A R I A N A
"Bye." I waved but only got ignored by Chloe who slammed the door in my face. I sighed, buckling my seatbelt. I get she was angry at me for a reason I didn't know about. But this side of Chloe was very hurtful.
"Is she okay?" Momma asked taking a glance at me. I sighed dramatically trying my possible best to not burst out crying in front of her.
"She's fine. I'm guessing her brother, annoyed her." My voice was breaking slightly but thankfully, she didn't notice.
The town was filled with crowds and cars passing by. The smell of coffee hit my nose as we pass by my favourite coffee shop. Recollections by as what I mean, I didn't want, came back. The evening when Adrian and I, met.
I shivered just thinking about it. Not that I didn't like it, I just don't want to have anything to do with Adrian anymore even if it means avoiding me. He's mean to me and doesn't even talk to me. He scolds me and glares at me coldly. He scares me.
The cool air hit my face, taking away the small drip of sweat that was painted on my forehead. "How was the bakery?" I decided that bringing up a much lighter and caring conversation could at least help my day.
"Good. I sold a lot than usual and I can see some sponsorship flying around!" Mom sing sang. I gasped happily.
"You've got to be kidding me-."
"No sweetheart. Our bakery has the highest ranking in the town of the sweetest pantries. Tomorrow, I have another biggest sale going on and they are going to order 400 thousand loaves of bread for their restaurant. They booked for it already." She said happily. "That's why I'm not going to sleep today. All busy through the day in the kitchen and, you small chipmunk is going to be with me. " I giggled when she taps my nose.
"Can we make all that bread in just one day?" Even if we could, we can't make that much because we didn't have enough storage to put them.
"Oh, don't worry sweetie. They come next week Friday so we have all the time to bake as many as we want." She cheered.
I hummed, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear as I unbuckle my seatbelt. We've finally arrived home and all I want to do is binge watch on my favourite show or simply sleep. I was exhausted, to say the least.
"I'll be in my room if you need me." I nodded. I press open the soda as it gushes open and I quickly rushed it into my mouth to prevent it from leaking. This wasn't the right thing to do on a Saturday afternoon, consuming a whole bottle of soda that had a lot of sugar in it. But my health wasn't my first thought now.
"Are you okay?" A voice spoke. I turned around a little startled to see a stranger She was wearing *Pic above* Her hair looked shiny due to the fact that she cut it. She was pretty but who was she? And why is she in my house? I gulped down the soda that was in my mouth, wiping it after.
"W-who are y-you?" I asked a little bit scared. After the shock, Liam gave me, I wasn't ready to take risks. She laughed a little, a smirk plastered on her pink lips.
"My name is Jessica. I'm the neighbour that just parked in and your mother, I'm guessing, invited me to stay for dinner with my family. I decided to come earlier a little to that so I can spend time with her daughter, Ariana. You must be the one."
Woah! She was very straightforward. Not in a billion-years am I going to have that kind of guts or courage. I threw the empty soda bottle away in the bin, straightening my clothes.
"I'm A-Ariana," I spoke out. My voice was squeakier than hers. She had a deep aura surrounding her and her voice was too deep for a girl. Tomboy much?
"Good! You know right that you drank too much soda for a little girl like you. Sugar isn't that good." She explained. I nodded slowly walking into the sitting room and gesturing for her to come along.
"How old are you?" She asked. I fiddled with my finger, sinking in thoughts more than usual.
"15. I'll be turning 16 in 9 months." I said.
"19. Turning 20 in 4 weeks." She spoke running her hand through her hair. I just stared at her a little confused. She was so much older than me
"E-excuse me but you k-kinda look like a b-boy." I shuttered embarrassingly.
"I'm a stud." She said with a wink. "I date only girls. Studs are like tomboys, they tend to look masculine and boyish."
"Oh." I trailed off, blushing.
"O, my dear! Welcome!" My mom greeted strolling inside. She was wearing a blouse and a scarf wrapped around her neck.
"Good Afternoon, Mrs. Woodman. You have such a beautiful house and mostly a beautiful daughter."
My momma frowned a little. Oh, papa's name made that frown. She cleared her throat. "Thank you." She replied going into the kitchen.
"Dear, I invited Chloe over. She said she'll be here in 25 minutes." Momma announced. I nodded unsurely why I didn't want Chloe to come over.
Maybe because she hurt me? Maybe.
"You 2 get along. Don't be shy!" She said with a wink. I laughed nervously, my confidence washing off. I don't know which reason. Because Chloe was coming or maybe because Jessica was very intimidating. Who knows? Maybe both.
