"I want you both."
Taehyung and Jungkook simultaneously gulped.
Suddenly, both of them realized just what kind of situation they found themselves in.
Jungkook shuddered, fright overcoming him. He was scared. Terrified even. For himself and for Taehyung. The worries he had last week — how would he survive after his parents kicked him out — it all seemed so meaningless now. Now, his whole family was dead, vampires were killing and kidnapping humans, and he and Taehyung were just caught by one and who knows what that means for them. 'He wants us both. What in the world does that mean?! He won't kill us, right? He could have and probably would have done that already if that was the case. But he could still change his mind... Oh God, he's not thinking of sucking us dry, is he? No, don't think like that, Jungkook. Argh! What does he mean 'he wants us both'??? Could it be— That he wants to use as sex slaves?! Oh, no—'
Jungkook snapped his head up and looked at Jimin with wide eyes. Jimin gave him a confused look, wondering why did the boy suddenly looked at him like that. He didn't even do anything! Yet.
Jimin's piercing gaze did nothing to soothe Jungkook's worries. He felt powerless under it, naked even, as Jimin traced the outline of his and Taehyung's body with a hungry stare that made them think he was moments away from pouncing on both of them. On instinct his hands reached for Taehyung's, searching for comfort. Taehyung was calmer now, having been defeated by handcuffs, but he still had an angry look plastered on his face. Still, despite his uncomfortable position he extended his hands to the best of his abilities and squeezed Jungkook's.
Taehyung was pretty scared too, but the tried to focus on the anger, hoping it would overpower his fear. He was angry at the pretty pink-haired vampire that violated him and will probably do much more if they don't escape — he didn't even want to think what would happen if they stay trapped. He was angry that these vampires kidnapped them; angry that they seemed to do the same thing to everyone else; angry that no one else was able to fight them off; angry that there was no one to help them; angry at his father for more reasons that he could be able to mention even if he had a whole day just to do so; angry at himself for allowing them to end up in such a situation and angry at the stupid cuffs that wouldn't at all budge no matter how much he struggled.
But all that anger was melted away and replaced by a need to comfort Jungkook once he noticed the boy's condition. He scrambled closer to the younger and managed to pull his arm so the younger's body was pressed against him. Jungkook tried to push himself away, unsure if they should behave like that next to Jimin but his resolve shattered once he made eye contact with Taehyung. His warm brown eyes, the same ones that always brought him comfort, seemed even more determined to do the same now. Because of that Jungkook decided to relax and sink onto his friend, burying his nose in Taehyung's neck and breathing in the familiar scent.
The rest of the ride passed in silence. And it was a looong (ass) ride.
Jungkook somehow managed to fall asleep on Taehyung's shoulder, while the older stayed alert and kept watch over him, all while also keeping an eye on Jimin.
As Jungkook slowly drifted off into dreamland his worries transferred over to Taehyung. Taehyung knew there must have been a reason as to why Jimin decided to basically kidnap them rather them leave them or kill them right away. Thoughts about how he might become a sex slave (along with precious Jungkook!) or how they might become just human blood bags swirled around his head. He was irritated but also frightened by the whole situation.
Jimin, who was also watching them the whole time, having not glanced away even once, noticed how scared and tense they were. It made sense to him of course. He could guess in what direction their thoughts were going and what they were thinking. It made him feel bad. And uncomfortable. Really uncomfortable. His whole body was aching with the need to comfort and reassure them. He had this huge urge to protect them but even so, he stayed still.
The pull he felt towards them once again reminded him of the soulmate legend. He was still skeptical because after all, it was just a legend. But with the two boys finally right in front of him, he couldn't deny that there was something special about them. And he knew he needed to protect them. He was doing exactly that, only in his own way. By being close to him, the two boys will be kept away from any harm and well cared for. They might dislike him for now, but Jimin's ego refused to be hurt by that. They were his either way, no matter what feelings they felt regards him. Plus, he knew it was best to stay careful and guarded and keep his emotions in check. His position was a very desired one and many wanted to take away his own and his clan's power. Jimin doubted the boys were planning to hurt him or anything like that, they certainly weren't capable of anything like that. But if they were really his soulmates ('even though soulmates were a myth' he reminded himself) that meant that their bond could be used against him. And he didn't want that to happen.
As the car left the town Jimin concluded he should stop stressing so much. Nothing bad happened. Really the worst thing was trying to figure out how it happened that he had two soulmates. TWO soulmates. Soulmates on their own were not even proven to be a thing and he somehow scored himself two? And two so gosh darn cute at it. What Jimin did to deserve such grace was an enigma. (Even though the answer was nothing — he definitely didn't do anything to deserve that. But he wasn't about to complain.)
The car slowed down, alerting Jimin that they were almost at their destination.
"You should wake him up now," he said to Taehyung.
"Huh?" Taehyung tried to press Jungkook closer to himself, only to curse at the cuffs that were still restraining him.
Jimin gave him a small smirk at that. He shifted over the seats to be closer to them and leaned in. He extended his hand and petted Jungkook's hair. "The sleepyhead should awake now." Jungkook's eyes slowly fluttered open. Taehyung tried to move Jungkook further away from the vampire but their position and his still shackled hands prevented him from doing so. Jimin let out a small chuckle, amused by Taehyung's glare. He tilted his head as a challenge and was pleased when neither of the boys spoke.
Dominance successfully asserted, he thought.
"We're home!" he announced.
"Home?" Jungkook asked half curious, half mocking.
Jimin hummed in affirmation and the car's door opened for him. As he was stepping out he grabbed the leash connected to the chain of Jungkook's handcuffs and pulled him along.
"Well it's your home as well now," he told them once Taehyung also stepped out and joined them, annoyed by the leash hanging from his cuffs and swaying behind him.
Jimin smiled, looking into Jungkook's eyes, tightly holding his leash in one hand and grabbing Taehyung's with the other, "Welcome... I guess."
