The Celestial Creation Factor
Third POV
Arkham; Tsathoggua dwellings
It opened directly to what Velacera had asked just like how Kur had described it. Chuma stepped forward and looked down at the page on display, "fascinating. Truly fascinating I've only read low-level magic circles the celestial have but this is the highest-tier magic circle formula. A very destructive and dangerous no matter who casts it."
"The reverse-creation spell," the Necronomicon began to speak startling everyone, "most well known as the killing spell S-rank in most fabled documented spells but is not permitted to be used without caution. This spell's outcome is drastic to anyone who is the target of this spell it can be only cast once without taking any damage to the caster. Some of the known signs of this spell being cast are the high density in the air and the air becoming heavier as the wind picks up violently. At this point, the target cannot move or can barely move as the spell attacks the center of one's body such as a core(immortals/celestial) or soul (mortals) if one does not have their core in their body the spell will still work as it connects the body and core and destroys both. The spell cannot be stopped once the rings of light connect and surround the body."
"What the" Chuma gasped as he took a step back, "wait Velacera ask about the damage it takes from the caster. Kur used it not once but twice." Velacera nodded his head as he looked down at the book.
"What are the repercussions for casting the spell more than once," Velacera asked as he watched the Necronomicon flip a page before speaking again.
"Repercussions can vary depending on the user," the book spoke again, "from lumerian to demon it can range from mere unconsciousness to internal bleeding which only a star can heal in extreme cases. Deity to mages or witches it can cause internal bleeding to near death and could only be countered with a Star or if they are willing a black hole to counteract the side effects of spell casting," the book paused before continuing, "if a star or black hole has used the spell more than once it can vary on how old or strong the star is such as disorientation or even becoming prone to fainting or becoming weak for a short period. Such rare cases of even becoming a whole different outward appearance age such as young to old or old to young."
The room fell silent before Tsathoggua hummed with interest, "Well seeing how Kur merely woken up at the time and was extremely disoriented and is now resting via his message and on word of that Celestial Devil we could say Kur didn't receive anything too harsh as to what the book described," Tsathoggua tried to lighten the room as Velacera sighed heavily letting go a held breath he didn't know he was holding in.
"I-I suppose you're right," Velacera said sitting down and setting the book on his lap as he pitched the bridge of his nose and rubbed the area, "but why is this spell such a risk it sounds like it should be in our version of the Necronomicon since it gives off such dangers and can be potentially chaotic." Velacera groaned before the sound of another voice sounded from near the doorway of the room.
"It is but it's under a different name," Velacera looked up to see Enma standing there, "Alazif knows of it but I told him never to use it as it could hurt him as well if he ever casts it. It's a last-resort spell," Enma sighed, "everyone grew worried about you two so I came to settle everyone's ease. Also, I got a prerecorded message from Kur as well."
"Greetings, Uncle it's been quite some time hasn't it," Tsathoggua hummed as Enma chuckled, "so what did your message say I'm ever so curious since Kur made the effort of making two, that's probably what drained them so much." Enma hummed as he crossed his arms.
"He informed me that he was resting and that he was concerned for everyone else considering how disoriented he was at the time," Enma sighed, "even asking if the books in the library were acting up since he wasn't there to meditate their rash behaviors of being picked up when they decide to become impatient of being picked up and read. Alazif has kept the library at ease since he always watches Kur do it each morning. Watching Alazif do it now seems semi-strange seeing how much of tasks need to be done before noon."
"That many tasks," Velacera chuckled, "Kur makes it look like it's mere minutes, then again he and Alazif do it most mornings together even though I had helped a few times. I tripped a lot less after Kur and Alazif fixed the stone flooring more than twice." Enma nodded his head before he relaxed his stance his arms hanging to his sides.
"That is true but me seeing all the effort being put into it makes it seem like a hassle," Enma walked further into the room before sitting down in a recliner across from Velacera, "he had also informed about this Necronomicon saying how he gave you access to it as well," Enma peered over it before sighing again, "first generation Celtic meaning it's as old as time itself. Strange as we had just heard it speak. There's bound to be more than just one copy ask about the volumes it may have."
