Easier said than done.

(Amara's POV)

"Amara, it's so great to see you again." My therapist extends her hand for me to shake.

"It's great to see you too Margot."

Leading me to the couch where I've admitted my darkest secrets and scariest horror stories.

"What do you want to talk about today?" She smiles as she puts on her red, pointy glasses and pulls out her notepad.

Shuffling around, Abel pops up in my mind. I'd like to talk about him, but that's not what needs to be discussed.

"How did the body guard thing go? Did you actually do it this time?"

"Yeah, for one night" I shrug.

Jotting that down in her notebook, she gives me another smile. "I'm proud of you for seeking other's help."

Scoffing, I lay down. "I wouldn't call it seeking help, it was for one night."

"I heard your house  broken into." She confesses.

Snapping my head in her direction, I frown. "How'd you know?"

"The news dear. Do you want to talk about that? They haven't found the man who harmed you, does that frighten you? If I was you, I'd be scared he's coming back."

"It didn't until now." I knot my brows together as I give her an offended look.

"Sorry." She laughs when she sees my expression. "It's just scary."

"I'm not too worried about it." I lie through my teeth.

"Back to the session. Last time we talked about Erick and how to handle the situation. You did as I suggested and it worked, right?"

Pursing my lips together, I nod. "For that night."

"You say you can't go to the police because Erick's father is sheriff right?"

I cringe when I think of my ex's father. I don't personally know the man, I only things Erick's told me. Everytime I met the man, we hardly spoke a word.

"Yeah, that's right."

"Have you tried?" She raises a brow at me.

Shaking my head no, I open my mouth to give her a reason why. "He told me I shouldn't even try, his dad won't care. I mean, who wants their child to be known as an abusive piece of shit."

"Do you think he's the reason for your alcoholism?" She leans forward to look at me.

"I'm not an alcoholic." I snort. "Oh look at the time." I check out my imaginary watch. "I should get going."

Before she can say anymore, I leave the room. Pulling out my phone, I dial Erica's number.

"Hey you want to hang out?" I ask.

"Aren't you in therapy?" She sounds serious. "Amara, you know the deal. Besides, I'm on my way to England. I got called in for a photoshoot."

"Well, good luck." I smile for my friend.

After thanking me, we hang up and dial Donny's number, who goes straight it voice mail. My last and only hope for a way out of here is, Abel.

"Hello?" He pants through the phone.

"Abel?" I mumbled through the phone. "Are you busy?"

Grunting, he takes a second to reply. Heaving a heavy sigh, he finally answers. "No, what's up?"

I don't want him to know I have to go therapy. God, that would be so embarrassing.

"Can you pick me up from somewhere?" I bite my bottom lip, awaiting for him to reply. He sounded busy.

"Yeah of course." His tone sounds aggravated.

"Actually, never mind. I'm sorry for calling you." I cringe at how needy I must seem.

"No, I can do it." He says quickly. "Send me the address and I'll pick you up."

**************
(Noah/Abel's POV)

Pulling myself out of the woman on my bed, I grunt. "No what's up?" I answer to her question if I was busy.

Agreeing to picking her up, I shoo the woman away and get dressed. Technically, I'm a single man. I can sleep with whom ever I please. I just won't mention it to Amara.

Getting in my car, I type in the address. Of course the GPS wants to take forever to load, and of course she'd call me before I get off. Blue balls exist, and they fucking suck.

Finally once it loads, the name of the building pops up on the screen. Margot's international therapy.  Why the hell is she there?

After driving for fifteen minutes, I finally pull up to the building. Amara is waiting outside, next to a guy around her age. They seem to engaged in a deep conversation. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she pulls him in for a hug.

Opening her green eyes, she spots me and smiles. Pulling away from the guy, she rubs his back and stands to leave. Grabbing her hand quickly, he leaves a small piece of paper in her hand.

Looking at the paper, she blushes and waves him off before getting in my car.

"What's that?" I ask, point to the paper as I pull out.

"A phone number." She laughs at the obvious.

"Are you gonna call him?" I raise a brow, driving to her favorite bar.

"Is there a reason I shouldn't?" She starts typing the number in her phone.

Which way do I play this? Ask her to be my girlfriend or tell her I don't care.
Pulling her phone away, I tuck it under my leg.

"What the hell?" She snaps.

"Yeah I do think there's a reason you shouldn't. I want you to be my girlfriend."

Looking beside me for a second, I notice her mouth dropped in shock.

"I really like you Amara. That's why I don't think you should call him." Handing her the phone back, I shrug. "You're a grown woman though, if you just want to be fuck buddies, I'll do that."

"So I can have both of you?" She questions.

"What?" I asked shocked.

"That's what you suggested right?"

"No."

"We could be fuck buddies while I sleep with him?"

Gripping the steering wheel, I pull into the bar. "I don't think so." I hop out of my car, slamming the door behind me. I can't help my temper, I want to get off for fucks sake. Watching her get out of the car with her skin tight skinny jeans, showing off her bubble butt. Fuck, she's such a tease.

"Amara." I speak cooly.

