Karma and Rio surprisingly arrived at E-class earlier than they usually would. Even Korosensei wasn't in the building yet, were were only four in total people. Them, Nagisa, and Isogai.

As they passed the blue and black haired boys, they overheard bits of their conversation. "...... Kayano asked me to junior prom, I feel kinda embarrassed I couldn't muster up the courage to be the one to asked--But I'm excited"

"--Hiroto asked me too, he even already got us tuxes.. That was sweet of him" Isogai said blushing. Hearing this made Karma's ear perk up. Right, junior prom. The event that has the whole school in buzz, even some teachers were affected(the other day Korosensei talked to anyone who would bother to listen about his experience with prom, but no one believed that someone like him would have been able to attend a single one)

His thoughts went to a certain student Council president. No doubt that boy would be stressing for the preparations of the event, wanting everything to be perfect, down to the smallest detail as the table napkins.

Would he take anyone?

Obviously he would, he has the school worshipping the ground he walked on. Girls are probably already buzzing around him like bees to try to gain his attention and take them to--

"What the fuck?" Rio exclaimed, lifting the top of her desk. Karma, curious, went to see what it was. Inside the table where usually her pens and papers were at, were a dozen bananas. Karma bursted out laughing and teasingly called his friend a monkey, who responded by stomping on his foot. "Ouch! Hey look there's a note"

Rio reached for the coupon bond. There's written in red and pink marker was a message

Lovely Nakamura Rio-chan, I'd have to be BANANAS not to ask you to prom, will you go with me?

Karma cringed at the cheesy letter. Rio meanwhile was touched. For the past month she had gotten closer to the smooth talking literature boy of A-class, maybe even formed a crush for him. "Hand me that colored paper and---can I borrow a thousand yen?" She asked Karma.

The red head wouldn't admit to being jealous of the blonde. HER crush asked her to prom, maybe even reciprocate her feelings. Him? Nothing.

Sure his friendship with the strawberry blonde, Asano Gakushū, has become stronger and closer ever since E-class proved their worth and he saved the boy from his father throwing a desk at him (Author: reference to @patheticgril 's Rendezvous, there's a chapter where Gakuho threw a desk at Gakushū but Karma shielded him. Check it out its great)

But he could not help himself if he wanted more out of the blonde. Wanted more than just his acknowledgement and friendship.

"Akabane!"

The red head was pulled out of his thoughts. He looked up to see Gakushū himself running up the mountain. He stopped in front of Karma, hands on his knees and catching his breath. "What're you doing here? Shouldn't you be in the main building where you belong?" He asked coldly.

Gakushū was confused by his coldness. But nevertheless gathered himself and asked "--what color do you want the corsage to be?"

"Hah?" Karma asked, confused. "Ahh.. You know.. For prom?"

"What?"

"The back of Ren's letter! There was a message from me too--I wanted a separate letter but I had limited time and Ren was getting impatient so I ended up piggybacking him" he facepalmed. "I should have known his dumb idea would backfire---Will-" swallowing the lump in his throat, he, blushing with embarrassment, asked "Wichugothropromwitme?!"

Silence

Karma smirked. Awwe how adorable the almighty Asano-kun got tongue tied asking him to prom(perfect teasing material for later!)

Gakushū slapped himself. "This is not my day--just go to prom with me!"

"Well-"

"I already bought a corsage for you so you can't say no--bye" and the boy dashed down the mountain again, ears red.

The next day

Gakushū and Ren were studying together in the living room at the Asano residence. They were interrupted by a knock on the door

The boys went to see who it was, but only found a very large box left behind. Curious, Ren opened it.

The inside was filled to the brim with peanuts. And one note

Gakushū/Ren

We'd be NUTS not to go to prom with you. We're on top of the world right now. Enjoy the nuts by the way(Karma paid for it)

"Cute" the friends said together. Just then, Gakushū's older sister Nanami comes running out of the house, but trips and fall face first to the box full of peanuts. Which she was deathly allergic to.

"AHHH!" Gakushū screams and lifts her out of the box, Ren called for an ambulance.

The next day, Karma received a surprise in his locker

As soon as he opened the locker, confetti bursted out, followed by hot air. The red head was blown back and hit the wall. Groaning he forced himself up and, with difficulty, fought the raining confetti from his locker and reached to close it.

"What the fuck?!" He looked down and saw a note had fallen out.

It read

Hey AIR HEAD! did you forget my sister is allergic to nuts?! She had to go to the hospital thanks to you!
--Gakushū

P. s. my parents want to take pictures at my place before the dance if that's ok.

"Ahh you got one two"

He turned around to see an irritated Rio covered head to toe in confetti, holding a similar note.

(AIR HEAD Nanami-nee was sent to the hospital because of your stupid peanuts! She was allergic! also Asano-kun's parents suggest all four of us take pictures first at the Asano residence before the dance)

The two of them, breathing heavily with disbelief, tossed the letters to the bin and stormed to class.

The next day

Ding dong

"I'll get it!" Ren said to his parents before going to the door.

He warily poked his head outside. Before fully stepping out, he looked left and right, but there was nobody there. "Who- ACK!"

Snow fell on top of him, burying him completely. Which did not made absolute sense because it wasn't even winter season, FAR from it in fact! He managed to dig himself out.

Paper landed on his head.

"What the-" he started, before reading

HOW DARE YOU call me an AIR HEAD! and you think I want to go to the dance with you?! The answer is SNOW! s-NO!

