((Hello everyone sorry its been awhile, i got kind of busy with different stuff. But here is a new chapter. sorry its a bit short but I have an idea for the next one so it should be out fairly soon.))

Mark's eyes open slowly his vision slightly blurred and his head sore. He tries to move only to find he is bound with ropes in the dark building.

"Good morning sleepy head..."

He hears a familiar Irish accent mumble sarcastically behind him. He turns his head slightly and see's Jack, their backs together and both of them tied together with ropes. The men they had been watching sat a little ways away from them digging through Mark's coat, and Jack's bag pulling out the different objects. Jack's eyes kept going to his computer, clearly caring about it more than himself.

"What the hell happened?"

Mark mumble to Jack. The green haired man shoots a look at the man a small growl escaping him.

"You got us caught genius.... I told you not to go in!"

Jack says his voice raising slightly, as he was clearly angry with the man. One of the two men, one with blondish hair and blue eyes shoots a glare at the Irish Man.

"Shut it."

He says in a gruff voice. Jack looks at Mark for a second before looking at the two men again seeming to think before finally speaking again.

"Hey... You should just let me go."

Jack says quietly making Mark sigh quietly shaking his head, and the men to shoot an annoyed glance at him.

"You have no reason to keep me, I'm not the cop here..."

Jack continues making the blonde man look at him again raising an eyebrow.

"This guy is the cop"

He says gesturing to Mark with his head, who sat in shock at what the man was saying.

"I was just paid to be here and have no reason to turn you in. If you let me go, I won't tell anyone. I can even help you keep off the grid."

Jack continues bargaining as Mark watches him, to in shock to say anything, the man was trying to betray him. The men actually seemed to think on this for a minute or so quiet murmurs heard between the two.

"No charge."

Jack adds with a small smile, his smile seeming genuine as though he had thought this through thoroughly and he was ready to betray Mark without a second thought. The blonde man looks to the other one, who had black hair and brown eyes, the black haired man nods slightly and the blonde stands up walking over.

"Fine, but you mess up once, and you're dead."

The man says before quickly untying Jack and retying Mark even tighter than before. Mark watches the hacker stand up and walk over grabbing his sack and his computer packing it away, his eyes hurt. Mark had thought they bonded, even became somewhat of friends. Guess not though since it was so easy for Jack to leave him for dead. Jack shoots a glance at him noticing the hurt in his brown eyes and looking away quickly.

"What are you going to do with him?"

Jack asks gesturing to Mark again avoiding looking into his pained brown eyes.

"He's a cop you said. so Kill him..."

The black haired man says nonchalantly with a shrug. The blonde grabs the gun from before and cocks it before aiming it at the red haired man's head. Mark looks down a bit clenching his eyes shut and preparing himself while Jack rummages around seeming to not care.

Mark keeps his eyes shut, as he feels the gun press against his temple. He didn't have a way out of this, and frankly was ready to go, he lived a good life, but all good things must come to an end.

In a second. A loud bang rings out through the building.
