Must be so hard to be the General's daughter and to be constantly perfect." A voice said in my ear. I aimed my blaster at the target.

"Shut up Kyra." I muttered as I hit the trigger. The blast hit perfectly on target.

I turned and walked away. I wore a leather jacket with the resistance symbol spray painted on the back of it in purple paint.

"Kiara. Come." A voice said behind me. Mom. I hurried towards her. She glare at me as Kyra hurried elsewhere.

I had a feeling that something was wrong. "Tell her, General. She needs to know."

"I need to know what!" I snapped the stress breaking me. The eyes turned to face me.

"Captain. Commanders Dameron and Kiaren are missing. All points lead to capture by the first order." I felt sick. A feeling I didn't want to feel.

A scream broke through the silence. In my head. "Kiara are you okay?" A voice said as I felt dizzy.

A dark room filled my mind. I saw Poe on a flat surface. Chained there. He had a bloody lip and other dried blood on his face.

Then a red light broke through the shadows. A lightsaber. "So are you going to tell me the location of the rebel base or not?" A familiar voice said. I recognized that voice.

As I snapped out of the dream I was in a chair. Mom leaned over me dabbing a cloth on my forehead.

"Kylo Ren has them. He's torturing Poe." I managed to mutter as I felt my arms grow slack.

"I knew this would happen. Han will kill me and Luke if he knew that I was telling you this. Kiara, you are force sensitive. But in more ways than normal. You can see visions and use the force. Luke saw this in a prophecy when you were born." Mom explained. They all knew but never told me.

"I wanted to tell you but your father was impossible to let me tell you. So Luke left with Ben and we grew apart. But baby girl, you are powerful. You can do this. That's why Commander Dameron and Commander Kairen were sent to find your uncle." She continued.

My entire life broke.

"Who's Kylo Ren?" I asked. One question at a time Kiara, was what dad used to tell me as a girl. Before he left us.

"Kiara, your brother was corrupted by Snoke. Ben is Kylo Ren." Tears left my eyes. My brother who I never met was torturing my best friends. For what. Answers. Power.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked my anger brewing among my tears. Mom looked saddened.

"Because you were only five sweetheart. Your father and I didn't think you were ready." Mom explained but I didn't care. It had been 13 years since then but I still felt that pain.

I ran away from the control room. My heart felt shattered. I have been lied to for thirteen years. Once I arrived at my room I opened the door and headed inside closing it behind me.

I stared at the photo on my desk. A photo of me - five years old, my brother, Uncle Luke, and my parents. Back when we were happy.

"What do I do uncle Luke? Why do I have these powers? Why did you disappear?" I asked the image. I knew he wouldn't answer but I felt my heart tug at the unanswered questions.

When I woke up I saw mom at the control centre. I noticed stress on her face. As I came over she turned to face me.

"Hey Kiara," She greeted. I wanted to apologize but I couldn't get the words out.

"I'm sorry Mom. I just really miss Ben and I miss dad and Uncle Luke." I said tears stinging my eyes. Her hands touched my cheeks wiping my tears away.

"I know sweetheart. I miss them all the time. But it's apart of life and growing up." Mom said her voice soft. She kissed my forehead and got up.

"Hey, Kiara, why don't you see what Kyra and Millie are up to?" Mom suggested as she walked away.

Kyra and Millie were twins from Naboo. Their grandmother was one of the Handmaidens to Padme Amidala - my grandmother - so I felt close to them because it made me feel like my grandmother was there.

But as I searched for the Twins. I couldn't find them so I went into the forest to train in peace.

Once I found a clearing I focused on the force and tried to blast a tree. I knocked a small sliver of bark of the tree.

"Okay not bad." I said continuing to do it.

Hours later I returned to base. It was now dark and shadowy as I went to find my mom.

"Captain Solo, your mother wants to see you." A voice said behind her. I turned to find Poe. A few scratches marred his face but he was smiling and there.

I ran to Poe and gave him a huge bear hug. He was like a big brother to me. He was here and Ben was evil so this was fine.

"Come on Kiara. We gotta meet your mom." Poe said leading me to where my mom was. My hair was slightly torn from its intricate braid.

My leather combat boots met the floor before I entered the control centre. My eyes met my mom's. I felt everyone's eyes on me.

"You need to see me General?" I asked in properity since I was her daughter in this situation.

Mom froze as C3PO entered the room. What he said made the room go silent.

I only caught pieces but I knew I had to help.

"General, Captain, Han Solo is on Takodana and I got message that help is needed." C3PO said as Mom gasped.

"Send the fleet. Captain Solo, Commander Dameron, prepare to leave."
