I may have not liked her, but she was trying to manage and lead us during our unfavorable situation.

Then... What did she do to deserve getting crushed by a bookcase?!

Adruia: *crying* J-Junie... Pl-Please talk me!

(Maxine and Alina had picked up the bookcase once they arrived in library. With Mascotie giving us a file describing the victim's wounds and such, there was no reason to leave the body under the bookcase. ...despite it being more horrifying without the bookcase crushing it.)

Audria: *crying* I-I can help you back to your room, so you can get some rest... That way you won't have to sleep on the fl-floor.

Wilma: ...

Sunni: Maybe you should get some rest as well, Audria?

Audria: As soon as Junie—

Sunni: Uh... Let me take you to your room. I don't think you've been sleeping well.

(Sunni took Audria's arm and guided her out of the library. As soon as those two left, Mascotie came in.)

Alina: What the hell did you do to her?!

Scottie: Nothing. It's you ladies that can't stop killing each other! ^o^

Sapphire: Do we have another file for the body?

Scottie: Yep! A new F-File has been updated to your phones.

Takako: I guess we have to do this investigation thing again, huh?

Scottie: Come on! You have to be more enthusiastic than that!

Takako: No, I–

Tala: WOOOOOOH! I LOVE INVESTIGATING!

Mao: Especially when it's Junie.

Scottie: See? You've gotta have their energy, Taka. Otherwise the readers will dismiss as you bland and forgettable. -,-

Yi: Can you leave us alone so we can investigate? I can't sniff out the killer with you being so obnoxiously distracting.

Scottie: In a good way? :)

Yi: Not in the slightest.

Scottie: Ugh... I'll see you shits at the trial. _•_

(Scottie left us without much to say. I began to examine Junie's body when Takako approached me.)

Takako: Sapphire?

Sapphire: Yeah?

Tatako: Would you mind if I tagged along during your investigation?

Sapphire: Not at all!

Maxine: Hey, do Alina and I need to watch over the body again?

Daphne: Oh! Oh! Wilma and I can do it!

(Daphne pulled a tired Wilma alongside her walking over to the body.)

Daphne: The detective is a little tired, so I'll have to use my princess magic to make sure she gets a good sleep.

Sapphire: I think a lot of us could use a good sleep.

(I glanced over at Malon who had fallen asleep standing up. Tala kept poking her, but her eyes stayed shut.)

Anahita: We'll get one after the trial.

Why do I feel like that won't be the case...?

(Takako and I checked the F-File.)

Name of Victim: Junie Sledge

Talent: Ultimate Judge

Location of Body: 2nd Floor Library

Victim's Injuries: Cracked skull and various crushed bones

Time of Death: ???

Huh? There's no time of death.

How odd.

F-File added to evidence.

• The F-File says Junie was found in the library with various cracked and crushed bones.

Takako: I wonder what the murder weapon could be?

Anahita: Bookcase, obviously.

Takako: I was being sarcastic...

Bookcase added to evidence.

• The bookcase had fallen on Junie, presumably killing her instantly based on the blood and her injuries.

Maxine: How did the bookcase fall on her?

Sapphire: Well, Mascotie told us that it was loose, so I guess someone must have pushed it from the library stairs.

Takako: Wouldn't that mean the killer is someone who knew about the bookcase not being bolted to the wall?

That makes the most sense. But is that really the case?

Bookcase evidence updated.

• Mascotie said that the bookcase was not bolted to the wall and could be knocked over easily. The only known people to know about this mechanic are: Sapphire, Daphne, Wilma, Takako, Sunni, and Anahita.

Another list? How... weird.

Takako: What should we investigate now?

Sapphire: I feel like alibis won't be much help to us, since most of us were tired and probably can't tell the time.

Takako: Surely we have more than a bookcase and the file, right?

Think Saph... What do we need to check out?

The fire extinguisher!

(Takako and I made small journey around the building to check the fire extinguishers. The one by the auditorium seemed perfectly fine, however the library one was missing.)

Didn't Sunni say that the auditorium one was missing? Why is it here then?

Fire Extinguishers added to evidence.

• There are two known fire extinguishers in the building. One by the auditorium which seemed to be intact, and the one by the library which was used on the kitchen fire.

Sapphire: Something doesn't add up...

Malon: No point in thinking about it now. Might as well save it for the trial.

Sapphire: ...

Takako: ...

Shit how long has Malon been standing there?!

Sapphire: Where did you come from Malon?

Malon: The kitchen. I was getting some coffee.

Sapphire: Speaking of the kitchen, we should probably check it out. The fire seemed to be a pretty big distraction for the killer.

Takako: Yeah. *nods*

(Takako and I went to the kitchen to investigate. It was still fresh from the fire, Mao desperately trying to cook something. However, she seemed to be too tired to realize the oven eye she was using wasn't turned on. Tala was also nearby, cheering on Mao as she tried to fry an egg.)

Tala: You can do it, Mao-Mao!

Mao: Yeah! A kitchen fire never stopped me before. Why should it stop me now?!

That's concerning.

(The most of the kitchen counter surfaces were burnt, many interfaces being unusable. Aside from the fire extinguisher on the ground and the scene, there wasn't much to note.)

• A fire took place in the kitchen. This drew the attention of many people, Wilma being the one to finally extinguish it. This likely gave the killer a distraction to slip away and kill Junie.

Takako: If we aren't getting alibis, I think this all we can get.

Sapphire: There's one person specifically that I would like to speak with.

(We made our way to the rooms. I had a feeling our investigation time was nearly up, so I would have to be quick.)

Sapphire: Sunni, can I talk to Audria?

Sunni: I don't think she wants to talk right now.

Sapphire: I need to ask her when the last time she saw Junie was.

Sunni: Audria needs time to rest and well.. grieve.

Sapphire: But...

Sunni: Here.

(Sunni handed me a piece of paper. I read over it, before looking up to them for answers.)

Sunni: They gave this to me to give to your during the investigation. I doubt it answers all the questions you had for her, but I think it should cover enough.

Audria's Note added to evidence.

• The note says that it's addressed to Junie and from Audria. It reads: Meet me in the library when you wake up.

Takako: You don't think...

Sapphire: No.

This has to be from the killer. But why did Junie trust it? Wouldn't she, of all people, recognize Audria's handwriting?

Intercom: Everyone meet in the auditorium and don't be late!

(Everyone did as the intercom commanded. We didn't need to be told what to do this time, we just took ours seats.)

Everyone's already acting like this a normal thing that we do!

(The empty seat beside Audria made my stomach knot.)

I will bring Junie's killer to justice. No one deserves to die, especially like how she did.

(The ride to the trial room was silent. Dead silent. Not even Tala talked.)

Scottie: Get to your podiums everyone! We've got a trial to speedrun!

We'll be going back with less people than we came to the trial room with...

Scottie: Let the class trial begin!
