I woke up and Michael was not by my side. I didnt hear the sound of music and I didnt smell food. Instead the clock read 2 in the morning and Michael was talking to someone pissed.

"I dont care Peanut that shouldve been done already man!"

I got up and put on his tshirt.

"Yea well we're fucked now he's coming."

Creeped around the side heading to the cabin kitchen.

"Damn! How much do we own em?"

Michael was sitting there looking stressed. Half dressed in his jeans he continuously ran his hand through his hair. He looked over at me and signaled to give him a minute. I nodded and sat in the front room and looked at my toes. Perfectly polished with a sinful red.

Why in the hell is he up this late?

After thinking that Michael was off the phone and walking towards me. He sat down and I cuddled next to him. "Is everything ok baby you're up so late."

"No Im not. We owe this man some cash."

"How much?"

"About 5 grand."

I laid up off of him as soon as he said that. How could Michael get himself into so much trouble and not let me know? "Michael why? And how?"

He sighed. "Just a couple sales gone bad babe. Look if you can't handle me I understand. Im sorry I cant be all you want me to be." he said getting up. I grabbed his hand.

"Baby no wait. Sit down I never said any of that." I said looking into his watery eyes. He was in deep trouble and I had to help him. I loved him too much.

"I can give you the money. I have it. Out of my funds."

"Your college funds? No baby you cant give me your college money. Who knows when I can pay it all back to you."

"Dont let me think about this twice so just say yes." I said looking away. 

"I cant do that to you this is my--"

"Michael say yes or Im leaving."

He sighed. "Ok fine....yes I will take it."

I got up and headed back to the room because honestly I didnt want to be around the drama. I laid back down and looked out the window. Why cant he just leave the game alone and focus on college? Is it really that hard to break away once you're in?

Then he came in and said my name.

"Babygirl are you ok?"

I nodded. He came over to me and held me. "Look babe you really dont have to...."

"Michael i said dont mention it again." I said, my voice breaking.

"Im sorry babygirl ill be quiet." I turned from him and said I was going to bed. "Look at me Akene." I shook my head and ignored him more.

"Dammit look at me girl!"

His voice made me jump and I looked at him. "Im not gonna keep doin this to you. If you're going to be sad and hurt like this then..."

"You're kickin me out?! Is this what you do after you take a girl's virginity? After I laid down and completely gave myself to you this is how you do me?"

"Babe you know I didnt mean..."

"No I KNOW what you fuckin meant. Im gone." I said throwing off his shirt and throwing on my clothes. "Akene please wait I dont want it to end like this."

He said end so he was dumping me. I was terrified and hurt because I was in love with this guy and it felt as if his feelings went away. I was crying hysterically and I walked out the door. I realized that Michael drove here so I was really in for some shit.

I called V and told her exactly where I was and she was there 20 minutes later. "Akene dont go please." I ignored him and hopped in her car. V gave him the finger as she sped off.

We were finally at her house and I laid helplessly on her bed and cried. She rubbed my back as I whimpered softly.

"I know girl. Its going to be ok I promise."