Looking up at me, she unzips her coat and follows me inside.

"Did you need something." She ask as I watch the people on the dance floor. I envied the men with beautiful women dancing on them.

My blue eyes drift to her green ones. Her long brown hair falls down her back and her lips spread in a smile. What is she smiling at? Turning and following her eyes, I growl under my breath.

"Why is he here?"

"Funny, I ask that about you all the time." She rolls her eyes at me.

Crossing my arms over my chest, I scoff as Brandon takes in Amara's V-cut shirt.

"I haven't seen you in a while." He smirks as he pushes me out of the way. "My God, you look fucking beautiful." He smiles warmly at her.

Blushing, she smiles and bats her eyes at him. "Thank you."

Wrapping my arms around her waist, I push them up, scooping her breast up with them.

"Isn't she?" I purr in her ear.

Pulling away from my hold, she dusts herself off and glares at me. Excusing herself, she stalks off to the bathroom to fix her top.

"Smooth move." Matt rolls his eyes at me. "You should at least pretend to like her."

Sitting on the bar stool, i shrug as I chug my beer. "I do act like I like her." I snap.

"Pushing her breast up for me to see have full view of, doesn't show you like her."

Giving him a concerned look, I snicker. "I'm not the jealous type Matt, I'd do it to any guy checking her out. You're not special.",

"Yeah?" He laughs, looking away. "Neither are you." He jabs me with his elbow, directing my attention to the bathrooms.

Setting my beer on the bar, I watch the scene at hand. Three college guys sworm Amara, all plastered with goofy, drunk smiles.

"Why don't you go over there and push her breast up for all them to see?"

Glaring at him for a second, I quickly look back at the group of guys and Amara.

"Why don't you shut the fuck up?" I roll my blue eyes.

"I think the one in the middle is gonna try to hit on her first." He pulls out his wallet and smirks.

"Alright, I best douche bag ken doll on the left pisses her off the most." I point to the dressed like a stereotypical rich guy. Pulling out my wallet, I slap down a twenty.

"What do we do if they come on too strong?" He raises a brow when ken doll traps her on the wall.

Meeting her eyes, she gives me a small smile as I sip my beer. "She knows what she's doing." I return her playful smirk.

"She's testing you."

"Doubtfully." I scoff. "Stop trying to sabotage my mission, fuck off."

"She's playing now Noah, but in the end those are three guys agaisnt one, very small woman. Who do you think is going to win that battle?"

I'm not too concerned, I know she can handle herself some. Besides, she's having fun right?

We watch for a couple more minutes when the ken doll leans forwards, he shoves his hand between Amara's thighs. Without hesitation, she pushes his hand away and tries to excuse herself. Grabbing her by her elbow, he pulls her back. Whispering something in ear, earns him a shove and a dirty look.

"Noah it's getting out of hand." Matt growls beside me.

Rolling my eyes, I watch some more. Cupping her face with one hand, the college boy leans down and plants a long kiss on Amara's cheek. When she pushes him away again, he pins her to the wall. The dirty look on her face, shows she's not having fun anymore.

"If you don't do something, I will." He snaps, setting his drink down.

Sighing, I set my beer down and stroll over to my fake girl friend. Pushing past the bodies dancing around me, I finally reach Amara and the lady killer squad.

Shoving the runt of a man away, I tuck my finger under her chin to look up at. "Hey baby, I'm sorry took so long." I give her a deep kiss, and pull her infront of me.

Hugging her from behind, I smirk at the three stooges infront of us. Opening my hands, I firmly grip Amara's chest to hide them away from the men. I enjoy teasing people to.

"Thanks for keeping my girlfriend company." I stand up tall and drop my arms over her torso. "I see you touch her again and I'll kill you." I smirk as I lead her away from this mess.

"That was unnecessary." She hisses as she tugs at her hand.

"So was teasing those guys, that didn't stop you." I snap back just as harsh. Wow, where did that come from?

"They know what was going on the whole time." She stops dead in her tracks. "I told them from the start what I was doing."

Taking her word for it, I sigh and pull her along anyways. "What was it exactly, what you were doing?"

Shrugging, her angry expression fades into a shy one. "I was trying to make you jealous."

Internally, I laugh. There's no way there's nothing, anyone can do to make me jealous. I'm just not the jealous type, I don't need to be. Nothing about this relationship is real.

"So you risk being raped by three college guys, just to get my attention?"

"They wouldn't of gotten that far." She shrugs, unphased by their gropings.

"What makes you say that?"

"If you didn't come over, I would of kicked all their asses." She sips on her tequila and throws an arm around me.

"I believe you." Part of me really does to, she's ruthless. Not to mention, she's already killed someone. I can't tell her that though, not yet anyways. I'm getting closer just like this. I feel like an ass for letting them touch her like that.

"So you're okay?" I close my eyes as I ask the question.

"Yeah." She shakes her head, causing her hair to sway. "I've been touched like that so many times here, I know how to handle it." Her words slur together as she laughs. "Let's get out of here, I'm bored." She sighs and walks over to the bar, swaying her hips the music.