And the next next day

Karma warily, slowly, opened his locker. He braced himself for another explosion of confetti but... Nothing. Breathing a sigh of relief he reached inside for his textbooks. A letter fell out

He bent down to pick it up it read

Well fine! Akabane, I didn't wish to go to prom with you anyway! Now you can just imagine what we could have BEEn

Karma frowned. Bee-n? Be--- "BEES!" Bees came out from the vents. The E-class students started screaming, running, and hiding.

Karma covered his ears and ran out into the forest, jumping into the river and staying there until the bees left. Unfortunately, he didn't escape unscathed and was left with a few bee stings.

And after that

Ding dong

Gakushū and Ren, both holding metal baseball bats for defense, hesitantly opened the door. Standing outside was someone dresses in a cute walrus costume. The person held out a note

The two warily took it and read

We guess we'll just leave this WALRUS to teach you a lesson! >:(

"Is this supposed to be a pun?" Ren asked the walrus. "I'm not following, where's the word play? It doesn't make any sense" Gakushū said with a frown.

The walrus picked up two pumpkins and-

SMASH!

Smashed the orange vegetable on their heads. Then the walrus picked up Gakushū and swung the boy over his shoulder like a sack of potatos. "AHH!" he screamed when the walrus started shaking him aggressively.

The walrus dropped Gakushū on his back, grabbed Ren, and tossed him to the side. Just then, more snow fell from the roof and buried them both.

A week later

Rio, shaking, eyes wide, clothes a mess, and pale, cautiously walked to her locker. Behind her was Karma, his face and arms covered in bandages from the bee stings.

The duo were paranoid of everything now. After a week of back and forth word play and dangerous revenge, the four of them, Karma, Gakushū, Ren, and Rio... Were starting to get... A little.... Well, unhinged

"Fuck them" Rio growled slowly opening her locker. But to her surprise and immense relief, there was nothing inside.

Karma reached inside his bag.

And pulled out a colored paper with a message written in black marker. "Fuck this" he muttered.

I can't do this anymore, My family is worried for me. I spent my last allowance on paint bombs

KABOOM!

Suddenly Rio was covered head to toe in pink, blue, red, green, purple paint. The other's eyes widened at the sight of her. "What a sight for sore eyes!" Terasaka managed to comment. No one else found his remark witty or funny however, since they were all affected by this too. The bees incident was still fresh on their minds.

Can we please call a cease fire?

WHOOSH!

"FUCK!" Karma dropped his bag that suddenly bursted into flames.

Also what's with the walrus thing? Was that... Word play I didn't get? It's just that I'm busting my BUNS over here to get my puns to work

"HEY!" Ren(wearing a leg cast and a black eye) jumped out from behind a wall, holding a toy gun. He shot at Karma, who ducked, and hit Rio. Turns out the gun shot out burger buns. "That's a waste of food!" Isogai yelled.

Ren tossed the gun to the side and jumped out the window, running(more like limping) away from E-class building and down the mountain. Unfortunately for him he ended up tripping and rolling down the rest of the way

Which caused further injuries

Okay that is all, Bees

"Bees?!" Bees once again appeared from the vents

Everyone was in complete panic.

I mean GAKUSHŪ! My bad

A month later

Karma, hair disheveled, sporting a busted lip and black eye, a cast on his arm, and more bee stings on his face, laughs menacingly as he pushes a box full of dynamite to Gakushū's front lawn. Rio laughs cruelly along with him. She had a cast on her right leg, her left arm, and still had the lingering smell of paint.

"Yes.... Yes.... yes!" Rio cheers

"Hey"

The two jumped and fell on the box in a sorry attempt to cover the dynamites.

Gakushū appeared with Ren from behind the house. Ren was in a wheel chair and Gakushū had to walk with two crutches. "Did you get our messages?" Ren coughed out.

"I--we--uhh--yes!? Rio stuttered, getting up with Karma's help. " I-I-I we were going to respond with... "

"Yes we can still go to prom" Karma worded. "Don't explode yourselves with excitement"

"Can we still have a blast at prom?" Gakushū carefully approached. His crutches made his walk slow, and Ren wheeled himself towards them with much difficulty.

The four of them, seeing the affects of their actions to each other(they were literally wearing casts and were using crutches and a wheelchair) felt guilty for what they put each other through the whole month. "Did you mean it though?" Gakushū asked Karma. "That we can still go to prom? Despite-" he gestured to themselves.

Karma and Rio forced a pained smile(Karma especially, since the bee stings made it hard to smile)

"Wanna go out?" Ren asked Rio. "I know a... Good restaurant"

"Double date" Gakushū added.

"Why not" the other two answered. Like the gentlemen they were, Ren and Gakushū held out their hands for Karma and Rio to take.

Except, Rio stood behind Ren to wheel him

And Karma helped Gakushū walk

"Where'd you find all those bees anyway?" Karma asked the strawberry blonde. "My... Father know a bee keeper" Gakushū admitted.

Secretly, he signaled the men hiding behind the trees to leave. The men were holding boxes labeled 'caution: wasps'

And Karma threw away the detonator explosion in the trash bin.

Their injuries enabled them to attend prom, but they found a different way to enjoy the evening together anyway.

Gakushū's mother, father, sister, and himself stood in front of their house. It was burning down to the ground.

Meanwhile

Karma and his parents ran around screaming as the wasps attacked them

With Rio

"DAAAAAMN IT!!!" Rio screams as her entire house was flooded. All of he pipes had out of nowhere exploded.

With Ren

"SNAAAKES!" Ren wheeled himself out of the house, his entire body wrapped around in snakes. Luckily they weren't the poisonous kind, but unluckily, he didn't know that.