Before Velacera could ask the pages flipped violently before landing on another page as it spoke, "Currently there are 5 volumes alongside the 3 volumes along with the rumored countless copies the Eldritch Gods had created. As of current records hold one celestial volume can be found among the Eldritch Gods volumes and one Eldritch Gods volume can be found among the Celetial volumes it is stated that the cause for such swapping is to keep the first volumes scarce from the corrupted Celestial God, Fushoku. Quoted from Azathoth and Izanagi, 4.9 trillion years ago."
"Wait why is Azathoth's name involved," Enma stood suddenly as he looked closer at the book, "and why did it answer my question without you asking it," Enma grunted as he tried to think of anything that might qualify him to speak to it.
"Answers found," The Necronomicon answered as it continued, "Azathoth and first Celestial Creator, Hajimari had created the flow of the first creational period creating the rules and guides of the flow of the universe. Unfortunately, the Corrupted Celestial God, Fushoku disturbed the flow of rules and guides creating unfathomed destruction more than what was originally supposed to be created by Azathoth. To correct the wrong the eldest creation of Hajimari took on the role of Celestial Creator and with Azathoth recreated new rules and guides of the universe flow. To weaken Fushoku, Azathoth, and Izanagi sacrificed to lock them away Azathoth fell into forever slumber to create the bars and walls around Fushoku as Izanagi sacrificed mobility and voice to create the lock and chains around Fushoku," the book said, " second answer found, magic easily flows from being to being. Anyone who might've made unknown contact with the Celestial Necronomicon within the last century and had opened its pages to read its content can easily ask for this one volume as this is merely a continuous part of the book that was entrusted to the Eldritch Gods from the start of time itself."
"Azathoth and Izanagi knew each other before the blind fool phase," Enma let out a breathless gasp, "does that mean there's more history to that? If that is the case then I might have picked up the Celestial Necronomicon doing the research before," Enma stood up and walked closer.
"Answer not found; this volume is limited to the full history of the golden and silver rules see the first volume to receive that answer," the book answered as Enma sighed, "Have all questions been answered to satisfaction?"
"Yes," Velacera spoke softly as the light faded from the pages and he closed the book and looked up, "so Kur is only tired and weak for a short period but when will he be back." Chuma sighed as Enma crossed his arms.
"I am sure he'll tell us when he's ready," Enma sighed as his posture slumped, "but there are more questions than answers that cannot be found. Did Burakku or Kur say which volume this one is?"
"I thought I heard Burakku say this is volume 3 so the first volume is still in the catacombs of the celestial realm. I, unfortunately, cannot even dream of checking it out since only the witches and Stars can access that area. Burakku merely received it due to helping the witch librarians out when they were attacked," Chuma said as he opened his bag and pulled out his library card, "but if there are some basic history books I'm sure it'll cover a little bit of history over the creation of time."
"Oh?" Tsathoggua hummed seeing the library card, "You received access to the celestial catacombs?"
"Yes I received it when I went with Kur the first time to the celestial realm for closure on his part," Chuma said as he stood up and looked around, "is there a simpler path to Conjinham cause the portal to the celestial realm is in Conjinham?"
"Atlach-Nacha knows that path well just go west of the fountain and you'll see her hut at the beginning of the pathways toward the other portals," Enma said softly, "I think it's time to return to Makai everyone is asking if you were alright along with Kur. News travels fast amongst everyone and with the news of how Conjinham was swarmed with people wishing to harm them they grew worried when they went to check on you and noticed you were not home. Do you want to return with me to Makai and wait for Kur or?"
"I'll stay here," Velacera said keeping his eyes on the book without looking up, "I'll return home soon it would feel so empty at home without our normal routine being followed each day."
"Don't worry I'll be here there are no other council meetings until the family reunion several moons from now," Tsathoggua stated as he hummed softly, "no need to worry Uncle, Velacera will be fine with me besides I'm enjoying the company. It's been so long since anyone stayed here longer than a day."
"Alright if that's what you wish," Enma stood up before sighing, "I'll inform the others and will keep in touch for any other developments." Enma went to walk to the door before the door almost smacked him in the face if not for him catching the door with his right hand, "Cthulhu what's the rush for?!"
