount of them?" She shook her head as she hadn't a clue of how much were out and about. "I should've brought my sword..." He kept his Evoker with him at all times, his sword was a no show today.

Loki looked at him. "I'll be the supporter role then. Miss Aiz, you'll take the lead. Let's go."

Aiz drew her sword, before rushing in a direction of panicking denizens of Orario. He trailed after her, giving a last glace toward Loki.

Lefiya Viridis, had been spending her day with the two Amazonesses, Riveria-sama, and Alice.

What was once a good day turn sour, a plant like monster had been running rampant, causing them to fight defensively. She had begun to chant to aid her comrades, before being targeted and slapped away. "Guh!"

"Lefiya!" Tione shouted with concern. The Amazoness turned around before making herself a new victim to the plant monster. It had grabbed her leg before slamming her down onto the pavement.

"Focus! We have to take it down now!" Riveria knew they had a chance of winning. However, she didn't know it's weaknesses. "Watch out Alice!" Alice narrowly dodged it's whip-like attack. She couldn't dodge the second one even with her speed. She closed her eyes before it never came. "Tetrakarn."

"Are you alright, Miss Forestlight?" And there he stood behind her, an invisible shield around her preventing the attack from knocking her down. "Yuki...Makoto?" "It will be okay. I'll handle it from here." Without a sword, it could be a difficult battle. However, he did not need it. He had another form of attacking.

"To injure a student of mine...Agilao." one root down... "To hurt another in front of my eyes...Zionga." A quick flash of lighting crisped two other roots...

"Lefiya Viridis." Lefiya stood up from her last attack. "Let us end this monster's terror shall we?" She walked up to him, she understood. It was time to unleash a spell he had used this time...with more power.

"Garula!" It came to her naturally, the magic was imprinting into her mind. Garula, the second tier of Garu spells as he called them. The wind uprooted the plant monster into the air.

"Now...all out attack!" Tione who was previously hanging grinned, before pounding the plant monster into oblivion. "That's what you get, trash!"

"Goddess...why is there a Silverback heading right towards us?!" He had been simply enjoying some time with his Goddess, until they were in the sight of the behemoth itself. What does it want? Why is it coming for us?

Without thinking, he grabbed Hestia while apologizing, and ran through several streets, the Silverback giving chase.

"...This is...?" He remembered this street, it was Daedaleus Street, one to be known as a maze within Orario. 'It's worth the shot.'

He just needed to drop Hestia off somewhere safe, and turn the Silverback's attention towards himself.

'There...!' He found a gate that had a narrow lane. Hestia found herself locked behind a metal door. "Sorry Goddess, I can not have you get hurt or worse. Please, stay here until someone finds you." Hearing a growl, Bell ran again.

'Bell-kun...? You are in so much trouble!' She had to find a way out, to give this to her troublesome only child. 'This time, for sure, I can save you!'

"It caught up so quickly!?" He was sure he had outran it...!

Having nothing, he couldn't fight it. He just couldn't. Dodge. Evade. He ducked it's swing of it's arms.

'I won't have enough stamina left to keep this up...'

"Bell-kun!" He dreaded not too long after. Why did she come back?

"Watch out Goddess!" He shoved her out of the way, however he had been hit in the process. 'Geh...'

"Bell-kun!" She ran towards him. "Come on, we need to get out of here. At least for about 3 minutes at max." His body ached, but he would move his body for his Goddess. He then saw it, a trick wall, one that allowed people to escape from danger.

The Silverback grew confused, then furious. His prey escaped this time, yet he will find them. Very soon.

"Bell-kun...this growth, and you got a new skill?!"

"Goddess..." He hugged Hestia. He found himself doubting, but if it was for Hestia, he would do so.

"I'm scared..." Hestia wiped a single tear away from Bell. "You are stronger than what makes you weak, Bell-kun. Now." She gave him the blade, it corresponded with a warming glow. "Take it down!"

"Hai!"

Without wasting a chance, he had struck the Silverback at the backside, it howled in pain.

"...This is!"

Hestia peered over and shouted. "It is our power Bell-kun! Now go!"

He blocked the chains of the next attack, the chains shattering upon impact. Faster! Stronger!

He would become a hero for his Goddess. As she was to him.

He had been sent up to the air, grabbing a clotheslines, he struck back with speed and power.

"This one is for Goddess!" At that moment, when he struck, he allowed himself to smile.

The Silverback exploded into white ashes. It's core dropping onto the pavement, he could hear the sounds of cheering. Yet all he wanted to do was see his Goddess. "I did it Goddess!" "Good job Bell-ku-" She had fainted not to long after. "Goddess!"

"Thank you for lending us a room, Mama Mia." "Not to worries kiddo. After all that you and her went through, this it the least we can do." Mama Mia waved him off, going back downstairs to hopefully not shout at her staff.

"Syr?" Syr peeked at him. "You know Bell-kun, I saw your battle against the Silverback. You looked so cool." "Is that so? Well, it was mostly thanks to my Goddess."

"Still, maybe that's why I fell in love with you?" Did he hear that right? "L-love?!"

Syr ran down in embarrassment. "Wake up soon, Goddess."
