It's not as bad as it used to be, but a lot of people still say that all Christians are homophobic. I know for a fact that that isn't true because I exist and a lot of my friends exist as well. Yes, there are people that go to this mile:

And I don't think that's right. Yes, I can honestly say I don't agree agree with homosexuality because I read it in the Bible for myself so I know God doesn't like it, but I won't start discriminating against people for their choice in life.

I don't particularly care who you hold hands with in public, who you decide to date or who you take to bed at night. But I might not stand on even ground with your decision.

That is where I will put my size 7 foot down.

If you think about it, if all humans were meant to be gay, there would be no next generation because a man cannot get a man pregnant and vice versa. I will stand by that belief. Even if someone thinks this, I will not hate them for it. However, this can be put to the test when people from the LGBTQ+ do or say offensive things against Christians or other countries. I know it's not everyone and I apologise to the majority for the acts of the minority but this must be addressed.

For why though.

Alright storytime.

It was this year's pride month and I can't really say I was excited because I'm not even part of the community but I didn't really expect to see what I did that day in school. I entered my form room and a lot of people were crowded around one phone at a time. So obviously I was curious. Then I saw that, and other signs and posts like it. And I can honestly say, I could have cried.

I will not dispute the fact that the LGBTQ+ fight for their rights and are still fighting. The country I live in is nice enough to give them rights and parades and all their festivities. Some countries like Russia are  way worse. Nowat some have rights, they are abusing it by offending people like this. That is not respectful at all, in my opinion.

And the thing that I find funny is, none of it actually makes sense.

"Allah is gay."

He is genderless so who is he being gay towards??? Please explain where this theory is from.

"Jesus is queer."

Ok as a Christian, I was triggered. I bet you my whole future there is nowhere in the Bible that says Jesus is queer. Please, find for me in the Bible where it says "Jesus stood on the hill with the 12 disciples surrounding him. The heavens opened and a rainbow formed in sky with all the animals bowing down to him and he declared, " I am queer.""

It doesn't ok. So stop saying Jesus is queer. Just because he didn't get married, doesn't mean he was questioning his sexuality. Abeg please.

I need to speak up for a lot of people at this point: God doesn't hate you.

A common phrase I go by is "hate the sin, not the sinner". Whether a person is gay or trans or bi, it doesn't matter. They are still a human with feelings. A lot of my friends have come out to me and they're the same as before; the light I see them in has not changed. I just have to be more wary of the jokes I make and what I say, that's all. A gay person is still a person and their decisions do not impact your life. Yes, I see homosexuality as a sin but I won't start making signs saying," Go to hell!" or "God hates fags." Which brings me to my next and final point.

I cannot understand why the term"faggot" is used to describe gay people.intoomanyfandoms13 told me about this and I actually find it funny I'm sorry😂
