Peacefulness

"Awe look at you," Zandkooi giggled, "see you guys, why can't you be more easygoing like Kur? Doesn't he look pleasant in this beach attire (art above)", Zandkooi huffed as she pulled Kur's hair back into a high up ponytail. Kur merely hummed while looking up from the book he was reading to look as Vesuvius sighed and shook his head, "I think if you give Kur anything good to read he'd readily agree to mostly anything," Vesuvius looked over to where Velacera was sitting on a stranded rock looking out into the darkened waters near Zandkooi's home, "isn't that right Velacera?"

Velacera jolted from his thoughts when hearing his name before looking over to what Vesuvius was talking about, "Dadaki was the one that suggested that Kur should have more of a wardrobe if he was going to live here with us and Kur agreed with it and so far only Dadaki and Zandkooi have suggestions for some of the wardrobe," Velacera sighed and took out his pen from his pocket and merely picked up the book that was loosely sitting beside him, "it's strange seeing Kur in different attire but I kinda agree with Dadaki about the wardrobe part since I only got Kur the one outfit and Kur would only wear that and the attire I found him in was nothing but rags then."

Vesuvius hummed as he turned back to see Zandkooi finishing up by tying the baby blue ribbon in Kur's hair to keep his hair up, "and there the final touch~ what do you think Vessy and Vel?" She asked the two of them as Vesuvius gave a nod for his approval, Velacera looked up from writing and nodded his head as well. "It's not overbearing and it keeps in the themes of what his original attire covers, and the chains that were made by Fundicarne match and still wrap around Kur which still serves the purpose of easy access if Kur is ready to fight." Velacera pointed out the things Kur had made clear when they had already discussed earlier that day as in wardrobe sense.

"How does it feel Kur," Zandkooi asked as she stepped in front of him Kur looked up and gave a warm smile. "It is made of light material which does bring its benefits as well as what Velacera said, I appreciate this outfit very much, thank you Zandkooi," Kur said in a soft tone as they went back to reading their book. Zandkooi giggled and turned to Vesuvius before sitting down next to him, turning around she called out for Velacera, "Vel, you don't have to sit way over there," Velacera looked up once more from writing to see that it was Zandkooi talking to him, "come sit closer to us and write I am sure it would be less windy over here as well." Velacera sighed as he closed his book and put his pen back in his pocket before getting up from the rock and walking over to where the other three sat.

"Fine, fine," Velacera gave an exhausted sigh before walking over next to Kur and sitting down on his left and opening his book again, and taking out his pen, "by the way has anyone seen Galeba lately? He's stated several times that he wanted to meet Kur in person but every time I tell him Kur is in the library no one seems to see him until days afterward?"

"You should know Galeba by now Velacera," Vesuvius sighed as he points behind him towards the water, "he's probably out in the waters right now fishing or whatever he does best instead of being on land half of the time. It's a rarity to even see him on land for very long." Vesuvius huffed as he took a small sandwich off the platter that was sitting in the middle that Zandkooi insisted on having snacks this time around sitting on the beach. "Who's Galeba?" Kur asked looking up from his book and hearing a hellspawn that he hasn't met before. "Galeba is another hellspawn that likes to share this area with me," Zandkooi giggled as she took a mini-sandwich from the platter, "though he likes to stay in the waters than the shore."

"Every time he was on shore," Vesuvius sighed as he looked around to the waters, "well, well speak of the hellspawn he's actually coming to shore since several days before. But every time he was on shore you were either gone or in the library which like how Galeba is with the water it seems like you are the same way with the library." Vesuvius stood up and tilted his head up giving Galeba a short but courteous nod, "Luckily this time around you guys are in the same place for once."

"Heyo," Galeba called walking closer to the group, "ain't it a fine day to be having a picnic. Oh, Velacera didn't expect you to be this close considering your flames and all." Velacera looked up and gave a small smile. "I am actually here with Kur as Zandkooi offered to help with his wardrobe," Velacera closed the book and set the pen on top of the hardcover of the book, "while you're here as well, Galeba meet Kur, the Celestial being that I saved nearly 3 years ago, he is officially living here now, Kur meet Galeba, the hellspawn codename of Dreadful Remains of a Sunken Ship." Kur looked up from reading and gave a light smile. "Greetings, I have met many but I guess not all of you yet," Kur gave a soft tone as they closed their book.

"Well ain't you cordial," Gabela chuckled as he stuck out his hand, "nice to meet ya! Everyone has stated you can be quite the proper fella. Glad to have ya around, Kur!" There was clear excitement in Galeba's voice as Kur took his hand and they shook hands. "Mind if I join ya?" Galeba asked looking around at the other three. "I see no reasons not to," Vesuvius stated as he grabbed another sandwich from the platter. Galeba sat down perpendicular to the empty spot and next to Kur and Vesuvius. Grabbing a sandwich and starting to munch on it, "I am guessing you made these this morning, Zandkooi?"

"Actually it was Vesuvius that helped me this morning making these," Zandkooi giggled as she picked up another sandwich, "Kur eat something you need something to put in your tummy." Kur hummed as he looked up and closed his book, "sorry Zandkooi, my being really doesn't realize consumptions are needed as I mostly rely on the energies and my core's strength. I do have to force myself to consume most times when Velacera cooks and when he asks me to cook. But food does have wonderful tastes and textures." Kur placed a sandwich in his mouth and chewed a bite.

