Her life story.

(Noah/Abel's POV)

Waking up the next morning was hell, not only did she take my bed but, she kicked me out as well. Instead of waking up well rested, I woke up with a sore neck and back. She also decided she didn't want my help with the dress either.

Throwing the thin blanket I used off my legs, I stand from the couch and do my best to stretch without hurting my back.

"Wow, your bed is amazing.' Amara smiles as she glides down my stairs.

Giving her an annoyed look, I raise my brows.  "Well, I'm glad one of us got to sleep." I groan.

She offers me a small laugh before wrapping her arms around my neck. Looking me in the eye,  her face heats red.

"Thank you for coming to get me last night." She mumbles. "I don't know what I was thinking, I was high before I called him."

High? She was high? I didn't know she smoked weed.

"It was nothing. " I shrug her arms off when I think about last night. It still angers me that she would run off with that guy, just because I hurt her feelings.  They told me she would only run back to Erick if I got close to her, and that's what she did.

"It was something to me." She grabs my hand before I can fully walk away.

"Amara." I turn to face her. "I really don't want to think about last night, it'll just piss me off again."

"Seeing me with Erick pissed you off that bad?" She places her hands on her hips.

I finally get a good look at what she's wearing. "Are you wearing me shirt?" I can feel my face start to heat up by how cute she looks.  "And my boxers?" I arch an brow when the shirt hikes up, revealing my black boxers.

"Did you expect me to walk around your house naked?"

"Actually, I wouldn't min-."

"No." She holds her hand up to stop me. "I'm about to go home, I'll drop these off when I'm done."

"You're going to wear that outside?" I cock a brow looking at her attire.

"What's wrong with wearing it to my house?"

"It's freezing as hell outside."

From the look on her face,  I can tell she was expecting me to say something rude. I couldn't care less what she wears, but fuck it's winter,  it's cold as fuck out.

"Why don't you just stay here today?" I smile while tucking her hair behind her ear.

"I would but I have therapy. " She pecks my cheek before grabbing her purse off my coffee table.

"Would you like me to give you a ride?" I snake my arms around her waist and pull her into me when she stops in front of me.

"You don't have to do that." She smiles up at me.

"I want to."

***********
(Amara's POV)

"You don't have to come in with me." I turn to face Abel, whom is hot on my trail.

"I can wait in the waiting room." He shrugs. "I don't want to sit in the car for forty five minutes."

Shaking my head in amusement, I allow him to follow me anyways. "You can't come into the room though." I stop at Margot's door.

His light blue eyes scan the door and hall way, pursing his lips he shrugs. "That's fine I suppose."

Before we can go sit down, the door swings wide open. "Amara." Margot smiles excitedly. "Oh and you must be Abel."

The second she addressed him, his eyes landed on me with a knowing look and a sly smirk. He must have it in his head that I talk about him a lot.

"It's finally nice to see the face that belongs to the man I've heard so much about."

Her wild, redhair sways as she speaks to Abel. Rolling my eyes as they go on,  I sigh.

"I'm sorry dear, let's go inside." She smiles. "Why don't we bring Abel too?"

Knotting my brows together, I give her a dumbfounded look. "I don't think that's such a great id-".

"I'd love to join in." He smiles down at me with a mischievous smirk.

Pulling me in the room, Able locks his hand in mine. This couldn't possibly go anyway I want it to, it's going to be a disaster.

"Now that we're all here." Margot smiles as we all sit down. Pulling out her notepad and recorder, she collects herself. "Why don't we do something new?"

Feeling on edge, my eyes go wide. I can only imagine what she is planning for Able and I.

"I'm not sure I'm comfortable talking with him here." I point my thumb at the hunk next to me.

"If you'd like me to go I can, just know I won't judge you or think differently of you because of what you say." He rests his hand on my knee, and squeezes it reassuringly.

No, if I'm going to be with him I want everything out in the open. I don't want him to be surprised by something down the line and get scared off. It's better to see how he reacts to it now then later.

"It's okay, you can stay." I mumble.

"Great." Margot speaks up. "Amara, instead of me asking you question today,  why doesn't Abel?" She gives him nod to go on.

"Is that allowed?" He arches a brow?

"Hey. It's my company, I can do what I want." She jokes and stands to her feet. "I think this could be good for Amara, she has no trust in a single soul and I think it's time she trust someone else besides the person she pays to talk to."

With that she leaves the room.

Awkwardly,  we sit in silence. With his hand still on my knee, he squeezes it again. "I don't even know how this goes."

"Well, the session is already paid for. So I guess just ask what ever it is you want to know." I shrug.

"Okay." He purses his lips and thinks. "What's your favorite color?"

Surprised by the route he took with the questions,  I cock a brow. "What?"

"What's your favorite color?"

"I don't think those are the kind of questions she wanted you to ask."

Shrugging, Abel grabs my hand. "I'm not going to start out with the hard stuff,  what's your favorite color?"

"Green." I look him in the eyes as I answer. He's so different from Erick, it's unbelievable.

Thinking for another second, he narrows his eyes. "That's the only thing I didn't know about you besides your birthday."

"June 3rd, and I'm sure there's more you don't know."

Staring me in the eye, he huffs. "Amara, the only reason I know what I know is because I've witnessed it. I know your habits, your favorite foods and shows. The only thing I don't know much about, is your past with Erick."

There it is,  of course he wants to know about Erick. "Abel, it's a long story."

"The session is already paid for." He uses my words against me. "I never pry, this is the only time I'm going to."

Groaning, I throw my head back. "Fine. What is it you want to know?"

"How did you meet him?"

"I met him in school during lunch when I was a sophomore."

Shaking his head, he continues.  "You mentioned how he wasn't nice to you, what exactly did he do?"

"That's all in the past, I wouldn't worry about it." I try to shrug off his question.

"Amara, I want you to trust me. What ever happened can't change how I see you."
