"What do you know about my man van?" Ray asked Chapa.

"None of your business."

Next was Alanna.

Ray knelt down to the 4-year-old's height.

"You know anything about it?" Ray asked.

No response.

"Anything?"

Nothing.

Ray eventually gave up and stood up.

"Why do I even bother with you?" He asked, gently pushing Alanna in Chapa's direction.

Next was Bose.

"What about you, dimples? Know anything about my man van being in the river?"

"I don't know anything about anything!" Bose said, making Alanna giggle.

"That checks out."

Later...

Mika walked out of the school, before letting out a scream.

"I got to tell someone!" She muttered to herself.

"Mika?" A small voice called.

Mika flinched and turned around and was relieved to see it was just Alanna.

"Oh, Alanna. I thought you were someone else!" Mika nervously said.

"Mika okay?" The 4-year-old asked, cutely tilting her head to the side.

"Yes. I'm fine! Why don't you uh... go wait for the race to start?" Mika replied, but Alanna didn't budge.

Mika knew she wasn't going to leave until she told her what's really going on.

"Okay, fine! I'll tell you!" Mika walked over to the glass door, and saw the others were distracted, before she gently took Alanna's small hand in hers and led her away from the door.

"You got to promise me that you won't tell anybody! Got it?" Mika asked, putting her hands on Alanna's shoulders, and she nodded.

"Mama Schwoz isn't really sick! She doesn't have melty bones!" Mika quickly said, making Alanna gasped dramatically.

"I know! I went to get her gum, and saw her DANCING." She said, before going back over to Alanna.

"You can't tell anybody else about this! Otherwise they'll think I'm a snitch! Pinky promise?" Mika asked, holding out her pinky to Alanna, who did the same thing, and Mika smiled.

"Sis, you out here?" Mika and Alanna looked over and saw Chapa in the doorway.

"There you are! I was worried about you! What are you doing out here?" Chapa asked, walking over and kneeling down to Alanna’s height, as Alanna looked over at Mika, before looking back at her older sister.

"Mika wanted to show me something." The 4-year-old lied, as Chapa looked at Mika, who caught on.

"Uh... yeah! I wanted to show her my... coin collection!" Mika said.

"Come on, sis. Why don't we go back inside? The horse race is about to start!" Chapa said, standing up and gently picking up Alanna, setting her down onto her hip, and headed towards the door, before turning towards Mika.

"Mika, you coming?" She asked.

"I'll be right there!" Mika replied, as Chapa smiled, before heading back inside with Alanna, before Mika took a deep breath.

"I gotta tell someone eventually!" She muttered, before going back inside.