"Oh, oho hello Uncle Ethmnaluthayl sorry about that but you'll never believe what just happened," Cthulhu said sheepishly before turning to Tsathoggua, "Azachiel who is always docile sitting in the room we made for them but he just walked up to grandfather Yog-Sothoth and said a weird phrase and name before going back to the room and just sat there back to his docile state."
"Azachiel came out of his docile state again?" Tsathoggua tilted his head to the left, "this is his fifth time in 2 years normally he walks around but these last 3 times especially when the name Izanagi rolls off either Uncle Ethmnaluthayl's or Grandfather Yog-Sothoth's tongue he reacts like he knows the name and has spoken the name several times even slight mumbles but never a full conversation wise."
"What did Azachiel say, Cthulhu?" Enma asked as Cthulhu hummed before shrugging his shoulders.
"It wasn't quite clear as it was a different language before 2nd generation Celtic but the one thing that stood out was the name," Cthulhu sighed, "I believe it was Haimair-, no Hajimr-, no," Cthulhu growled as he crossed his arms before jumping forward, "Hajimari! That's the name, Hajimari."
Velacera and Chuma looked at each other before looking at the book in unison, "didn't the book just mention how Azathoth and the first Celestial Creator, Hajimari knew each other and first created the universe?" Chuma asked as Velacera lifted the book.
"How long ago did this happen?" Velacera asked with curiosity in his voice.
"Just after that first Sphinx mare came through the gates to you and after the cryptic cleric left the council room," Cthulhu with enthusiasm as he looked over at the book, "wait you actually got access to that book and heard that name as well?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"The first Celestial Creator, Hajimari," Velacera said as he opened the book. The book flipped violently once more before stopping and displaying a holographic image of someone in blue holding a hand up toward a dark figure.
"---Hajimari, the first Celestial creator. The clarity to equal the equivalent to Azathoth, the calamity. They created the fabrics of time and space as each gave equal recommendations of how to create the universe to their equality. Unfathomedly Hajimari created 3 children as did Azathoth creating the first 6 Gods that would share their interests and ideas. Unfortunately, in records, it's described that Hajimari's core was slashed apart by one of their children. The oldest, Izanagi, the current Celestial Creator was recommended to take a stand to put a stop to their sibling and with the backup from Azathoth. Izanagi was successful in trapping and sealing their sibling away for all eternity with both of their sacrifices." The book read as Velacera looked up seeing everyone staring at the Necronomicon and him.
"So that explains Azathoth's eternal slumber but why did Azachiel just suddenly do that?" Nyarlathotep said as he leaned back.
"That's true," Yog-Sothtoh sighed, "but I am unfamiliar with the first-generation Celtic as we were only taught the second generation afterward. So unless we have a translator that knows first-generation Celtic we can't know for sure what Azachiel said."
"I think I remember a few phrases but my memory does not recall any of those phrases Azachiel did today," N'Yog-Sothep sighed.
"So what now?" Cthulhu shrugged his shoulders as he looked around, "clearly it's important if Azachiel snapped out of his docile state to say whatever he said."
"How about asking that book itself," Enma walked next to Velacera, "clearly the text is written in first-generation Celtic so the book might act like a translator. Does anyone know verbatim what Azachiel said?"
Each Eldritch God looked from one to another, back and forth before Yog-Sothoth pulled out a skeleton key and tossed it towards Enma, "I had recorded the memory in the case as it's a rarity Azachiel speaks less alone with much intelligence such as an older language." Enma caught the key before holding it towards Velacera.
"I have much less knowledge of pronunciation than you guys so how-" Velacera stopped midsentence as the wind picked up turning the pages violently as the key started to faintly glow, "What in Makai is going on with this book?"
Just as suddenly as it started to turn pages it settled down before the pages glowed before the voice rung out once more sounding more echoing and tense than before as if mimicking someone else, "Hajimari is home, the child never consumed the core of their creator but yet made Hajimari a new identity and new purpose, clever child."
The room was tense and deathly silent. "Hajimari is home? And the term child?" Nyarlathotep tilted his head, "I know of when speaking in passings that Izanagi is significantly around mine, N'Yog-Sothep, and Darkness's ages since we are considered the first gods besides Azathoth and Hajimari themselves but isn't it in the record that Hajimari is presumed dead?"