The doorbell rang and all ran to it, Chloe's face ringing in my mind. I wasn't that eager to see her but I had no choice. She was here already and I can't take her back. Immediately the door was opened, I felt warm hands around my neck. she was hugging me.
"I'm so sorry, Ari. I'm super sorry!" She said inhaling my scent. I looked at her, a little dazzled but I hugged her back.
"I was jealous. Jealous of you and your tik Tok fame. You always seem to get more likes than me and that's not fair!" She pouted. I giggles. I think I understand her cold attitude towards me now.
"I've forgiven you. I can also teach you how to make more followers and have a lot of likes if you want." I said closing the door behind me. She was silent.
I turned around. Her gaze was on Jessica and her cheeks were flared up. Umm..what's happening?
"That's Jessica," I said gesturing for her to move forward. She snapped out of her trance and moved, following me behind.
"Jessica, meet Chloe. Chloe, meet Jessica. She's my new neighbour." I chuckled. Chloe's cheeks turned tinted red as she shook Jessica's hands. Meanwhile, Jessica held her wide smirk.
"Once again, I keep on meeting pretty chicks," Jessica commented. I watched, Chloe's cheek only reddening more and more.
Blueberries! What is going on? For reals? I feel left out.
I huffed going into the kitchen to assist mommy. "You guys already made up?" She askes setting white flat plates on the table. I nodded, crossing my arms.
"Are we still baking the loaves of bread today?" I questioned.
"No, tomorrow. I'll just bake them in the Bakery." She answered.
~~
"Thank you," I said once another comment saying I was pretty came. I was sure my cheeks were all red throughout the night.
"Do you want another?" Mom asked Mr. Lake. He shook his head, manly wiping his lips and chin. He sure did enjoy the soup, alright.
"Why don't you 3 go talk? While we 3 adults do some talking." Mrs. Lake said with a smile. I agreed placing my spoon on the table and climbing upstairs with Jessica and Chloe following behind.
Once they were all in my room, I closed it. "Nice room, Kitten," Jessica commented looking around. I smiled, appreciating the comment.
"So...what are we going to do?" Chloe asked and bounced on my bed. The bed squeaked.
"Let's play a game of 21 questions," I recommended. This had always been my favourite game whenever I met someone new. Thanks to Chloe, she was the one who introduced it to me when we first met.
"I'll go first," I said.
"Second." Jessica chirped.
"Third." Chloe but in.
"1. What is your favourite colour?" I asked. Of course, I already knew what Chloe's favourite colour was but this question was mainly for Jessica.
"Mine is Black," Jessica answered. Guessed it, her outfits were all black.
"Mine is Green." I gasped at Chloe's choice of colour. She told me it was pink and now, she entirely changed her choice.
"But you said it-"
" Nah, I choose a new colour when I met Billie Ellish." She spoke. I shrugged, drunkenly. "Mine is white and blue. Sorry, not sorry." Chloe gasped.
"I choose a new colour when I knew you changed to a new colour." That was literally the dumbest answer ever but you know, 50,50
It was Jessica's turn. "Single?" She asked smirking at Chloe.
I felt my cheek burn. How does she always find a way to make cheeks blush?
"Nope. I'm happy as a single pringle." Chloe sing sang. Jessica smirks widened.
"Oh really? Mind if I take you?" She asked. I gasped, feeling a little uncomfortable. What's my problem?
"But Chloe doesn't like girl, does she?"
"I'm Bi." Chloe burst out. I quirked my eyebrow. Okay! What have I not been knowing here? She's bisexual and she didn't tell me? I need a shovel and a coffi-
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Well, I just figured out when I started looking on pics on hot tomboys and watching LGBT videos. It's not my fault they're hot." She dropped her shoulder in a matter of fact way.
"Well, don't worry. I support you." I said bumping fists together.
"As for me, I'm single," I announced. You know, admitting you're single makes you feel proud at first but in a second, you lose it. Like way, way far. Mostly when all your friends are single. Which I'm glad none of my friends are still single. Call me greedy, but it's the most satisfying feeling ever that you're not alone.
"I'm too," Jessica admitted with a groan. "But that doesn't mean I don't have hot girls crushing over me." She spoke, proudness gushing in her voice.
"Why don't you just date one of them?" Chloe asked curling her hair around her finger.
"All fucking bastard! They want me only for themselves and they're dumb!" She answered with a laugh.
"Wow!" I said.
And throughout that day, we spend most of it laughing and throwing pillow fights.

Hey guys!! Happy Friday!
So I decided to add a little bit of LGBT in this book. I don't know if it's the best choice but be expecting a little less of them cos this book focuses more on the protagonist and Adrian. I don't know how to explain but this story has a lot of trips and adventure coming along so buckle up!