"So Celestials don't eat much?" Zandkooi asked as she took another bite from her sandwich actually curious about the topic. Kur hummed as he nodded his head, "but we can consume and taste we do have that ability though we don't act it out as much as a living mortal does it's always fun to cook and taste foods that we see," Kur took another bite from his sandwich, "it's a rarity that we ever gain weight as well our mass is the mass of what our core represents. So the phrasing 'fatting up' doesn't really apply to Celestials but we can change our forms to what we think might fit in what we prefer or like when viewing the mortal realm. And some Celestials can even change our gender appearance."

"Wow," Zandkooi cooed in awe as finished off her sandwich, "so I now I see you prefer the male representations so you formed those male appearances to appear on your form, right?" Kur nodded his head and took another bite of his sandwich, "yes, though originally my body does not hold any specific gender." Galeba perked up after hearing the exchange, "well I will be tipped over, so your saying you can willy-nilly yourself into any appearance," Kur nodded, "kinda like those frogs who can self reproduce themselves if no mate is optional right." Everyone stopped mid-bite as they looked at Galeba, Kur coughed into his fist as he shook his head. "Not in that sense no, I can merely change my appearance as I prefer. But frog species were designed that way, I am what many call a Celestial Void and previously was called a Celestial Star. Most Voids and Stars are not meant to pro-create like the typical standards many have come to know."

"But we do create others but we create them out of the energies around us and create their core and the ones we create choose their forms," Kur sighed as seeing everyone getting a little uncomfortable, "besides Velacera," Kur turned to Velacera who was on his left, "your newest book is splendid I don't see why it doesn't make the charts." Velacera gave a small tired smile, "thanks Kur, I appreciate your compliment about my books I really do, you read them like every day including some of my oldest works. But unfortunately, the mortal world doesn't like this type of genre and rather prefers sappy romance stories that are barely written in a professional way with details and the standard hill stance method." Kur gave a side glance, confused even, "sappy romance novels? I believe Burakku mentioned that before and said that if it was mortally possible that he would rather puke rainbows than read one of those genre's books. I am guessing that bad if Burakku would always refuse to transport it on his ship when traveling and delivering shipments in the Celestial terrains."

"Yeah those sappy romance novels can't even be proper with action and climate," Galeba grabbed another sandwich, "or like that famous book Moby Dick, I want a sea beast nearly as cool as Moby Dick or like in those old fashion Pirate's tales. Davey John's locker type of sea beast. But no, it's the same type of 'love at first sight' sappy love that makes humans seem less interesting than in the older era's writings." Kur hummed as he opened the book once more, "why is that phrase used so much though, to me it sounds like an unimaginative figure of speech used to devalue the term of love which holds many meanings and strong emotional bonds." Velacera shrugged his shoulder, "we've been asking that question for years Kur. But no one seems to hold a solid answer."

"Interesting," Kur hummed as he flipped the page and kept reading, "I rather prefer the stories here than the few from the mortal world that Pinpale brought to me to place on the shelves of the library. Though I do admire one work from a mortal the Romeo and Juliet script play. Though I have heard many tried to recreate the masterpiece but failed as it turned into a ripoff of the original with no creativity." Velacera nodded his head, "yeah you heard correctly there have been many that tried but nothing comes close to what Shakespear had created a long time ago, I was thinking of trying to do so but my writing style might be a little too much for trying to revamp the classic Romeo and Juliet scenario."

"I am sure your work would be way better in advance than those who have tried already," Kur smiled as he looked up from the book, "and that's the truth, after all, I a Celestial cannot bluff a lie in the slightest." Velacera sighed and smiled, "you're not lying there but that's kinda extravagating my capabilities there, and besides Tsathoggua and Eibon are some of the writers that highly inspired me to write what I write and I fear I might not be in the slightest in comparison to them."

"Tsathoggua? Eibon? I guess there's still a lot to learn here," Kur gave a small smile while closing the book and grabbing another sandwich, "oh that's right, Velacera I am going to be at the library all day tomorrow as I asked King Enma to show me some more advance magic formula's as I believe they would come in handy. I was very relieved when he agreed to show me them. So please don't panic when you wake tomorrow and don't see me in the house." Velacera sighed and took another sandwich, "alright, alright. I'll remind myself before going to bed tonight." Galeba stood up and stretched, "why does Kur have to tell ya, Velacera?"

"You were out in the waters when Kur came back and missed what happened. Kur fainted all of a sudden and sent Velacera and Chuma into a panic," Vesuvius huffed as he stood up as well, "it kinda freaked those who were there to see Kur come back and faint without a word. But luckily Chuma and King Enma calmed everyone down and figured out why Kur suddenly fainted. Velacera is just being cautious like always, I mean I can't blame him for that. Seeing Kur faint did startle me as he is quite the big fella," Vesuvius looked over to Velacera and Kur, "hey, when you have time and all how about a spar, it's been a while since the last time. I kinda wanna see if you improved a bit since the last time."

"Very well," Kur nodded as he, Velacera, and Zandkooi stood up, "how about next week around this time?" Vesuvius nodded, "yeah that works see you two." Velacera and Kur waved before walking away as they also see Galeba walk towards the waters once more and seemingly chuckling to himself. Kur held his folded-up clothes in one hand as he held the book in the other open and read once more. "You're really glued to this book as well. Do I expect you to read this one 10 times before moving to the next one like last time?" Velacera asked with a small smirk the only response he got was Kur nodding his head and humming.