"That's also my thought as well," the more sounding feminine voice came from behind, "and what have I told you I prefer Magnum now, Magnum Tenebrosum." A slight grumbling could be heard from them as they folded their arms across their chest.
"Magnum or Darkness either is equal in calling you at this point," Nyarlathotep shrugged his shoulders before turning to Velacera, "Hajimari was slain by their child for greed like the record says while the greedy child was about to slay their youngest sibling the oldest, Izanagi stopped the momentum of the sword with one of theirs they fought for some bit giving the youngest time to flee but Izanagi still came to us and Azathoth gave him the chance to get the upper hand by saying that Izanagi has to consume his creators core so they could defeat and trap their greedy sibling."
"So what does that mean to what Azachiel said?" Yog-Sothoth questioned as he stood up, "Azachiel's actions are rare and unique each time. And every time they had said something implied it has happened or that needed immediate attention." Yog-Sothoth sighed as moved from behind the stand before walking closer to Velacera and Enma, "Tsathoggua said something about his experience seeing your friend transform the way that they did. But also made suggestions on the topic of what your friend could be," Yog-Sothoth was much closer as he leaned over staring down at the glowing pages, "it all seems too much of a coincidence that your friend's transformation, Azachiel's rare occasion of out of docileness and speaking in older language than the second generation Celtic and for it to translate into what it translated as-"
A sphinx mare fluttered between Yog-Sothoth and Velacera before moving slightly to the left as a hologram of Burakku manifested, "did I just interrupt something?" Burakku asked as he looked around at the hologram.
"Nothing that couldn't be picked up again," Yog-Sothoth waved off Burakku's question, "it seems a bit early for another message from you Burakku. Is there something the matter?"
"It's Kur," Burakku sighed, "I had just walked away from the platform onto my ship for merely a few minutes to deal with a dispute between my subordinates and came back and learned from Creator-sama that Kur merely said they were returning to Conjinham to clear their head but I have no idea where in Conjinham Kur might've gone I had sent a Lumerian to Conjinham to see if they could find Kur. I was looking for the little lich fella but I see he's not in the room."
"Chuma returned to Conjinham in passing to go return his borrowed books from the Celestial catacombs," Velacera said as he closed the book in his arms, "but I doubt he's still in Conjinham since he was in a rush to go the celestial realm. If I could be excused I'll look for Kur. I want to confirm he's alright like how he messaged not even hours before." Enma looked over to Yog-Sothoth and nodded his head.
Enma patted Velacera's shoulder, "Go and just be careful just because that exorcist are gone away from Conjinham and we discovered you grew immune to purification magic due to Kur's involvement don't become reckless."
"I understand," Velacera bowed to the rest, "Thank you I am honored that you had shown hospitality towards mine and my friend, Chuma's stay. I must say goodbye as—"
"No need to explain yourself," Shub-Niggurath hummed as Velacera straightened up, "there's once in a lifetime or two when those bonds you create with others matter the most. It's better to hold them dear as those memories are the true treasure~"
Velacera nodded his head as he turned around and fast-walked out of the room, "Wai— he's already gone. I was going to say Kur is still in his weird transformation I did hear a bit about how he couldn't control that form as he can't transform back as easily as he did before."
"Is it dangerous to be around Kur then," Enma asked as Burakku shook his head.
"No, the air is just more purified around them in the mortal realm but nothing burning sense almost like how these Sphinx mares work," Burakku said as he looked at the exit, "I couldn't calm Kur's thoughts and I am his subordinate that's part of my role of Devil. I am supposed to filter and console my Star, which makes me the moderator of emotions for a star since in theory Stars cannot have many emotions to prevent another deja vu of the massive relapse as what others call the big bang event."
"When Azathoth and Izanagi trapped Fushoku in prison?" Yog-Sothoth asked as Burakku nodded his head again, "So Stars shouldn't have strong emotions but it seems Kur has more than the parental emotions that they are allowed." Burakku once again nodded his head.
"Yes the Devil and Lumerian Elder is supposed to act like the emotions that are stronger like anger and grief but since the lumerian elder Seimi was killed by the Zmora and Aku-Umi I cannot filter and control the emotions all on my own," Burakku sighed, "I do hope Velacera will be able to get Kur to talk to him."
