Danger In Love: Mission Complete
Mark leans over breathing heavily and reaches under his jacket, Jack watches him press a button on some metallic device before he covers it up once again and stands fully straight. Mark, having regained his breath completely reaches into his belt, grabbing out a second gun and offering it to Jack.
"You might want some protection..."
Mark says quietly to Jack, who shakes his head. The green haired man tilts his head with a small smile.
"Don't bother, I can't shoot to save my life. Just protect me and we won't have a problem."
Jack says walking slightly away from Mark. Mark sighs and grumbles under his breath putting the second gun away once again.
"Great, another thing to worry about...."
He mumbles under his breath before following after Jack. The warehouse was much larger on the inside, and was scattered with boxes, some empty, some holding an unknown substance. Jack walks up to one of the boxes, despite Mark warning him not to, and touches the powdery substance within rubbing it between his fingers and looking at it.
"Heroin..."
He says quietly wiping the stuff from his fingers on his pants. Mark looks at him walking forward.
"How can you tell?"
He asks looking at the man, hoping to maybe get something more out of him. Jack looks at him and smiles a bit mischievously.
"Just believe I know what I'm talking about Marky"
Jack says almost a bit teasingly as he walks away from the box and further into the building.
"So how exactly are we going to take this place down?"
Jack asks not turning back to Mark, whom had cringed at the fact he had been called 'Marky'. Mark sighs and follows him again.
"First off will you be careful where you are walking, we aren't sure if this building is clear"
Mark says with a glare making Jack scoff. Jack reaches down opening his laptop once again, and typing something in. His eyes scan his screen, his glasses showing a reflection of what looked to be the building.
"All clear."
Jack says after a moment his eyes travelling up to Mark with a smirk.
"You can't be sure Jack"
Mark says with a small growl, only making Jack smile more.
"I checked all the cameras, this place is emptier than your head"
Jack says knocking on his head once with his fist as though to prove a point. In a second he closes his computer and a bullet wizzes past his head, it would have hit his computer if he had closed it even a second later.
Mark curses under his breath and lifts the gun aiming at where the bullet had come from, he focuses on that spot for a moment before he shoots, the gunshot ringing out around the building. A guy falls with a grunt and soon all noise dies out once again. Mark shoots a glare at Jack who simply shrugged, not seeming bothered by the fact he was almost shot.
"My bad, now the building it clear... Nice shot Marky"
He says tilting his head at the red haired man with a small cocky grin. Mark growls quietly and grabs his arm almost making him drop his computer as he pulls him along.
"Be more careful, we can't just prance in here alright??"
Mark says with a snarl and shoots a glance back at Jack.
"And don't call me Marky......"
He adds under his breath. Jack pulls his arm away and growls, though still has a small reminisce of a smirk.
"Alright alright...... Marky...."
He says his smile growing a bit as he follows along. Mark purposefully ignores him and keeps walking, his gun still held and ready, while Jack simply follows along boredly.
Soon Mark reaches his arm out stopping Jack who sighs and looks at him raising an eyebrow.
"What now..."
He says almost sounding annoyed, Mark ignores his tone and reaches into a small bag he had just under his jacket. He pulls out a couple of metal saucers, with a red light in the middle and turns to Jack handing two to him, and keeping two to himself.
"Place those against the wall and press the red button, one there, and one there."
Mark says pointing to two spots, one on a column, and one on an adjacent wall. Jack nods and walks over to the spots Mark had pointed at as Mark takes a couple more on the opposite walls.
Jack places them against the wall and hits the middle button, four metal arms spring out sticking to the wall and the light begins flashing. He does this with both just as Mark finishes and walks back to the middle of the room.
"OK, now what...."
Jack asks placing a hand against his hip his computer once again in his satchel.
"Now, we get the hell out of here.
Mark says beginning to walk back the way they came.
"And how do you expect to do that, when there is a ton of armed men outside?"
Jack asks following after Mark who kept walking. Mark shoots a glance backwards a smug look clear on his face.
"Don't worry about it, it's been taken care of"
He says as they reach the door, Mark looks over to Jack who sighs forgetting he had locked the door from both sides and takes his computer out, quickly getting the door to slide open and putting the laptop back into his satchel.
When the door opens the sight shocks Jack slightly. Bodies laid scattered across the ground, and bullet shells around those, it was a massacre.
"What the hell..."
Jack mumble under his breath looking around. Mark simply smiles and walks out.
"I had a little help,"
Mark says and Jack thinks back to when Mark had hit the button and his gaze travels down to where it was. Mark follows his gaze and pulls it out showing it to the green haired man.
"Sends a code red signal back to headquarters, they sent backup to take care of these guys"
Mark says clearly proud of himself, as shown by his smile. Mark puts the device back and holsters his gun walking to where they had hidden the car, just behind some trees, Mark climbs in the driver's side and Jack climbs in passenger as Mark starts it up and begins driving. The green haired man looks back raising an eyebrow.
"What about all the drugs.... You can't just leave those there"
Jack says turning to Mark. Mark, keeping one hand on the steering wheel reaches into his pocket pulling out a small black remote and handing it over to Jack who takes it cautiously.
"Hit the green button"
Mark says simply shooting a glance at Jack for a split second. Jack raises an eyebrow but soon shrugs and hits the button. Within seconds a loud explosion sounds out behind them, it startles Jack but barely deters Mark. Jack quickly spins his head to look out the rear window just as the building begins collapsing, its main support columns having been taken out.
Jack's surprised face quickly forms into a giant smile having watched that his eyes lighting up with amusement at the destruction.
"That was awesome!"
He says loudly nearly bouncing in his seat. Mark chuckles quietly at his enthusiasm and keeps driving, occasionally shooting glances at the green haired man who focused out the window.
"Just drop me off by that old warehouse from before, it's where I've been staying"
Jack says as they begin getting near it. Mark shakes his head making Jack raise an eyebrow confused.
"That old place? You can stay with me, I have a guest bedroom and heat"
Mark says making Jack scoff slightly, though he looked as though thinking it over. Mark knew he had to get close to this man for his mission, but if he was honest this man intrigued him and he actually wanted to know more about him.
"I'm fine on my own, thanks"
Jack mumbles under his breath looking at Mark who glances over at him with a small sly grin.
"Come on Jack'a'boy, I insist."
Mark says teasingly using a nickname. Jack's eyes widen slightly and he looks away his cheeks heating up slightly red.
"Fine..."
Jack mumbles under his breath looking away from Mark and out the window to hide the red tint on his cheeks.
