Lee didn't stay to hear Cassie and Astrid explain the story that she had already heard a hundred times over. Hell, she even remembered the day word got round of the first family of vampires and what the Original Witch had done.

Since everyone else was with Cassie and Astrid, Lee decided to take herself off to the pub again as she had nothing better to do, she was playing darts when Steve came up behind her. 

"Hello, did you enjoy the story?" Lee asked him as he walked over.

Steve nodded. "It was actually quite interesting," he admitted, "Everyone's already heard about vampires but hearing firsthand was something else."

Lee hummed. "I remember the day I heard about it."

"Have you ever played darts before?" He asked once more when seeing the dart board.

"Yes, but I was never very good at it," Lee chuckled at his observation of the board. 

Steve gestured for her to walk over to him so she did. He stood behind her and held her arm in the right position to throw the dart. Lee threw it and it landed right in the middle, it was only after when she got quite flustered at how close their faces were. It was Steve who cleared his throat and moved away first.

"So, Cassie accidentally let slip that you and her were on the titanic together," Steve said. Lee knew where this was going. "She told me to ask you about it when she also let slip that you were immortal."

Lee sighed and rubbed her temple, of course Cassie had to 'let it slip'. "I may as well get straight to the point. I'm an Eternal, I came here 6000 years ago on our ship called the Domo-"

"'Our'? So there's more of you?"

"Yes, but only a few. We were sent here for one purpose: to protect humans and help them evolve. But we were never to interfere with their conflicts..." Lee continued to tell him the rest of her story as he listened intently. After ten minutes, she finally finished. "So for that do you want to walk me home?"

Steve smirked and shook his head, he held out his arm and Lee linked it as they walked home through the dark in silence before Steve spoke, "Do you know any constellations?"

"Yes, that one there is Leo," Lee told him and pointed to the one above them. "You can tell because it looks like the animal it represents. See? It has a Sickle asterism outlining the lions head and mane."

"How the hell do you know all that?" Steve asked her.

Lee blushed slightly and smiled. "I made most of the constellations."

"Why does that not surprise me?" He laughed and they stopped in front of a block of flats.

"Well thank you for walking me home Captain," Lee thanked him and she turned around to leave knowing that Steve was still watching. The minute she closed the door she smiled again, leaned against it and let out a breath shut didn't know she had been holding.

Lee walked into the office the next day in a better mood than she had been in in a long time. That is, until Peggy walked up to her and said very bluntly, "Your boyfriend's an idiot."

Lee got confused for a second before realizing she might have been referring to Steve. "Okay first, he's not my boyfriend and second, what did he do?" Lee asked, suddenly very concerned.

"I saw him kissing Private Lorraine outside the Colonels office," Peggy said in a softer tone.

Lee felt a sharp pain in her chest. She was about to reply after a second when Steve walked up to them but Peggy began pulling her away. 

Steve chased after them, "Lee, it wasn't what you thought it was, it didn't mean anything."

"You can do whatever you want Steve, you're not committed to anyone." Lee said but, even Steve picked up on this because of the look in her eyes, it sounded like she was trying to convince herself.

They looked at each other for a minute before Lee grabbed his hand and pulled him over to Howard. "Ah! There you two are, I've been looking for you all morning," Howard called out. "I've recently been focusing my work making sure you two and your men don't get killed."

He showed them a few suits that were on the desk. "Carbon Polymer." He pointed at one for Steve, "Should withstand you average German bayonet. Although Hydra's not going to attack you with a pocket knife."

Lee cocked a brow, "Should?" She asked and Howard just ignored her but she laughed a little.

For the next few minutes he showed Steve diegferent parts of the armour and eventually allowed Steve to keep the vibranium shield he found. Then, he turned to Lee.

"So," he began. "I've noticed that your shield is already vibranium so I left that alone. Your armour however, a couple of people noticed it was Greek Amazonian styled and they explained to me what that meant so I thought if you were comfortable in it the least I could do, make it stand out."

Lee went to reply but was speechless when it was revealed. It was similar to her old armour except it wasn't leather anymore, it was a metal armour, bodysuit, painted red and blue. 

Not vibrant, but it still looked amazing. She still had the metal on her forearms but there was a golden band on her upper left arm. It was only a mini blue skirt which she was fine with as it was easier to move in and the boots now went up to her mid thighs with straps on the back.

 There was also now a strap on her back for her sword and shield to be placed so she wasn't carrying it all the time. To finish it off, there was a headband which made it look perfect.

"Oh my Gods," Lee breathed out, even Steve was speechless at this point. "I love it."

Howard winced a little. "It's not too..revealing? I didn't want to make it seem like I was showing you off to the world I just wanted to make sure you had room to move about."

Lee shook her head. "No! No I love it, it's just what I needed." She turned to Steve and out of the blue asked, "do you like it?"

Steve nodded his head. "It looks amazing, better than mine." he admitted.

Howard moved closer to her. "I'm not going to ask where you got the vibranium shield considering Steve's is the last on earth." he said quietly.

Without missing a beat Lee replied with, "This was made with the first vibranium ever found and the sword was made for me by Queen Hippolyta herself."

Steve just laughed while Howard stood there quite confused. Lee simply stood there and admired her armour. This could one up Thena's she thought to herself and smiled.
